Johnson Painting Repair

Dissatisfied with the results and he used wrong techniques to remove the stain on the door. My wife is very familiar with the steps needed to remove the stains and he did not apply conditioner on the door. Inconsistent results and I need someone else to redo the project. The reason we used Angi was because of our ability to review the process correctly and we do not want any confrontation.

This owner and company iare a nightmare. I am upset with myself for not firing them the first day that they came to work. During the estimate and hiring interview this owner, Patrick Johnson, stated that his company was very professional and that he was very good at what he did.  This was a bald faced lie. Mr. Johnson  arrived at my home 3 hours late the first day. He had one worker with him, who turned out to be a day laborer who was definately not a professional painter. They  used old blankets with peeling paint for drop clothes and when I stated that they were not acceptable, he managed to find some paint splattered used plastic. The work was done piece meal and on the first day he told me that he had been wrong when he did the estimate, that one section of drywall in the office had to be replaced. I had been waiting for weeks to have the blown insulation replaced in my attic. I had it done on the weekend before Mr. Johnson started to paint. I had been suffering without adequate air conditioning  in 95 degree heat because of a lack of insulation in the house. Now he pulls down the ceiling and the insulation falls out. He then went to my attic and tramped all over my freshly  blown insulation and it turns out that he just happened to be working in the area where my satellite TV and Computer wires were. Both of these machines were not working correctly after they were done. I had to have 2 service calls to fix the wiring.  He was constantly argueing with his worker. He pulled down a small shelf in my garage and broke several items which I later found swept into a trash can at my neighbors house. He never told me about the dam,ge. He also left THREE large gouges in my walls that he never repaired. There were paint chips and drops on my television screen and my floors.  The workmanship was such that I am sure that I could have done a better job myself.  Do not hire this company or individual,who, by the way runs an advertisment in the Huntsville Times offering his services, unless you want the same kind of home repair fiasco that I experienced.
