This was the best service I have ever received from a HVAC company. The guy worked on my furnace for over an hour until he fixed it. It ended up costing for the service call only due parts not being added to the furnace. He was very personable and did a great service for me. I will always use this company for my needs in the future.

They did not waste any time knowing we were about to get clobbered with a storm and we needed a solution. Assessed the situation and we discussed options. They appeared honest and straightforward. Cost did not include cost of new appliance, which I bought locally and had them install.

Only reason I am giving them one star is because it won’t allow me to do -5. This is the most unprofessional and untrained heating and cooling company I have ever used. We had a Mitsubishi Mr.Slim unit that stopped cooling and was dripping water down the wall. Johnston Heating and Cooling came out and said it was low on refrigerant and that caused the evaporator to freeze and leak water. I was curious how it would freeze without refrigerant and even if it did there is a tray connected to a drain to catch water from the evaporator, but I didn’t say anything and I let him refill it and then it cooled. However, the unit continued to leak water. So I decided to take the cover off (the guy also didn’t know how to remove it so he broke a piece on the bottom to look inside it) the unit was leaking due to a refrigerant line that wasn’t wrapped and the condensation was dripping off of it so I wrapped it and that fixed the problem. About a month later the unit stopped cooling again, so I called them back. This time two guys came out and again they didn’t know how to remove the cover so I had to show them. They said they noticed corrosion around a pipe on the evaporator that was leaking and they had to contact Mitsubishi for something, but they had extended wait times. It has been two weeks and they ignored my text and have still not called. This company is a joke and I highly recommend using any company besides Johnston Cooling and Heating.

The inspection went very well. The technician called to inquire if he could come early and I agreed that would work for me. The technician was very professional and courteous. He found that our system was in good shape and not in need of any repair. We plan on scheduling them to come in the fall to inspect the system before old man winter comes calling. I also noted on their website that they provide duct cleaning services and we plan to schedule Johnston Heating and Cooling to perform that service for us as well.

The technicial was professional, courteous, and timely. He did a fine job, ensuring the heatpumps were ready for the summer cooling season. We've used them in the past and have always been happy with their work. We will continue to use them in the future.

Was told no issues were found so hopefully will have plenty of cool air this summer. I called this company before to take care of an issue during the winter and they were right on with taking care of me then as well. Jason explained what he needed to do and all went well then too.

Jason Johnston and his staff were, and always have been, professional, more than competent and trustworthy! We had a major issue with the installation of our wood burning furnace by another local company, as well as that same company completely messing up our heat pump. We were left flat with a tremendous mess on our hands. I found Johnston's company and he came in and actually took the time to look over the specs for the system and worked with us to get it straight. We have had to have him return for that system several times, for things that were our fault not his, and he has always been prompt, attentive to our concerns and fair and honest in his dealings with us. We highly recommend you consider hiring this company for your HVAC needs.

Furnace stopped working on New Years day. When we called, someone actually answered the phone and offered to send out a repairman that day with no holiday charge. We had backup heat, so we waited until the next day. Came on time, very professional, diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repair. Also checked over the whole unit to be sure there were no additional issues. We've used them before and referred others to them, all with good results.

Excellent! I got an immediate automated message when I downloaded the vendor list. Jason responded within 5 - 10 minutes after I emailed my problem (this was around 11:00 PM on a Sunday by the way). I explained my situation and an appointment was set for Monday morning. Will and Nick showed up on time and were professional - courteous and conscientious! They knew exactly what they were doing - troubleshot my problem quickly. Also, compliments to whoever manages their digital marketing program because it really stands out relative to their competitors.

.The person's that have been at my house have been very professional. They diligently work and showed me things I needed to possibly do. I call them for one thing but they check everything and that's what I love about them. They just didn't leave it at the one thing that I needed done. They checked the whole system, the pipes that come from the machine to the house.
