I have worked with many contractors throughout the years. I would definitely rank James one of the top contractors I have worked with. My wife was very picky about the color. James went out of his ways and adjusted color several times for us. His crew is very professional, keeping the surrounding very clean. They did great quality work! I’ll be definitely working with James again.

I used JPP a few years ago to paint the exterior of my house. They did a great job at a very fair price. Great staff. Recently, I had them repair & paint several ceiling cracks throughout the house as well as touch up areas on the exterior of the house. Upon inspecting the completed work, I thought one additional area was to have been repaired/painted... but admitted that I could be mistaken. Since this would require a return visit in addition to the work, most would have been reluctant to do anything with no additional cost. However, James didn't hesitate to return and make sure the work was done. In my opinion, it's when there's a problem/misunderstanding that you really see how someone treats customers. Definitely recommend.

James and his crew were very professional in all aspects of their work. The foyer and hallways involved changing color of the chair rail molding, crown molding and doors. Multiple coats of paint (as well as primer) were required. All of the ceilings had been sand coated which we wanted removed. This was a massive effort involving sanding, applying compound, primer, and then paint. It came out looking fantastic. The crew provided some woodwork repair along the way as well. The crew was hard working and produced high quality work and cleaned up prior to leaving every day.

Overall went ok but owner is a little sensitive and at one point midway in job asked if we wanted him to finish job when I menttioned his workers were not on job for a good part of the afternoon,

Best paint job and nicest, most professional work crew we’ve had in 30+ years! Our house needed quite a bit of prep work and James went out of his way to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the results.

The work went great! The duration of the project was about a week. We were not in a hurry and I scheduled the July work back in June. The original date scheduled was pushed back a week or so and that is the only reason for the B rating on punctuality. Again, we were not in a hurry so it didn't affect our thoughts on James.

I’ve been through home renos and I've had a house built from scratch, so I have had my share of contractor experiences, both good and bad, but there's never been one as top-notch as James Pallarino Painting. I visited several other NC paint jobs he was working on before hiring him. I interviewed 7 well-rated painters. James’ price was fair – dead center. And it's great that James is local, living a mile from my house. James was on site typically twice a day, the crew was diligent, professional and very accommodating. I have severe chemical allergies (& was undergoing medical issues) as well as a large organic vegetable garden (which is located right up against a house wall) which they took extraordinary steps to protect. They built the garden a custom 12’ tall wood & plastic cover and executed the sanding under a giant blue tarp hung from the rooftop during a heatwave to prevent fine particle drift into my garden and home interior. The job included significant detailed work of changing all the windows/storms from brown to white as well as sanding half the house down to bare wood to correct a previously poorly prepped paint job and its evident waves of unevenness. James was helpful and patient through my difficult time finalizing paint colors. He was always available to speak with and worked with me on mutually optimal scheduling. His carpenters have been with him over 30 years and were quite efficient, reasonably priced and even repaired recently made mistakes by a lousy deck contractor. The crew were such diligent, caring, hard-working skilled professionals that I was inspired to find them at their next job yesterday to tip all of them. They were courteous, friendly, answered all my questions (in solid English) and cleaned up impeccably each day. You can’t go wrong with choosing Pallarino Painting — just book him early or he will fill up. My neighbors who watched the project are already calling him. A+ all the way.

I could not have wished for a more perfect experience. James and all of his workers were consummate skilled professionals, who were conscientious, thorough, and efficient in their work, as well as being very cordial and pleasant to deal with. The price was very fair and reasonable as well! James and his workers have earned my highest possible recommendation!!!

I have nothing but good things to say. The estimate was done in a timely manner and when I decided that I wanted to go ahead with the job everything ran smoothly. The job was completed in one day and I am very happy with the end result.

Crew was able to start ahead of schedule, did an amazing job, matched paint spot on and paid attention to detail.

Prompt, courteous, and the guys did an amazing job. It looks better than it ever has.

While other painters said it was too cold and too late in the season to paint, Pallarino said there was still time. I checked. Pallarino got it right. We were still within the recommend temperature range for the Benjamin Moore stain we were using. It was not too cold to paint as other painters had claimed. Pallarino's crew showed up as promised on time. They worked quickly. They repaired and replaced rotted siding. They cleaned up. When the scope of work changed -- we switched out doing one thing for another -- they did not take advange or charge more when other companies would have seen an opening to jack up the price. They stuck to the original estimate. They do quality work with attention to detail. I highly recommend them as painters you can trust because hey earned our trust. Big time.

James' crew first painted the bedroom and then power washed the house as expected but rain delayed the outside painting for a few weeks - once the job was started it took about a week and the house looked good and the grounds were spotless. <br> <br>James even coordinated with the gutter company to replace our 21 year old butters. <br> <br>This is the third or fourth time that we have used James to paint the inside of our home and the first time for the outside - we continue to rely on him and recommend him highly to others.

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism and attention to detail the crew did.. We are in the middle of a small remodel and James and his crew accommodated a tight time schedule and a house in different stages of accessibility One "oops" occurred and it was quickly addressed and corrected. It was a pleasure to have them at the house!!!!

James was excellent.  He took the time to answer all my questions during his initial visit and in subsequent conversations.  It was clear he was more knowledgeable and pointed things out that no one else had noticed or bothered to mention.   James was professional, very responsive to any special requests, and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the work.  James's crew was top notch.  The guys were punctual, hard working, clean, and professional.  We had some detailed carpentry work that needed to be done and they did an excellent job.   I plan to use J. Pallarino painting again for future needs. 

I highly recommend James. <br /> This is the second time in as many years that we have had James in to paint parts of our interior.  From the appointment to quote to the prep and finish work and the clean up, he and his crew are real professionals.  We were living in the house while the bedrooms were being painted and it was important not to have dust and debris all over and we had absolutely no problems.  The quality of work was top notch. <br /> James is a real gentlemen and was always on time for all appointments - he completed the job in late february and I asked for a quote on the exterior of the house - arrived via email a few days later and addressed everything that we spoke about during the walk around the house.  I will be sending a signed contract to him later this week so that the exterior can be finished before the summer starts. <br /> <br />
