They come out twice a month. The mow, trim hedges and spray flower beds. They are kind of high.

Kornell was prompt and professional. He came to the house to describe what he and his crew could do do fix a major run off/drainage problem we had in our back yard. He emailed an estimate for the work and after we accepted his offer, he got to work. It has been a year since the job was done and our backyard looks like a park. A couple of weeks after completing the work, Kornell stopped by just to check on how the sod was doing. Great service and great work! <br />

I work full-time and, although I like being out in the yard, I just don't have time for maintenance. <br /> Over the 14 years I've lived in this house, I've been through more lawn service companies than I can count. Payment was always a problem since I'm not home during the day. The biggest problem was with companies who were not dependable. Either I would have to call to remind them that the lawn needed mowing, or they just disappeared one day without a call or explanation. <br /> All my problems have been solved with Johnson's Lawn Service. Mr. Johnson came out to give me an initial estimate back in early spring and on the first visit to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Since then, his crew arrives every two weeks like clockwork and does an excellent job in keeping my yard presentable. Mr. Johnson took my credit card information on his first visit and charges my account after each visit. <br /> Every business should be run in such a professional, organized manner. If you need a dependable, honest landscaping company, you can count on Johnson's Lawn Service to meet your needs. <br /> I am relieved of the burden of maintaining my yard. Kornell was one of only two companies to even bother calling me back to give me a quote. His quote seemed fair and he took the time to answer all of my questions about the service. When it came time to do the actual install, the delivery was really messed up (my side, not his), but he remained calm and helpful and helped work through the situation. It was a pleasure to work with him and I would definitely do so again in the future.

He did a great job! This was the first person I used from Angie's List. He was very prompt when he said he would come by and give me a quote. I liked his personality and he was nice. His quote was very precise. I was not able to be home for the work and he was able to come by, take photos of the completed work, and sent them to me. When he got up there, he realized there was more work than he thought needed to be done and he still honored his quote. I highly recommend his services.

This company began doing lawn maintenance work on our home's 1.5 acre lot in early 2011 and the work is continuing into 2012. The $50 fee for each visit includes basically just mowing the lawn and tidying up (work that can be done in about an hour by one person). Other work such as raking up pine straw and edging the driveway cost extra (presumably because they require additional time and/or persons). When we first initiated the lawn service, the company responded promptly to our request for an estimate and we are satisfied with how the work is being done. Our only caveat is that we think raking and edging are "basic" lawn maintenance tasks that should be included in the $50 fee. However, overall we are satisfied and we continue to use the company.

I did use this company in the fall and they were supposed to come back in March which they never did. He did clean up in the fall and I signed a contract to also begin regular service in March. To be fair I haven’t called him, I kept waiting for him to show up, it’s April now time flies. I have signed a contract, he didn’t honour it. I decided to go with him because initially it was the reviews I read, I was looking for the service and he responded quickly and was very nice. The work was done. He did a good job. He and his crew were very polite prompt and good price, but he didn’t come back. It was a big clean up. He did the lawn and yard clean up; there were lots of leaves and stuffs like that. He didn’t follow up through in the spring.

I have been a Johnson's Lawn Service customer going on three years now and I see this relationship continuing into next season. They have always done a good and prompt job. They also go out of their way to make sure the little things are taken care of, such as move the garden hose before mowing and take the time to straighten the solar lights that line the walk way. <br /> <br /> They are the best lawn service I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I highly recommend them.

Though we had some problems getting together, due to circumstances, once the project was underway it went almost without a problem. What small problems arose were dealt with quickly and proffesionally. The area was left tidy every night, and Kornell was always available. When we had an especially hard rain soon after it was installed, a phone call was all that was needed to get them back to repair the damage. We were given a quote before the job started, and even though it took a couple of turns during and after the work, we were never given any additional costs. We are so pleased we have asked for another quote for another job.

Over all it went well except the evergreens did not reflect the the ones that were shown on the artistic sketch of the job to be done. Added an extra $150 for fill dirt after the fact. I sent a money order for that amount and was told it was never received. I had to pay $5.75 to put a trace on the postal money order and the trace revealed that it was deposited by the company. Was told that he would check his receipts. Have yet to receive an apology for their mistake. I feel the receipts should have been checked prior to me tracing the money order.

