Based on the work that was done at my home between April 17, 2025 and April 21, 2025, I strongly recommend Jopat General Contracting (JPC) and in particular John Oke . JPC is based in Aubrey Texas (940–202–0103) and John is one of the three co-owners. I discovered JPC through a search on Angi. I wanted a recommendation for help in the next two days. John replaced three burned out LED light fixtures in our kitchen ceiling. Intricate wiring had to be sorted out and prepped before new LED light fixtures could be wired in. We also had multiple problems in our master bathroom requiring a diagnosis and replacement of a malfunctioning shower head and tub faucet. We also needed shelves for a corner of that bathroom. John showed up on time on three occasions and kept us informed with texts and verbal explanations. He had to make multiple trips to a Home Depot in Roanoke for needed supplies because of problems he discovered. There was no additional charge for those trips beyond the original estimate. I doubt he anticipated that multiple trips for supplies would be needed but he never tried to assess an additional charge. I've gone into this detail to explain why I feel like strongly recommending John and JPC. In short, I feel like the work was well done and reasonably priced and done efficiently with multiple problems diagnosed and fixed. Alan Laufman

I recently hired John to install a large mirror, and I couldn’t be more impressed with his work. Despite the mirror having a manufacturing defect, he skillfully positioned it perfectly, making it look flawless. He did several other projects. His expertise was evident from the start—he knew exactly what he was doing, worked efficiently, and completed the job quickly without compromising quality. Beyond his skills, he was also extremely responsive and professional, ensuring everything was done to my satisfaction. Had an unbelievable experience with this service. I needed to have a floating shelf lowered and a tv mount installed on my interior brick wall. Not only was everything executed perfectly they were also able to fit me in within 24 hours of my request.

Excellent. John was very prompt and definitely experienced in what he was doing. He did a great job in not only repairing my weatherstripping but also aligning my door. He also did a paint touch up job on my door. I highly recommend him and will use him again.

The installations were professional and quick. He took measurements, found the studs and advised on the height and viewing angle. The mounts were perfectly centered and height adjusted. I recommend this contractor and will hire again.

Everything was great! John was very responsive and flexible in speaking with me about my items in need of repair in the evening hours. We settled on 8AM next day for an on-site inspection of the items in question to provide a quote. John arrived after the scheduled time; however, he promptly notified me of the delay and called upon arrival which I appreciate. John was thorough, timely in completing repairs, and took great care while in my home to leave it better than he found it and followed COVID protocol in wearing a mask. I will definitely be calling on Jopat General Contracting for future projects.

Excellent Work!

John called within an hour of my request and arrived within 30 minutes after that and had the job done within an hour. I consider myself very fortunate and lucky that I found him. He had to remove some screws, straighten out all the bent metal pieces, and then put everything back together again, and get the window adjusted so that it operated correctly.

Very well. Very heavy mirror hung high above our fireplace. Very professional service with true pride in workmanship. Pleasure to work with too.
