Everything was straightforward and fair. Definitely would recommend Juan to anyone looking for an installer. Other companies were asking for deposits and such, which I found to be pretty shady.

He told me what I did wrong after I tried to do it myself.

We are renovating a former rental, and while replacing the electrical outlets and switches lost power to half the house.  We had used JM3 before and had a good experience, so we called late in the afternoon on a Thursday and made an appointment for 8:30 Monday morning. The technician rang the doorbell at 8:31. He quickly got to work checking all of the outlets and switches - whether we had changed them out or not. He madeaking corrections as he went. He even identified problems in places we hadn't worked on yet! <br />

He did a decent job electrically, as far as I can tell, but the breaker panel door doesn't close properly and he pushed through the wall and popped out the drywall on the other side. Didn't even realize it until much later! I also had a couple other problems as well - mostly due to communication issues I guess. In the end I have mismatched switches, outlets, a 4" hole in an exterior wall, damaged drywall, recessed lighting of different types that aren't sealed like I requested. I could keep going but basically, when I asked about just a few of these things he gave me a hard time. He will make style decisions and assumptions without asking you! Look elsewhere

Juan was great about contacting me and confirming the appointment time. He arrived on time and immediately went to work, finding and fixing the problem in no time. He is pleasant and knowledgable. The only glitch came when he asked for a cash/check payment. I had hired him through the Red Beacon app, and planned on paying him through the app. We quickly got it sorted out and there were no problems.
