Jones JSR Roofing

After the last storm, most of our front rain gutter tore away from the roof line and fell to the ground. We called Ron Jones and he came to our house and gave us an estimate the same day. Later in the day he called to say his crew would replace the gutter the next day. They found a problem causing them to use straps that nailed into the roof to hold the gutter in place, and Ron did not charge anything extra for using them. The old gutter was removed and we were very happy with the new gutter. I would definitely hire JSR again and would recommend them to others.

Ron Jones came to do the estimate when he said he would, returned every phone call, brought the proposal exactly when he said he would, and came to do the job promptly. He kept his word! He had a good system for keeping the old roofing mess contained, and his workers picked up around the house despite some nuisance juniper bushes. The job was completed in three days (if that), and best of all the roof has done a perfect job of keeping out every bit of moisture--a huge relief during the rains this past year as well as all the snow. This was the first winter we didn't get huge icicles hanging off the eaves troughs! And, too, the roof looks great; Ron Jones was very patient with us early on in the process when we debated over colors and roof shingle companies. In our case he did excellent work at the most reasonable price. When he left, he said that he'd come back "anytime" to fix whatever might need fixing on the roof should there be a problem. He kept his word on that, too, returning to fix a tiny problem with one of the gutters. He's honest and trustworthy and a great roofer. If we had another roof to fix, we'd hire him in a minute. <br />

They did an excellent job. There were on time. The 5 man crew , including Ron Jones, knew their job. The cleaned up the yard and driveway. I would recommend to any one. <br />

<ul> <li>Ron came over 15 minutes after I called for an estimate. We discussed what might be needed and he gave me 2 estimates based on whether the facia might need to be replaced. This occurred on a Thursday. By the end of Saturday, the work was finished. Ron is <strong><em>completely</em></strong> <strong><em>honest</em></strong>. He discouraged me from having work done that was not necessary. The appearance of the gutters and rear of the house is excellent. Also, he replaced 5 inch gutters with 6 inch gutters and put in larger downspouts. Since only part of the facia needed replacing, he charged me the lower quoted amount for the work. Ron Jones runs a very honest business, and is very experienced. His prices are very reasonable! I strongly recommend Jones JSR roofing to anyone who is looking for roofing work.</li> </ul> <br />

Job was done quick and they are good guys.  Obviously they have a lot of experience I was very happy with the whole process. <br />

Ron comes off a little rough around the edges, but make no mistake he is a professional that will not skunk you. One guy tried charging us 600/sq ft, Ron came in at 400. One guy said I'll be doing about 30 Sq ft, Ron calculated 24. He will not do you wrong. He was done in about two weeks with bad whether. Beautiful job in every way. I almost feel guilty for not agreeing to a higher price. That's saying something. I will use him for snow removal and anything he tells me he can handle.

After quite a long wait, we were quite pleased with the service. They arrived on schedule, did the entire roof in one day, left nothing behind, not even one nail. Pleased with the person in charge, very personable.

It went great. He came exactly when he said he would. He efficiently did the work. Cleaned up and left. Easy as pie. <br />

He came over to look at the job the day I called; gave me the estimate and made arrangements to come the following day to do the work. Completed the job in a timely and efficient manner and cleaned up very well. I would definitely use them again. <br />

He is extremely honest and we had panicked because we had paid him in cash and we lost our receipt and he didn't have the records that we paid at first. He research, came to it and it was all resolved. His prices are about right but they were competitive enough that we chose him and price was definitely a factor. But in comparing the quality of the service offered with the price he was the most reasonable. He was not the lowest because there was something that we could tell that we are going to cut corners but when it came to the work that he did, he was the most reasonable. And there were also some problems he encountered that another company might have charged more when they encountered those things but he didn't so we were very happy.

I can't say enough good things about this contractor. He was prompt, courteous, diligent, and didn't leave even one nail in the lawn. If you want a great roofer, call him. <br />

Went as planned and expected.

He was great. I called a couple of people, but he came over because I had leaks. He said this is your problem and showed me that I needed double flashing. He was very detailed and walked around back and found the same problem in the back. He showed me the house next door and how they had the same problem too. I actually did have leaks in the back so I understood it. He gave me a price of $7,800. He asked if I wanted to repair the front leaks or the whole thing and I said you might as well do all of it. He said that as he tore the roof off he would let me know if he ran into any problems. In the front he did run into a problem because the boards underneath in the front were all wet. He had to take them all off and replace them and he told me how much more it would be, and that was fine. I called them the other day to tell them how nice it was to only see the rain on the outside.
