He no showed several times and did not complete anything he started. Broke cedar siding and interior boards while trying to replace outside trim. My sons bedroom window is disassembled still. We paid 2700 for this project and cannot get the money back from him and he wont show up to fix what he broke. i am embarrassed and horrified by hiring this guy. He truly did a disservice to us.

"the reason this job took so long was due to the excessive rain. can't use silicone when it's wet. I offered exchange services and multiple options in which we have spoke in person and over the phone about. the job was switched from sanding down your current windows to replacing all of your windows with new cedar trim and window sills. after cutting all of the material and paying for all of the material you switched it back to simply sanding down all of the windows again. I spoke with you yesterday again. after one month of doing this job weather was excessive. since it's too late in the season I offered your money back and am willing to complete your job in the spring while doing other fixtures around your house in the meantime. I'm a little frustrated [Member Name Removed] that this job was a complete loss for the both of us. your son's bedroom is not in , "dissaray" the interior window sill was previously installed with a bad board that needs to be replaced."

I chose J Palmer based almost completely on his past "A" ratings here on "Angie's List". I am very disappointed; already five weeks have been wasted; and my garage is a mess. In my humble opinion, the ratings for this particular "contractor" on Angie's list are bogus. I am sorry; but I believe in the truth; Buyer beware!

Everything from the moment I contacted Josh went smoothly! Professional and beyond accommodating. Josh went out of his way to do more than asked for and at the end provided helpful tips for the future. I recently had Josh of J. Palmer Home Improvement do some work for me. (Living room and bathroom that were in need of work when I got the house) He did a fantastic job with the drywall and painting and he even did it at a very reasonable cost. I’m glad I chose him over his competitors that would’ve charged more and probably not done as well of a job. He’s the one to go to!
