Our experience with Ryan and his crew on residing our home could not have been better. From the very first contact with Ryan to arrange an on-site meeting for him to develop an estimate, all the way through to the final "walk through" the day after completion of the project, the communication from Ryan was excellent. Every email/text I sent to Ryan was responded to usually within 30 minutes or less, and PROACTIVE communication from Ryan on project details was outstanding. So from a customer service standpoint, we couldn't have been more pleased. Then the work itself by his crew was also excellent. They actually started my project EARLIER then they thought they could get to it, and finished it in the three days that was estimated from the start. The work area was cleaned up each day and upon completion. And most importantly, the quality of the work and attention to detail was outstanding. Everything was done exactly as agreed, including all the caulking. Which is crucial to a quality siding job, but so easy to "accidentally" skip/forget. Absolutely A+ work and customer service from start to finish. I'd highly recommend Ryan and his team to anyone.

In October 2018 we hired Ryan Hild and KC Exterior Pros to install new siding, trim, gutters and fascia on our 3-story 34 year-old home. Their price was not the lowest price proposal we received but it was far better than the other Hardie Board competition due to the high level of expertise KC Pros brought to the job. The crew came on time, worked 10 hours a day, left the work site pretty clean each night and came every day but Sundays until the job was completed. The results and the foreman’s response to our questions/requests were excellent. We were not asked to pay a penny until the job was complete and we were completely satisfied. There are so many dodgy contractors out there it is great to find someone who is honest, fast and delivers exactly what they say they will deliver. If anyone asks us to recommend a siding installation company, KC Pros will be the first name we will utter!!

PROMPT RESPONSE FROM INITIAL ANGIES LIST REQUEST, GOOD BID ON PROJECT AND IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO WORK, WITHIN 7 DAYS OF SIGNED CONTRACT.  WORKERS ARRIVED PROMPTLY AT 7AM AND WORKED ALL DAY.  A FEW SHRUBS TRAMPLED ON BUT OVERALL, CREW DID A GREAT JOB AND FINISHING TOUCHES LOOK SUPER.  <br />

It went super. They were great. It was great quality. They finished in a timely manner. The worker that they sent was professional. We're real happy. They explained everything that they were going to do and when we had questions about anything that they were doing, they gave us a prompt answer. We always understood what they were doing. We plan to use them again.

From start to finish the entire experience was EXCEPTIONAL.  I have never been more impressed with a company/contractor.  Ryan (the company owner/contractor) provided the bid which was very thurough and explained every detail and option.  He was a professional and very easy to deal with.  No high pressure sales and he was very responsive to any need or concern.  He came out to review the job with the his subcontractor before starting to insure they were aware of all the details agreed upon.  Ryan was on sight at least once a day during the project and his crew was fantastic.  The actual siding of my house took only 4-5 days.  The crew worked long hard days and cleaned up every night.  The house was wraped in TYVek, all damaged old siding was replaced, and then the new put on.  The quality of work was excellent and the crew was very experienced and obviously well trained in Hardy board installation.  The only slow down was the painting because of the weather.  Jack painted the entire 2-3 story house in about 5 days.  He sprayed and backrolled the entire house putting on probably 2-3 coats of paint.  Excellent job again.       <br />    The bid was several thousand less than the closest other bidder.  Though Hardy is not a cheap product to put on, I felt we got and excellant job on siding that is garanteed for 30 years and know that if we were to have any issues, Ryan would stand behind his work.  I would use KC Exteriors again in a heart beat and would recommend them to anyone wanting to look at Hardy siding.   <br />    I contacted several (5-6) references and personally talked with them. <p>Ryan and his team were very professional.  They showed up in a timely fashion and they picked up the trash and debris from the old windows promptly.  Andy and the team worked very hard to get the installation done and they checked with me to verify that I was pleased with the job before they left.  Ryan gave me a follow up call to see if I was pleased with the work and has offered to come by if there are any additional questions or concerns.  This was a good experience, and I would highly recommend their work.</p> <p>Tracy G.</p> <br />

