They were very professional. There was no charge for the estimate. His professionalism and the way he presented himself, I would give them an A overall. His price was on the lower end of everyone else. He didn't go up and look at the roofing, he said he did everything from google search. I wanted him to actually go up and look at the roof. His punctuality was good. Yes, I would use this provider again for an estimate.

The owner, John Peil came with his wife to our home and gave us the best presentation. I had a ton of questions, from differences in shingle type down to what type of nail they used. He answered every single question without the hard pressure sale tactics that others used. He didn't once ask to look at insurance paperwork and had several quotes in writing with him. He was prepared with samples, extremely knowledgeable in the best practices for roofing upheld by the NRCA, and was very easy to talk to. Discussing this project was much more like talking to an old friend.

We are still working out the details and I will update this review once the work is done, but I honestly believe this is the first contractor that I have come across that seems put his customers' interests first and means it when he says that he is "absolutely committed to 100% customer satisfaction".

John Peil is the owner and we dealt with him directly. He was very thorough and detailed. He helped me with Allstate who denied the first claim.
He told me to ask for a different inspector because he felt the inspector who showed up was inexperienced. The second inspector gave us the pass for a new roof due to hail damage. And here I need to credit Allstate who were excellent in the process. Two houses on our cul de sac have been denied by State Farm. And three approved by other companies.
His crew did a great job and cleaned up professionally.
I was not pleased with the spray paint put on my tin in two places so John sent one of his men to replace the tin, no questions asked despite the fact that I did not pay for new tin in the estimate. During the roofing his crew mistook a yard light as solar and tried to pull it up thereby breaking the wiring and the fixture. His crew also didn't replace my gutter guards correctly so I had to call the original installer who charged me $100. John cut me a check for that on the spot when he inspected what had been done. The company that delivered the roofing materials badly messed my driveway. John sent one of his men with a pressure washer the next day.
Overall highly satisfied and I have recommended him to my neighbor who was also very pleased.

They did a good job for me. They did a good job estimate. They did a good job of the clean-up. They were price-competitive and they did good work.

The company installed the US Sunlight Corp fans that we had purchased at Costco. We were referred by the fan?s manufacturer. When we first met with the owner he quoted a price was for installation of the fans according to the manufacturer?s recommendations. He also said that for an additional $50 per fan he would install the AC adapter and the solar control boxes. A date was set up for the installation but on at least 2 days the installers simply failed to show up. After my wife contacted ?John? he said that he had had some workers off sick but promised to come on a Sunday morning. When the workers did come they implied that they were ?subcontractors? for JP Solutions and 2 non English speaking men installed the units. I do not know if they ever went into the attic after the installation but if they did they did not clean up any of the debris that had dropped into the insulation in the attic. They also failed to notice how far off the hole they placed the center fan. The supervisor then also stated that they did not do any electrical work and that we would have to find our own electrician to install the AC adapters.

I also doubt they read the instruction manual as the fans were not installed according to the manufacturer?s directions. Two of the fans were installed on the south facing slope of the house but the third one was placed on the west facing side although it appears that there would have been room on the south side for the third unit. The solar panels are adjustable and should have been angled to pick up the maximum sunlight, but instead they were left lying flush against the units. Possibly even more importantly they were not installed at the correct height. The instructions clearly said to put them 18-24 inches below the roof peak where the heat will be at its maximum.

Our units were installed 4 feet below the peak, significantly diminishing the chimney effect. When we noticed these problems and saw that the fans were not cooling the attic as much as expected we contacted the manufacturer who suggested the fans were not running as fast as they should because of the improper angle of the unit. We contacted the installation company and after several calls were able to get someone to look at the units but as he did not have a ladder he could not adjust the solar panels. After that visit no one has ever returned to adjust the fans. As far as the improper placement of the units not much can be done now short of re-roofing part of the roof.
Response from JP Solutions LLC
"Since this low-end fan was not purchased from JP Solutions, we are not responsible for the mechanical operation of the fan as this is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Regarding the location of the fan, it was installed in the correct location. If you install the fan closer to a ridge vent, it will not circulate the air properly as it will draw air from the ridge vent and not the attic space. Regarding the clean up in the attic, we install the unit on the exterior of the home and do not have access to the attic. We are not responsible for the controller. The customer was never invoiced for this unit. This customer did not communicate or respond to emails. Her comments regarding our Spanish speaking installers are very discriminatory and unwarranted. This customer can not be pleased. Previously a complaint was submitted with the BBB by this same customer and the BBB claim was dismissed in favor of JP Solutions. Due to this experience, we no longer install any items purchased by others. We have worked with over 200 customers in the past year and have a very good rating with both the BBB and Service Magic. More information can be found on our website."

Mr. Peil came out and gave me an estimate. I decided to go with his company because they came the closest to what I could afford. They performed the installation in one day. Mr. and Mrs. Peil were very friendly very professional. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof..

They did a great job. The roof looks great. They finished it all in one day and were unable to completely finish the painting job as it was dark. They promised to come out the following Tuesday to finish the job. I came home from work that Tuesday and they had followed through with their promise. Very happy with their work.
