The electrical wiring was a fire hazard waiting to happen. Thankful for John. John is very casually dressed but a master when it comes to electrical issues. He's been working with electrical since a teenager. While he is casually dressed he is a neat freak. He has done quire a few jobs for us since December and always cleans up as he goes. I love this about John. He also treats everyone he meets with a smile, so he has a great bedside manner. That's refreshing. He's provided services for both our home and our church facility. We recommend John Maddox Home Repairs with complete confidence.

Over the weekend I discovered the piping coming from my washing machine was leaking and causing my laundry room to flood every time I did a load. I have used John before, so I called and he came out as soon as he could schedule me in. Not only did he remove the drywall, replace the leaking pipe and replace and re-tape the drywall, he also went under the house (in a nasty crawl space) to verify that I didn't have any other leaks. If you are looking for a fancy service man in a spiffy uniform, this isn't your guy but, if you are looking for a great handyman that can fix almost anything, I highly recommend John.

John is "old school" if you know what I mean. He not only does what he says he will do but goes above and beyond what you expect at a reasonable rate, not the cheapest but also not expensive. You get what you pay for. He showed up on time (he hates being late, love this about John) and worked on the weekend. <br /> He is one of those guys that knows how to do everything. He's in his late 30's but learned on the field at an early age as a child so he brings a wealth of knowledge over 2 decades. <br /> John has done several jobs for us I plan on providing those reviews as well. <br /> While John has his fingerprints on several major construction projects throughout the state of Indiana, he doesn't come across as arrogant but you can tell he really enjoys solving people's home handyman and remodeling problems. <br /> To be honest, I almost hate rating him as I know as soon as others discover what he can do he will likely not be as available schedule wise to us, but with his work ethic, skill, experience, and looking out for his customers, it's hard not to be a fan of John's and let others know about him.
