Kase Construction LLC were very good. They were prompt and very polite.

The end result of the repair was excellent. Kevin actually came out to the property and personally assessed. After initial assessment, he returned on the dates and times that he said he would and made all necessary repairs. A gentleman and a man of his word. I would use and recommend his services to anyone. <br />

They are so good at what they do that I just watched. It was almost like magic.

I heard about Kevin from another satisfied customer, and found him easy to work with from the beginning.  Throughout the project Kevin worked well with everyone involved.

KASE construction provided us with exactly the kind of patio cover that we had been looking for. All other companies wanted to do traditional tin roof and viga posts that separated our patio into multiple sections. KASE was the only one that proposed a stucco covering that extended across the entire patio, thus not breaking up our view and was the most reasonably priced. The crews arrived promptly, ALWAYS cleaned up after themselves and even repaired a sprinkler head that they broke...even though it was my fault for not having it covered. The workpersonship is fabulous and we are already using it more than we've ever hoped to before. My wife and I will definitely use KASE again when the need arises.

Kevin picked up on our massive remodel/addition project as the general contractor/project manager after our previous general contractor quit in an acrimonious manner and my partner subsequently suffered a massive & debilitating stroke.  Kase Construction picked up the job in August and after consulting with the village building inspector determined what of the previous work needed to be corrected & how to do it in the most cost effective way. They began the bulk of their work in September.   Kevin & crew worked with with a couple of the already established subcontractors, integrating their work into the suddenly bustling construction site.   <br /> <br /> The project moved more quickly toward completion in the four months they worked on it than it had under the previous general contractor in the preceding <strong> year.</strong>  Our goal had been to have the house certified for occupancy by Christmas of 2010.  In the last month of work the construction site functioned like an episode of Extreme Home Makeover.  The crew was professional, worked long hours, and did amazing work.  Kevin was consistently up front with us about the progress, challenges and budgetary issues, always suggesting creative alternatives when we couldn't see how to get through everything.  Throughout, the crew foreman, Ray, rode herd on the workers and kept a really clean & safe work site.  As promised, we got the certificate of occupancy in time to move in for Christmas!  We're so happy with our new home and eternally grateful to Kevin Roady & Kase Construction for making it happen.

I feel Kevin and KASE Construction did a great job! Kevin understood our vision and did a great job of assuring us first time homeowners that everything was going to work out and it did! He was a little sparse with details which, for someone who wants to know every detail of what's going on took getting used too, but, ultimately everything I asked for was done with no hesitation or resistance and my kitchen came out just as I had imagined if not better! I felt very comfortable with having everyone in my home and any issues that came up were promptly addressed. The project also took significantly longer than expected (3.5 wks instead of 2) but this was largely the result of a backup with the coutertop maker. To make it up to us, Kevin and the team came in while we were on vacation and finished the project, plus, he threw in a couple of freebies for us! At the end of it all, we got the kitchen we wanted and came up $100 under what we were quoted, when does that ever happen?! I would highly recommend Kevin and KASE Construction to anyone interested in remodeling and will be certain to use them for any future undertakings. Thanks for making our dream a reality Kevin!

It took over a year to do the bathroom and I am happy with the outcome but I am not happy with the ending of it. I did not like that fact that the length of the completion of the kitchen and remodel. I don't think it is professional to drag it on so long.

Kevin responded promptly to my call for an estimate & was punctual for the appointment.  He listened carefully to all my needs and concerns.  He emailed me the estimate, which was right on with my thinking.  I had gotten some good info from my neighbor which gave me a reasonable ballpark figure.  With the Angie's Lisa discount, I was absolutely delighted with the estimate!  Kevin worked around my own work schedule, and was ready for the job within the week.  He told me who/what to expect & the time frame for completion.  Kevin and his tiler, Robert were at my door promptly, and work began tearing out old carpet & prepping the foundation floor which needed some crack repair.  Robert comes highly recommended, having done quality work in our neighborhood.  There was no need for covering my furniture as Robert meticulously cleaned all dust by hand, not using large sweeping motions that stir up dust.  There was absolutely no dust residue on my stacked dining room area furniture!  Robert is highly skilled and has a keen artist's eye for laying tile...even without spacers.  I have a keen artist's eye also, and his work was excellent.  All of the tile was beautifully cut and laid...I had a smaller tile transition area between the existing tile & the new tile, which took special treatment as there were quite a few angles to be dealt with.  After grouting, Robert washed down the new tile 3 & 4 times to get all of the grout off the tile and smooth it down.  The results is a beautiful, classy look. <br /> Robert is just a wonderful gentleman!  While I went to the store, the trash truck came by while he was out cutting tile.  When I returned, he had brought in my trash can and my recycle bin and stored them away.  An awesome touch, typical of his great upbringing he said.  Robert meticulously cleaned up after each day, and there was absolutely no mess whatsoever...only the beautiful tile work.  Kevin came by to check on the work, and then brought by his handiman, Oscar, to replace the baseboards.  They looked brand new after he was finished. <br /> Friends & neighbors are awed by the beautiful work and new look.  My neighbor was awed by not only the work quality but how clean everything was kept during the process.  He had had tile work done in his home, and he said there was dust everywhere! <br /> I am tremendously pleased with Kase Construction and have already highly recommended them to neighbors.  I am equally happy that I chose to utilize Angie's List to check out prospective workers. Fantastic services all around!

