J's Custom Concrete

The work crew of J's Custom Concrete were very professional and the jobs both exceeded my expectation in price and quality and delivery time.

All three jobs went great.

<p>J's concrete was recommended to us by our landscape company. jim(the owner) said he was the best in the city bar none. from the start, he was late or missed appointments. preparation wasn't done with care. he said road base was to be put everywhere, and leveled and tamped. there were spots that didn't happen. on the day of the first pour, he and his crew made a mess everywhere, got concrete in my neighbors flower bed, and used my wheelbarrow without permission. I had to call them to come clean the wheelbarrow and the flowerbed, and pressure wash my house where there was concrete splashed on it. on the day of the second pour, there was more mess, and the concrete started to crack within several hours after they left. I paid to have the window wells extended, and they started to crack almost immediately too. jim said that it is ok because I didn't pay to have them completely done, and I should live with it.... I have had to get them out several more times to repair cracks and now the back patio is flaking and chipping. he has "patched" it several times. I now have a spotted patio. I have asked to have it repaired properly, or repoured. he wont do it. I want my money back so I can have it redone properly. I paid over 10k and it looks horrible. my front porch drains toward the house, and where he has repaired it twice is still cracking. imagine taking your car to have it painted and you find flaws and cracks I the paint when you get it back. they repair it with a different color, and tell you to live with it. now you have a car that is worth less than when you started. back to the concrete.. I would NOT recommend J's concrete to anybody. after the last "repair" I asked Jim if that is all he is going to do. he said it is done.. </p> <br />

Jim and his crew were a refreshing group to deal with. Very professional and fast and quality minded. If you want excellent concrete work done right, use them.

We just moved in and used them. It’s gorgeous and it’s beautiful. We got a great pricing. When the contractor came out he just had a vision and he explained it to us and he asked if we want to this or that. He was almost like the designer and the doer. He gave us idea as to what may look better. He questioned some of our ideas and he supported others and he gave us some ideas. We are really pleased with the final outcome. It did crack but it’s like hairline fracture. Apparently in Colorado concrete cracks, every contractor who came to our house told us that it would most likely crack. They are just surface hairline crack and they don’t look horrible. They are very attentive to the cracks and then they warned us it will most likely happen. They were super polite and they did it until we were all happy. It’s been a great experience working with them. I feel their quality of work was exceptional. The price wasn’t the cheapest but we got what we paid for.
