K-Nells Family Painting

This job was to remove textured paint from the ceilings in 3 rooms, approx. 750 square feet. The crew showed up promptly, and took time to prep the entire work area. The job was ~3 days' work, including re-painting the ceilings. After completion, I noticed some missed spots, likely due to lighting in the house. The company promptly fixed the issues I pointed out, and I'm satisfied with the results. Would definitely hire again.

These guys are FANTASTIC! Professional, quick, a pleasure to work with. Jeremiah and Damian are a great team. Kevin provided a very reasonable and accurate quote. Work was great and cleaned up when they left. Don’t hesitate to use them you won’t be disappointed.

Kevin called me back the same day to schedule a visit and give me a quote. He showed up on time, was very thorough and honest. He originally scheduled the work for a couple weeks out due to some remaining exterior jobs they were still working on, but put me on the 'rainy day' schedule. Lucky me, it did rain and they were able to get the job done even sooner than I expected. Jeremiah and Damien did a FANTASTIC job on the bathroom. I can barely recognize it with how good it looks compared to before. Exceeded my wildest expectations. I would highly recommend K-Nells, and will be using them in the future for any painting needs.

Wonderful job! I highly recommend K-Nells Family Painters. He came when he said he would. He did a great job scraping, plastering and painting 2 difficult areas. He left the area spotless. I couldn't have been more pleased!

Kevin is wonderful. He doesn't let any detail go unaddressed, focusing on the quality of the work above all else.

Overall, we are pleased with the work. Kevin and his crew arrived on time every day and worked until about 3pm, leaving the after school and dinner hours to ourselves. He graciously accepted changes to the job and worked around my chair lifts...I am handicapped. The finished walls and ceilings look very nice. However, the job took nearly a month, which was far longer than anticipated, even giving extra time for scraping. The dust and mess were very difficult to deal. Also, there is paint on the carpet and the bathroom sinks, and the brand new toilet lids are scratched beyond repair from dust being ground into them and have to be replaced.

Kevin and team were prompt and professional. They did a great job - finished ahead of time and were easy to work with. I would use them again without question

The entire project went very well.  It was a 3 man team including the Owner Kevin.  We knew what they were working on, how long it should take and what room or rooms would be next.  They were very courteous, sensitive to our needs, minimized the disruption such a project can cause and professional.  All furniture, floors and carpets were carefully protected with plastic sheeting or drop clothes.  The results were excellent, we, our family and friends were very impressed.  The deck looks fantastic and is barefoot safe. One friend, a realtor, asked for K-Nells contact info for referrals. <br> <br>

These guys were totally awesome!!!! I am going to be hiring them again at a later date to do some more work. They were professional, courteous and did all the clean up work. As Kevin said, he treats his customer's home as if it were his own. Please don't hesitate in hiring them, Top quality work and thank you so much guys :)

It went well. Kevin's team was prompt and professional. When I discovered a few areas I wasn't happy with, they came out the next day to remedy. I will be hiring again in the future. "We're not done until you're happy"

Overall they did pretty good job and finished on time. Kevin gave me good estimates , started work right away, and saved my money on paints. I saved 40% on all paints for my basement project. Thanks so much to Kevin and his team.

We are very happy with Kevin's work - he was responsive and always pleasant in all of our communications, and he did an excellent job painting a section of newly constructed wall as well as a complex French door with lots of glass.  He kindly accommodated a change in our job's scope, proposed a very fair price for the additional work, and ran out for extra paint when the supplies we had on hand weren't sufficient.  He was even able to schedule our small job quickly.  We'll definitely be calling again in the future.

Kevin and his crew did a beautiful job with a challenging task. Thanks to last winter's storms, I ended up with water stains on several ceilings, and after settling up with insurance, I had the funds to fix the problem.  I called K-Nells because they've done work for me two times in the past, and I was impressed by their attention to detail, fair prices, and diligence in getting the job done.  They didn't disappoint. Kevin came for the estimate, and explained how the task would need to be done in order to protect my painted walls and furniture.  In fact, the prep work was really more work than the painting itself.  The job took three days, which was much faster than I expected, and the work was done carefully and neatly, and I had absolutely no issues. And when I asked Kevin for advice about what type of paint I should buy to cover the interior of my front door, when I got home from work that day I was pleasantly surprised to see that he painted the door for me, at no additional cost. All in all, it was a great experience, and I have every intention of calling K-Nells the next time I'm ready to paint another room.

Although I was originally told that the paint job couldn't be done until November  because of K-Nells schedule, they offered to put me on their "rainy day" list and the job was completed before October 1st! As promised, they called the day before (because it was going to rain), showed up exactly on time with extra help (3 workers) and did the entire job in one day. By the time I got home from work, the living room and kitchen had been transformed, the house was clean and even the garage where they had set up was clean. Even the furniture had been put back in place. No paint spatters anywhere.  Amazing! I felt very comfortable going to work and leaving them in the house alone to do the work.  Kevin is great. He came by to view the job and put me completely at ease. Very professional. I would definitely use K-Nells again and would recommend them to others. <br />

Kevin was incredibly professional and his team did a fantastic job! Not only does it look great, but it was completed with time to spare. We did play a little bit of phone tag, but that's to be expected during the busy summer months. He and his wife were more than accommodating to my schedule since I work from home and have a 7 month old. Within two weeks of the walk-through the job was complete. I will definitely be using K-Nells Family Painting in the future and have recommended them to my family and friends. <br />

Kevin (owner) was excellent!  Absolutely will have him back for additional painting and wall papering services.  I called him yesterday.  He immediately returned my call and set up an appointment for today to review the scope of work.  He determined it was a small job for him and he would do it IMMEDIATELY!  Wow could not ask for faster or finer service.  Absolutely will use him again and will recommend to my friends. <br />

We called K-Nell's to give us an estimate for a major painting job on our house. Kevin's estimate was fair and actually much lower than the closest competitor. We paid for the materials and he gave us receipts from the paint supplier for the materials. Because of the complexity of the job, he was here a little while longer than expected. Kevin?s work and work ethic are outstanding, our house looks completely different and new. He stuck to his original estimate when done even though he needed to spend a little longer than originally thought. Kevin was pleasant to have work in the house, a stickler for details and an excellent journeyman in his trade. We were so pleased with the result we compensated him for the extra time he had spent. I would recommend Kevin and K-Nell?s Painting to my family and friends for any painting jobs they needed done. <br />

Everything went much better than expected and surpassed what I had hoped. Kevin and the family are great to work with. My home has a large cathedral ceiling that now looks better than the day we moved in. Other areas needed some drywall  work, which Kevin took care of and after the painting, the results were fantastic.   <br /> The painting is even and super, they came well prepared and know their stuff and delivered quality results. <br />
