Excellent. I have NEVER dealt with such a GREAT company. I am very leery of contractors because of past experiences. I am completely awestruck and amazed at the crew that Tom Bean had do my roof. There is only one way to describe the whole process from project quote to finish, EXCELLENT and a pleasant surprise. Thank you!!!

Crew was on time and very efficient. The removed all the old roofing and put up new underlayment and shingles. I gave quality a "B" because some of the shingles are not laying as flat as one ideally would like. Pricing was in the same neighborhood as another estimate and far below another estimate which was way high. <br /> Overall I am happy with the work and would certainly consider them gain. <br />

They were very professional from the estimate through the install stage. Their price was less than all estimates even though they used the exact same quality materials. The job was done quickly and they left the work area very clean of nails and debris.

John Bean Roofing was recommended by our realtor and they did a great job. A large crew did the work in one day and followed up the next day to clean up the remaining nails in the drive way. The Supervisor remained on the job the whole time and communicated very well with us. They even cleaned our skylights while on the roof. A new roof is costly but John Bean was a pleasure to work with. I recommend them. <br />

John responded very quickly to our estimate for a new roof installation. He provided us with excellent options for shingles. They started the work when scheduled and had all the materials at our home well in advance. They did a new roof on the house and she's and completed it all in one day. They did an excellent job and cleaned everything up. The roof looks great and it is clear and others who have more experience in this than we do commented that the work is of high quality. No short cuts and very professional.

The overall experience with John and Tom Bean and their crews was a pleasure.  From the thorough proposal including full explanation of what would be included, the process and start date to the final clean-up, it was a totally professional job.  The initial proposal came in mid-high compared to 2 other bids; there was only a little negotiation but assurances that what would be delivered would be well worth the investment.  I feel it definitely was.  The "removal" crew was fast, efficient and all business.  The installing crew, lead by Darren was fantastic and took great pride in their work.  They were very personable, respectful of "staying out of the way" as much as possible, happy to answer any questions and cleaned up daily.  Working with the quirkiness of a 250 year old home, cedar shingles and a lot of copper flashing has to be a difficult job; the end result looks fantastic.  We live on a busy street and have received a ton of rave reviews from friends and even strangers walking down the sidewalk.  We wrestled with the added cost of keeping the traditional cedar versus architectural  shingles but we're very pleased with our decision and to have had John Bean Roofing as our service provider.  I highly recommend them. <br />

In 2008 John Bean Roofing repaired part of our roof. Cost was $1400.00 and the work was exceptional. They are a little pricey but you never have to question whether or not the job is done right. We are now deciding what kind of work needs to be done and are definitely considering John Bean Roofing again. We would definitely recommend them to others. <br />

Great! Here on time, diligent workers. Of course LOUD!. Had cloths up to protect house and shrubery from falling debris. Still messy. Cleaned up with nail magnet. Looks fabulous. We forgot to put tarps over stuff in attic, so had big clean-up there due to things falling through ridge vent, and dust everywhere due to hammering. Good excuse to go through everything, clean out cobwebs, etc. <br /> <br />

I liked them very much.  They were very neat.  It only took one day.  They did a good job.  Everything went according to plan.  They cleaned up nicely after they were done.  I would highly recommend them.  If the price were cheaper it would be better, but that holds true for everything.
