He walked our yard on 2 occasions and stated he’d do the work for $5700.00. He stated that he needed to rent equipment and would need $3,000 up front. He promised to begin work on 7/6/22 but didn’t. He’s been unreachable since then.

The provider was supposed to provide his labor only. I was to provide all supplies. He required a 50% deposit and was paid $400 down per Venmo. He never showed up to do the work as scheduled. I contacted him and he stated he had a class to finish. He stated he would complete the job Monday at 8:00am. No call no show. It started to rain at 1:00 and I texted him in the status and he said he wasn’t coming. I requested a refund and I did not get a response or my money back. He has stopped replying to me.
