Installation of two monorail light systems, two ceiling fans, and a flood light went very smoothly. Electrician took extra care to make sure fixtures were installed correctly. Communication throughout process was great. Job was competitively priced.

Superb planning for and execution of inside & outside electrical upgrade including: 1) Retrofit of existing outlets with GFCI protection and wiring safety checks; 2) Panel/power upgrade from 100 to 200 amps; 3) Addition of multiple circuits throughout house plus 30 amp circuits for A/C and RV; 4) Internal and external light fixture installations. Everything about the process was handled beautifully. I was contacted quickly, Jim at JM Electric came to the house the next day, gave me a quote, and got right to work. The installation of the new fixture was a bit trickier than most because the casing needed adjustment and the fixture required an elbow joint to sit on the slanted ceiling. He got all the parts and did the job quickly and professionally.

I contacted J & M Electric through Angie's List for a quote and Angel responded by telephone within the hour. We arranged for Jon Valaer, the licensed electrician, to come to my home the next day to investigate a non-working electrical outlet. Jon and Angel arrived the next day at the promised time, and were quick to investigate. Checking the circuit breaker box, they thought the issue might be with an electrical ground fault protection switch being thrown. Sure enough, we checked the outlets and reset the switch. The outlet was again live. Total time to correct was less than ten minutes. Both Jon and Angel were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I will not hesitate to contact them again for electrical needs at my Grand Junction home.

For both jobs, the technician arrived on time. For the electrical panel, they brought two certified electricians for the job (Domenic was the primary). Both were extremely efficient, professional, friendly and clean. They obtained the permit and scheduled the inspection. The inspection occurred two days later with no problems. The inspector commented he though they had done an outstanding job. For the spa connection, Domenic returned and did an outstanding job on this as well. I would definitely hire this company again for any electrical. I felt the price was reasonable as well.

Phenominal experience. Very experienced and professional electrician. Our electricity wouldn't stay on for more than an hour before the main breaker would trip. JM came out a couple hours after my call and promptley diagnosed the issue. They really could taken advantage of us, but charged us a very resonable rate to diagnose the issue and get it fixed.

Bryan Kiernan did a fantastic job installing a sub panel in my basement. He was fast, thorough, and used high quality materials. I highly recommend him and JM Electric.

Josh came and demonstrated to us that the problem was with the bulbs. He recommended reliable choices of LED bulbs and where to buy them. He also offered to replace our overhead corridor lights, which was a separate job and performed on this same visit. We greatly appreciated the professionalism and pleasantness of dealing with Josh. We will call JM again when we have electrical needs.

I had originally hired him for a minor project. Jim is professional and courteous. Punctual and always on time. Listens and communicates well. Could not ask for a better electrical contractor. Put in lights that will last up to 26 years. Worked very clean, efficiently and very quiet. I definitely will hire again. Very knowledgeable and does outstanding work. I highly recommend.
