John came prepared, and communicated so well, any obstacles and a few changes needed. He's knowledgeable, and explained each issue with patience. I so appreciated his ability to work independently, and professionally with me. He sent an initial invoice detailing all work to be done and gave an estimate. The results were perfect for my need, and I was really happy when the final invoice came and it was less than his original quote! ~Thanks for passing on the savings to me John!!! Had to fire him after it took him over 6 hours to install just 2 ceiling fans. Worst job you could imagine. Incapable of installing Either of them correctly. He installed one that wobbled when turned on and another where he forgot to include parts when he finished installing the other one. it. He was sloppy, wouldn't wear a face covering and left my house filthy after I had to have him stop working because he was incapable of completing the projects.

office door only opens half way, did not measure correctly for gas line will have to redo, draw in bathroom doesn't open now, never cleaned up his mess, pulled burner from barbecue and it doesn't work-refused to pay replacement I have pix of his incompetence and messes-finally had to fire him. This is the worst experience of any handyman I have hired.Paid close to $700, and will have to redo most things he worked on.

.John is the person I always call when I need help at my home. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always shows up on time and prepared to do what I need done. We had an electrical problem where some lights and the stove in our kitchen didn't work. We had checked the breakers and everything seemed to be in order but we stilled didn't have lights or stove after resetting the breaker. John came to out home in the evening and discovered that the breaker wasn't good. He went to Home Depot and purchased what he needed and got the lights and stove working again so we could cook dinner. What was amazing was that he came after hours to fix it and didn't charge us extra.

Everything was done and done well. John is a creative problem solver, which is helpful when working on an older building. The timing was a bit of a stress, as what was initially estimated to take one to two days took several more.

Everything went well; he was efficient, he left everything clean; the job was a little more complex than originally thought, so it took a little longer than predicted; he is very honest.

John completed a variety of 20 tasks in our home and did a fantastic job. Some of them were difficult and he never complained. He went out for supplies several times and came back and quickly completed the jobs. He's a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him to anyone. His prices were very competitive and he was a very honest and friendly person.

Very satisfied. We replaced 2 doors from the garage to the back yard with 2 pre-hung steel doors. Just getting the old doors out was a project (removing trim, stucco around the doors etc. Installing the new doors was even more exacting to get everything square and just right and then to patch everything back up so that the work will be basically invisible (we’re just starting on the priming/painting ourselves). John has so much experience and is skilled at just about every kind of repair or installation around the house that you could imagine. He’s patient and intent on doing a high quality job. He’ll be the one we call when we need more work done.

It couldn't have gone any better. Mr. Floyd is awesome when it comes to fixing things. His knowledge is superior to any other handyman I've met. If he isn't sure about something he throughly does research to make things work again. I really am impressed with him. He's very trustworthy!

Gave me a call when he was about to arrived. Showed up on time, took a look at the things we had discussed, and went to work. He finished very quickly and let me know any details of what he had done. The railing is now fixed and it's now secure to use again.

John is a most diligent technician, he is creative, innovative and patient enough to try something new when it is needed. I appreciated his resourcefulness and especially his being on time as promised. He is easily first on my list of excellent people to call when something needs fixing in our Century City home.

I have used John many times in the past. I needed someone to show up at a rental unit to do some emergency repair for my tenant on a Sunday. John dropped everything and went to support my tenant. He is very intelligent and does a good job. He is fair priced and cleans up after his work. I am always happy to recommend John. It's a pleasure doing business with him.

The job went really well. John showed up on time and was really professional. He explained how things could be done, and, with the floor tile, he gave us two options for repairing it. The thing I really appreciated was that he was neat, keeping his tools on a drop cloth and he cleaned up as he worked. I have used him before and will definitely use him again.

We bought a special deal through Angie's List for 8 hours of labor with John. We had a list of miscellaneous that were just beyond our DIY skill level, including: 5 drywall holes to be repaired, replacing 2 shower heads, replacing mineralized hoses on our washing machine, installing eye bolts on our balcony, and replacing a bathtub faucet. I thought it would be more than John could do in 8 hours, but I was happily wrong. First, John was responsive and professional. He replied to my Angie's List query right away. He came by the house ahead of time to go over our to do list. Scheduling a day for the work was not difficult and John was very communicative about everything in general. The work was very well done, John is clearly a professional and a perfectionist. He even offered to fix a few other minor problems he noticed for free while he was there. Beyond that I would just add that John is friendly and strikes me as being very honest. We have already asked him to come back for more work. In sum, I highly recommend him.

Needed to demo some of our back yard patio and then install a playscape for our granddaughter. John got the job done very well, was professional, on time, on budget, etc. Also like John's sense of humor and friendly personality. I've used him before and will use him again.
