First time in 40 years I had a Great experience with a contractor! He went above and beyond what I had expected! Arrived everyday promptly, worked continuously for the entire time he was here. So courteous and meticulous. I had absolutely no clean up when they left every day! The work is stunning and done professionally! In addition the price was right on target! I will ,and already have, recommended him to everyone I know! I couldn’t be happier! Thank you again!

After getting a bunch of estimates, I am so happy that I chose John as my contractor. He was such a pleasure to work with and I felt so comfortable with having him and his worker Mike in my home for two weeks. John pays attention to detail and made sure that my bathroom was exactly what I wanted. He went the extra step with all the little finishing touches and was patient with all my asks. He did a complete demo of my very outdated bathroom and built the shower of my dreams, installed radiant floor heating & simply created a luxurious space for me. He shows up on time and is very responsive with his communication and walked me through everything during this project.I love my new bathroom and would recommend John 1000% !!

I am so glad I hired John to redo my bathroom. My bathroom was a total gut and needed to be reconfigured and remodeled. John and Michael did a fantastic job. Our new bathroom is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend them, they are the best!!!

It was great working with John from our first meeting all the way through the last day of renovations. He not only did an amazing job renovating my bathroom, he also made the whole experience non-stressful. He sent me a list of what I needed to buy and included suggestions on good quality items and where to buy them. He gave me a start date and that was the date started on. He showed up every day and let me know what work would be completed that day and he did exactly what he said he would do. He finished the renovations in the amount of time he said he would. His work is high quality. I would definitely use him again.

John and Michael did a wonderful job. They said the work would be done in 5 days and that it was. Did a beautiful work from start to completion. Did a great clean up every day. Would recommend them for this work if anyone would like a bathroom remodel. My neighbor checked it out and are ready to hire them. They also was impressed.

John was both patient and professional throughout the project. Knowing this was my first renovation project he took time to walk me through options until we found on that would work for me. In 3 short days he was able to deliver me my dream bathtub installed and new tile for my shower. Already planning my second bath remodel with him later this year.

I found John on Anji, after interviewing 4 contractor's my whole family and myself felt he was the right person for the job. With over 40 year's of experience and licensed in plumbing and electrical he can do it all. He's got a great personality and Mike his helper was amazing as well. We've lived in our home for 27 year's and the bathrooms needed to be desperately upgraded. We also had no vents in our bathrooms and had mold issues which is not good at all. Here's some before and after pictures, my whole family and friends are blown away at the transformation and I am so thrilled at John's work. He's very prompt and cleans up at the end of everyday, very respectful of my home. A++++

Sometimes a review is so good, it may lose some of it's credibility. I may be risking some of my credibility by telling you that JRB was beyond outstanding from from start to finish. I received multiple proposals and not only was the price excellent, the work and customer service was even better. John (the owner) was on site, working everyday. He mademade some excellent recommendations along the way. To anyone looking for a contractor, you will never regret choosing JRB.

I've never had a contractor work so hard and fast. Monday was a complete gut job. Tuesday was electric, plumbing, insulation and needed carpentry. Wednesday was sheetrock plus wallboard in the shower. Thursday was tile in the shower and spackle. Friday was tile floor finish sanding. Saturday was painting. Monday was installing of toilet, vanity, closet and finish trim. Done, beautiful twenty seven gold stars.

John and Michael were a great team working together to redo two bathrooms. They completed everything as promised, came on time daily, and finished in five days. They?re both very professional, easy to work with, and give a daily synopsis of work to be done. I would hire them again and would give them a 10 out of 10 for a recommendation.

Let me start by saying this the third bathroom John has gutted and recreated for us. I found John on Angie’s list about 6 years ago to renovate a bathroom on our first floor. He was amazing! Turning a tiny serviceable bathroom to a beautiful shower space. In May of 2025 I dug out John number to get him to do his magic again, this time to renovate 2 more bathrooms. One is a giant master bath, the other a small guest bathroom, both with the original decor of 1993! I love John’s process. He comes and listens to your visions then adds his own expert suggestions and provides a quote and a shopping list. When you have all the items in home you let him know and he sets the date for renovation and gives you the timetable which he adheres to. John is exact and meticulous, and works through until finished. He is timely and reliable and a charming presence at 7 am when he religiously starts his days. John was assisted by Mike who was also a meticulous craftsman and in addition a great painter. The end result is nothing short of gorgeous. Our master bath was transformed to the modern era and John’s attention to detail and artful eye creates a masterpiece.

We were very shocked on how efficient and how clean he worked. Wanted to give thanks to JRB and sons for my small 5 x8 bathroom remodel. One of my concerns with the remodel was the ability to keep the toilet in place as long as possible. I am thrilled to say that it was just one overnight that it was not in place. Based on the work that I request, JRB was reasonable priced. John kept me informed each morning what his goals were for the day and he meet each of his goals daily. Very pleased with the results.

Wonderful!! John and his assistant Mike worked non stop they both are very nice and easy to talk to. John did our bathroom back in 1991. His tile work was and is unbelievable. We tried to track him down hoping he was still in business. Well we located him and was thrilled to learn he was. So here in 2025 He just finished up our bathroom again and it looks great. I am beyond pleased with the work that was done at my house by John and his team, so much so that I immediately hired him for my other bathroom! Honestly, exceeded expectations. My wife and I decided to work with John and his team after he did an amazing job with my father in-law's bathroom remodel. John worked fast, clean and efficiently. John was incredibly detailed in getting us prepped for the project. When the work started, he stayed on his quoted cost and, when there were mild surprises with what he found during demo, he was amazing at communicating the issue, the reason it was an issue, the cause of the issue and the options we had for addressing it. I would recommend JRB & Son with the highest praise. I couldn't have imagined a more pleasing experience with something that is often such a hassle to endure. I actually think we caused John more stress with our questions (and barking dogs) than this project caused us (even if he never let it show).
