Juan Castro Tile

Juan did some extensive wall repair and installed a brand new dividing wall on our top floor. He was responsive, on time, and extremely easy to work with. Would recommend for any job, he can do it all!!

Juan did an excellent job. Best quality of work I’ve had done in ages. Great communication. Great attention to detail. Great care taken of the work area. Juan cut the tile and matched the pattern beautifully and included us in making the choices for tile spacing and layout. I am picky. Super picky. This tile work was perfectly done. I will hire Juan again without question.

He arrived on time, explained the process and completed the replacement of two cracked tiles in 2 1/2 hours. He cleaned the area thoroughly and called the following day to make sure I was happy with the work. I would not hesitate to use him for any future tile project.

Juan just completed a shower remodel project for me. I am extremely happy with the finished project. Juan is thorough and exacting...always taking the necessary time to get the job done right. His prices are reasonable. As with so many construction projects, mine took a bit longer than expected and went a bit over budget...but I felt this was fair as issues were identified once the walls were exposed and we encountered some unanticipated complications. Juan is honest and has great integrity. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Juan Castro made up a lot of excuses in the past 2 1/2 weeks why he couldn?t make his appointments. He used migraines twice to cancel his appointments so I fired him and now will not Use Angie?s list in the future. Sorry

We had trouble finding someone to re-tile our bathroom. I turned to Angi and was contacted by 3 contractors within an hour. Juan was the only one that wanted to come out to look at it in person. That was very important to me, no one wants surprises when starting a project and Juan gave us a very good evaluation of what needed to be done. Juan has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. We hired him to replace the tile floor and remove an old sink in a vanity. The tub surround and vanity are vintage and in great shape so we wanted to preserve it if possible. We were not sure it could be done. Juan was able to remove the old sink without doing any damage to the surrounding tile. Both the floor and the vanity with the new sink look great. I would hire Juan again. He has great communication skills, he is respectful of the house, keeps a clean work site and kept the dust and work from interfering with the rest of the house.

Juan did an incredible job with our guest bathroom remodel. We had worked with Juan on a project before, but this one was much more complex, and the results were better than we could have imagined. His attention to detail is excellent, and he is very thoughtful and creative when discussing options. We will absolutely work with Juan again on future projects!

Juan is a great tile setter and has done multiple beautiful projects for me at high end custom homes in Danville as well as a house in concord. I am a builder and will only use Juan for my tile work.

We hired Juan for our kitchen backsplash and floor tile installation on our kitchen upgrade project. We ended up hiring him for cabinet, countertop, and range hood installation, too! Juan and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. He was prompt, professional, and an excellent communicator. His work and commitment to getting it right came through every day, and he has a very collaborative style. His advice gave us confidence in the decisions we were making about materials and installation. Because our home is 100 years old and has many quirks, we had a few surprises along the way. Juan didn't hesitate to offer up solutions. (He put in 6 shims to level our window sill! Something we didn't even know we needed). Our kitchen turned out better than we could have imagined, and it's because of Juan's commitment to excellence (and patience with us!) that it turned out so well.

Juan did a complete remodel of one of our baths. It was a half bath and now we added a shower. He was professional, on time, and kept us up to date on the progress. He communicated clearly and if there were any changes along the way he made sure we were aware of what needed to be done and why. He did an excellent job and turned a dull old bath into a sleek/modern luxury bath. The space was small so he helped me realize my vision of what I wanted the bathroom to be. It is now my favorite bathroom in the house. I highly recommend Juan! I will definitely be working with him in future home projects. Thank you!

Juan was great and did a terrific job. I needed the grout replaced on my patio. It was not the biggest job but he provided a fair quote and followed through. I would definitely use him again for any tiling work.
