He did siding, roof pavers and he did a vegetable that was done illegally and my steps that went over to City line buildings department came and gave us fines totaling over $20,000. I want that money back

I took several estimates for the roof and gutter replacement job (including the tear down of existing roofing) and the Joseph Galante Contracting Co. came in with the best price by a large margin (thousands $$!) Not only did Joe and Carlos explain the scope of the job patiently and thoroughly, they and the crew came and completed the job efficiently and true to the estimate. Afterward they cleaned up the property very nicely. Huge improvement to the house, thanks again!

Joe was a pleasure to work with despite the fact I never met him. His workers were finishing my next door neighbor's roof and I called him on the phone to ask if they can do mine. The next day my roof was finished! He was a man of his word when he promised he would send me all my necessary paperwork regarding his information and the roof work guarantees when he got back from vacation. I received it in a few days with no problem. Joe is very knowledgeable about his business and I would recommend him if you need any work done.

Replaced the roof in one day. Looks like excellent work. Reasonable price. Easy to reach to a contract. From first contact to quote to contract to work completion was a little more than a week.

Siding was done, gutter guards were paid for and never installed. I am not sure if they broke the gutters, however there is a lot of ice on the side of house creating a dangerous area in my driveway. I paid by check for the first week and then every week thereafter he made me pay cash. I have text message confirmation of the payments. He starting installing the 1/2 bath the week ending 11/28 and the sink moves and the tank to the toilet moves. There are cracks in the wall and it isnt finished. Again, he only told me what he was buying and said he would send receipts and itemized lists and I said its ok, I know you will get it to me. This never happened and I havent seen much of these items. This contractor was paid every week on time in cash. Nothing is finished, my house has dangerous jagged edges and yesterday I finally became aware of the price I was charged for the kitchen cabinets. It was absolutely inflated well over what I should've paid. I had no idea of a cancelation policy or even when they were going to be installed. So, when I attempted to cancel them, I was told they were going to be delivered Wednesday 12/17. In my defense, I had no idea this was possible because the plumbing work still hadn't been done in order to install the cabinets. I was prepared to work.with the cabinet company and the contractor until today 12/16 when they both started threatening me and the contractor was calling me names. He was texting me a final.agreement and we were discussing the project and he had simultaneously told his workers to take everything and leave. Again, he left me without a kitchen, the floors are severely jagged and there are jagged edges on the stairs that has already made my brother bleed. When I asked for different doors because I needed wooden doors because the door frames are misshapen, he told me that, he doesn't put that door in a semi attached house. It is only used in million dollar homes. Please review the attached file of photos that includes the text conversation from today. The last text he sent was that he was closed for business.

He immediately figured out how to get the roofing job done quickly for me. In less than a week I had a new roof. Joe addressed all my concerns and his workers were reliable and worked hard to finish the job in one day. I would highly recommend Joe Galante. He is honest and his price was the best.