I called this company to get my lawn cut. The technician started asking me questions about other services such as hedge trimming and lawn treatment. Although I had not called them regarding these other services he offerred to do an estimate on these additinoal services as well as an estimate on cutting the lawn. Since the yard really needed some work I ageed to having these estimates done. He said that he would come on Monday and since I was working that day we agreed that he would send me the estimates via email. I asked him if he would at least cut my front yard while he was there. He said that he would and I could do the payment over the phone by credit card. On Monday he came as expected and cut my front yard. He called me to see if I was satsfied with the work and to take care of the payment. I told him that the work was fine and paid him. I am still waiting for the estimates for the hedge trimming, lawn treatment, etc...!!!! Why bother me with asking whether I want estimates on work that I never asked for in the first place and then not deliver? So although he cut my grass, I consider that he did not complete the job that was agreed upon. Also he charged me 1.5 times his normal rate for cutting the grass because it was supposedly very hard to cut. Really?

Mr. Johnson came over a few days earlier to give me an estimate. He didn't park on our driveway because he had a trailer behind his truck and did not want to mess up our yard. He parked on the grass across the street and ended up getting stuck! He and his worker got busy trying to get the truck out. I was impressed by his patience. Someone else would have been steaming! Anyway they finally got it out after about 15 minutes. I really had a good first impression of them and my husband who was home when they came to work really liked them too. They did a good job.

I called and requested an estimate for the work that I wanted done. Mr. Johnson set a date and called the day of to let me know he was on his way and arrived 15-20 minutes within the time frame. After giving me the estimate we decided to go ahead with the first phase of the work that day. He and his crew promptly started and completed the work quickly. We set the next date (end of the week) for the completion of the work. Again, they arrived promptly and finished the work thoroughly to my satisfaction. It was a very positive experience. Mr. Johnson was friendly but very polite and professional about his work. He was very responsive to my inquiries and took time to explain everything (including future things that I would like to have done). He and his crew were punctual and definitely went the "extra mile" to ensure that the yard looked good. Not only will I continue to use their services but will also recommend them to others.

It went very well. I spoke with Kornell 2 days prior to them coming out today, and was very pleased with the quick response time. The last time our yard was serviced by them (and at all) was September 2010 so I was extremely happy with the final cost. We set up continued service starting next month and look forward to it. I highly recommend using them!

There was some initial slowness hearing back from Kornell because he was out of town. It was about 4 days from the time I submitted a request through his website (his phone voicemail box was full) before I heard from him but once I did he was apologetic and very responsive from that point on. Aside from that minor setback things went great. His estimates were accurate. I spent more money than I was planning but I didn't get estimates from others so I don't really have a basis for comparison. That being said, the finished product was very nice and worth the price in my opinion. I think had I found a company with lower prices, the work might not be as high quality. My yard looks ten times better and everything was done in an extremely timely manner. Kornell was great to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to hire his company again or recommend them to a friend.

It went very well. They were a little bit behind for the day from a previous client, but that didn't matter to me. The gutters were in poor condition since we've only lived here a month and who knows the last time they were actually cleaned. Kornell explained how they had to clean them and where the bad parts were on them. They were in and out very quickly. The front yard looks great and was thankful they did the blowing as well. The yard was $50 and the gutters were $120 since they were such in bad shape. We will be on a monthly maintenance schedule with them until the spring. Our monthly maintenance will be at $50 each month which is very reasonable for my roommate and me.

I called and talked to kornell. He sat up an appointment. After observing the work that needed to be done, he quoted a price for the initial maintenance and a price foe continued service. ON August 15 the work was completd.

I have used them before and their service was good. They are very professional and it was well worth the money, the price was actually cheaper than I expected. They are very hard workers. I did have to call them twice, but once they got out it was fine.

Estimate over the phone. I changed the schedule twice and he was very accommodating. They showed up on time and worked quickly even though they were going to get paid by the hour. They do quality work because they care about the work they do.