They were prompt on both giving an estimate and performing the work.  They corrected some information that I had been given from another estimate provider.  The patch is good and a decent match to the rest of the wall.  They cleaned up thoroughly.  I would recommend them and use them again.

I've noticed that most of the complaints here about KASE are in reference to difficulty some people have had in tracking down Kevin and getting appointments set up.  He's clearly really busy, and it can be hard to reach him or get a response to emails.  But for us, this is all made up for by the extremely high quality of work he and his team do, and the extremely fair price they charge for their work.   The pipe burst we had caused a great deal of damage, and Kevin was very thoughtful and thorough in the way he approached the problem and the repairs.  Mr Roady is an honest businessman and a nice guy and I think the positive aspects of this company make it worthwhile to put up with having to badger them a little bit to get a response.  We are definitely planning to hire them again in the future.

Kase did a great job, but they often missed dates, like the start date and took almost month longer than originally quoted. There was a part of the job they could not complete because the needed material was not available. They adjusted the cost fairly.

Kevin was professional, courteous, easygoing, responsive, and a genuinely nice guy from the moment he arrived at our home to give us an estimate to the moment the project was finished. Of the three estimates we received, Kevin’s was within the price range we were looking for. This was great because he also left the best impression on us that he was someone we would like to work with. He led us through the project starting with plan designs, to building permits, to completion. From our end there was minimal work or disturbance.

We were unhappy about a month passing between Kevin coming by the first time and then someone coming by and giving us a quote. But we went ahead with the work. The work was to start August 18, 2010, but did not actually start until August 23. The quote said it would take 10 working days to do the job, but it actually took a little over a month. They did run into a problem in that they could not find stone to match existing stonework and we worked out a compromise in witch Kevin gave us a discount. When all was said and done the quality of the work was excellent and the price was reasonable. I would us Kase again, but understanding that the process will take longer than promised.

It all went incredibly smoothly, from initial phone call and estimate to completion of job. I wasn't even in town when the job was done and it worked out perfectly.

Kevin provided very helpful advice. They are adaptable and have creative solutions for working with the peculiarities of an older house. I especially appreciated that they were willing and able to schedule the work at my convenience. Even though this was not a big job, they devoted their time and attention to it. I hope they will be available when I undertake updating kitchen Part 2.

They were really nice, and they did a great job. They didn't quite stick to their time line, but I think that's usually the way it goes.

Called KASE and made appointment with Erin to have Kevin come out for an estimate. While Kevin was looking at the job, I mentioned I needed a project that would stay in my budget and he volunteered that one way might be for him to provide labor only and I would provide all the material. He would guide me, but I'd make the purchases. This is what we did. I had guests coming for the Balloon Fiesta and made it clear that I needed the work to be done before they arrived. We agreed on a deal and signed a contract and the work began. While several workers were on the job at one time or another, craftsman Oscar was the lead and he is very talented in several areas. The biggest work done was tile ... we had new tile floor and walls (including shower) done. A new tub was installed, shower enclosure, wallpaper removed and walls textured and painted, new light fixtures and mirrors hung. Everyday at the assigned time, the workers were there working. And they did a nice job cleaning at the end of each shift -- leaving the place in decent shape. I provided about $4,000 worth of material from Lowe's and Home Depot and tile from ASI. Having had a poor experience with a kitchen remodel 2 years ago, I was VERY happy and satisfied with this project. And did I mentioned, the project was completed 3 days ahead of my deadline! Kevin and Erin (and Oscar) really performed and I will recommend them highly. Besides what's here on Angie's List, I've told Kevin he can have prospective customers call me as a reference.

The remodel went very well and we were very pleased with the outcome. Kase Construction did everything listed above except the granite, where Kevin coordinated the demolition of the kitchen with the granite guy. Kevin was very easy to work with and always answered his cell phone or returned calls promptly. We did not plan the effort in much detail, so there were a lot of discussion and changes during the project.

Kase Construction came in with an estimate that was about 30% lower than any of the other estimates I had heard. Kevin Roady, owner of Kase, was on site every day and was utterly professional in every aspect of his involvement. I thought that with his estimate, the situation was too good to be true, but in fact, Kevin delivered on every aspect of his contract. He manages his subs with the utmost attention so that every job is done well. I have small children and they grew to enjoy the people working in our house. I kept adding jobs on to the original project as I saw how talented Kevin was at solving problems. Kevin even built a little car ramp for my 2 year old son to play with out of an old box. I couldn't recommend a general contractor more highly than Kevin Roady with Kase Construction. I will be in touch with him for othe projects I see on the horizon.

We wanted the raised beds removed because they were or potentially were nesting and entrance sites for termites and carpenter ants. Kevin and his concrete crew tore out the beds and hauled away the materials, cleaned the site carefully, and then laid new concrete in the courtyard. They did a great job; showed up a few days sooner than I expected and finished up in record time. I have used Kase Construction for other work and will use them again. I recommend them highly.

Kase did a great job and took, a lot of care and pride with their work. In addition to the scope of work mentioned above, they had also priced insulating the roof. However, when the work started, and they began to remove the existing deck, they found insulation already in place. Kase then gave us a credit back on the insulation and labor, saving us money! They also did a great job staffing the roofing portion of the work, making sure that one layer of roof was down (and thus watertight) before leaving the job that night. They took a lot of care with the interior work, wanting to ensure that it was done correctly and that we were going to be happy with it. They did often go the extra mile, even if it cost them a little extra time (and money). Their work was excellent, but as with any construction/ remodeling job it did take a little longer than anticipated. That being said, we would definitely use them again!
