KAPPUS PUMPS & PLUMBING THE PUMP MAN

Against my better judgement, I called Kappus back two months ago - after a reliability issue last year - when I had too much sediment bring pulled in and clogging my filter. They told me the well needed raising. And then talked me into a new tank. $6000 later they also put in a new pump I didn't ask for and my problem GOT WORSE!! Then they told me to fix the worsening issues, I needed an iron filtration system (another $4500) and were now saying I had a new issue - too much iron. I said yes out of desperation only and decided to do my own research in the meantime. He said he'd call me back the following when the parts came in. 4 days later he called at 1pm saying he could be at my house in two hours. I was working and couldn't do that so I asked for another appointment. He said he'd call in a day or two. In the meantime, since I didn't trust them so I got the water tested myself. No iron!!!! I called back four times and left two messages with the answering service in the last few weeks. No response from the company, no call about another appointment, nothing! I'm out $6000 and my problem is worse! Had two other reputable, big name water and well professionals in the area come in and look at my filter and both said that not only did they install some things incorrectly with the pump - something done intentionally so that the life is shorter - but they said that raising the well in the first place would not have solved the issue and that they know this company and the owner to be somebody who just looks to take money from people and never look back. I'm in credit card debt for this guy. I hope he loses his license. Calling my lawyer and credit card company tomorrow!

New electrical water heater was installed and old one was taken away. Everything went well and works perfectly. Thank you, Paul! Will work with you again

The problem was diagnosed properly and the pump was restarted without any issue.

Replaced the water tank and reconnected everything - All good!

The guys from Kappus arrived as expected around 9:30 in Monday morning.  Instead of driving their truck onto our sod, they were able to bring up the old pump using a device right on the lawn.   While one guy was dealing with the outside, the other was dealing with the new well storage tank and controller.  Having nothing to do with what the guys were working on, when I came downstairs to check on them, I noticed that there was a leak coming from the ceiling in my basement.  I asked them if they could take a look and they found that the condensate line for air conditioner was leaking.  They fixed that as well while they were here - no charge.  Paul and his team were professional, friendly, hardworking and pleasure to have in my home.  I would definitely call them back for other plumbing situations.

Good Guys, arrived quickly and did a good job at a fair price

No water. Thought our well pump died. Called Kappus Friday afternoon. They came Friday evening. well pump control box was fried. They changed it and warned us that it might be a bad pump causing it. $200 and water was running. Saturday no water. Called them and they came Sunday morning at 9am. They said pump had to be changed. Looked like $1600. Ouch. Back Monday morning, started process of replacing pump. They found pump to be good, and some wires shorting. Charged $525 for 3 guys 3 hours. They were polite, courteous and cleaned up everything before they left.

KAPPUS RESPONDED TO OUR CALL FROM OUT OF TOWN (WE WERE ON VACATION). THEY GOT THE KEY FROM A NEIGHBOR, DID THE JOB, AND REPORTED BACK TO US. THEY WERE HELPFUL AND EFFICIENT, AND LET US SEND A CHECK TO THEM VIA MAIL.

I WAS SO RELIEVED WHEN KAPPUS WAS ABLE TO RESPOND IMMEDIATELY. WE WOULD HAVE BEEN WITHOUT ANY WATER. THEY WERE KIND AND UNDERSTANDING WHILE I WAS PANICKING ABOUT MY WELL!

THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE AND RESPOND TO SERVICE CALLS IMMEDIATELY. IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO COME WHEN NEEDED, THEY USUALLY RESPOND WITHIN A DAY OR 2 OF ORIGINAL REQUEST.

THEY WERE PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY REPAIRED AND REPLACED ONLY THE PARTS NECESSARY AND WERE HELPFUL IN FILING WITH OUR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

DAVID KAPPUS WAS A PROFESSIONAL PLUMBER. HIS QUALITY OF WORK WAS CLEAN. HE WAS A LITTLE SLOW, BUT WORK WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER. I HAD A NICE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY

I WAS HAPPY THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO COME SO QUICKLY BECAUSE I NEEDED TO SHOWER AND WASH DISHES. I WAS WORRIED THAT I'D HAVE TO GET A NEW HEATER BUT THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX IT.

THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. HE CAME OVER PRETTY QUICKLY AFTER WE CALLED. HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND THEN SENT HIS CREW OVER TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND CLEAN THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