<p>We looked at 3 different Angie's List contractors for the work on our home.  The project was to replace all of the windows that were original to our 50 year old home and replace the siding.  This was a big project for us and we wanted to make the right choices so we took our time to research the products & contractors thoroughly.  All 3 were very patient, responsive and accommodating.  They all had excellent references.  We chose KC Exterior Professionals (Ryan) based on price and because we are interested in people starting their own businesses being successful.  We were not disappointed.  Our home looks great.  </p> <p>During the project, Ryan was in contact with us daily.  We should note that we tend to be persnickety.  Ryan and Dalton, the lead on the project, were always willing to make adjustments and corrections, even small ones.</p> <p>Because of our home's age,  we tested for lead based paint.  It was present in the soffits and windows.  Ryan connected us with an excellent painter who was equipped to take care of the soffit & trim area.  We contracted with a different company to replace the windows.  Ryan and our window contractor met to ensure that there was good coordination between the window and siding installment.  It went very smoothly.<br /> <br /></p> <p>We were very glad that the project was done over the winter months when most of our landscaping is resting underground.  We tried to communicate areas where traffic & equipment placement should be avoided but it took vigilance.  However, we have found that to be the case with all work that is done on the exterior of the house, regardless of who is doing the work.  Just have it done in the winter and damage will be minimal.</p> <p>All in all, we are extremely pleased with the experience and outcome.</p> <br />

From the start Ryan was a pleasure to work with. He knows a lot about sales and customer service, and never stumbled once with prompt replies, professional attitude, and honesty. He gave me a quote to replace tear off all of the old aluminum siding, locate and repair any exterior water damage, and replace with color lap siding. I am a single homeowner with a very busy schedule and he was always patient about finding times to meet and would always answer my calls even after business hours. One thing I also found handy was his responsiveness to email and text, since I have a job that does not allow mid-day phone calls. At first I thought his quote was way too high, but when I started to do my research it was actually extremely reasonable, especially for a top-of-the-line product like Hardie siding. We decided to expand the project a little bit, and add vinyl pocket windows while we had the siding off the house. Ryan was very comfortable with this last-minute change, and even sent us to an office where we could see the windows ourselves. If you do by the Simonton windows from KC exterior pros I would strongly suggest buying the higher end series for just a few dollars more per window. They look MUCH better than the low end series and only increased the cost a little bit. <br /> It took me almost a full month do decide on a color that would go with my 70 year old brick house, but Ryan was very patient and helped me by providing samples and even address of houses with the colors I was interested in. After finally coming to a decision I can say I  am very happy with the way it turned out. <br /> When it was time for the project to start, Ryan was around all the time, sending me text updates while I was at work, and confirming decisions at every step of the process. He obviously spends much of his week quoting future products but he was at the house multiple times per day would always meet me late in the evening if I requested it. When I was searching for a contractor I knew I would not be home during the days of the project and needed someone I could trust with my home, my belongings, and even my dog. Ryan was that man, and gave me a great sense of comfort. His team leader, Dalton, is also great. Anytime I had a question he could answer it, and just seemed like a really good guy. <br /> When we got to demo, we found old stucco, water damage, and dysfunctional gutters that all had to be addressed quickly. Ryan got all of these things taken care of in a timely and cost-efficient manner. As the siding started to go up it looked great on most of the house, but I did have one very small area of concern where the workmanship seemed to be slightly lacking. I brought this to Ryan and Dalton's attention and the next day that section was torn out and replaced to perfection. I have a tendency to be very picky but Ryan always handled it well and by the time the project was done everything had been replaced at a level above my expectations. <br /> In all the project was fast, cost efficient, and of the highest quality. I would suggest Ryan, his team, and his product to anyone who was looking to transform the appearance of their house. <br />

Everything about this transaction was smooth and easy. Ryan was prompt, informative and helpful.  He not only left us all the Hardie color samples but also got addresses where colors we were interested in were used in the Metro area so we were able to view the colors on an actual house. His former work for James Hardie meant that he was extremely knowledgeable about the proper methods for re-siding a house using James Hardie siding.  The work was outstanding, the crew was friendly and paid attention to detail.  They went above and beyond and did some added siding that was not in the original game plan.  When we saw a place where the trim looked odd the way it was installed, they took siding off and trimmed the area to our satisfaction.  Can't say anything bad about this experience.  The price may seem high but the house is a ranch with lots of surface area and the small barn is larger than a three car garage in square footage.  We got one other estimate and would have been happy with that provider, but Ryan's price was more competitive. The house and barn look amazing, and we couldn't be more pleased! <br />

<p>Process could not have gone any better.  Ryan, owner of the company, was most professional and responsive during the process.  The installers were very polite and professional, as well.  The house looks wonderful!!!  I would definitely use this company for my next siding job and I plan to do so in the near future as I have rentals.</p> <br />

Ryan and his team totally transformed the look of our home.   Ryan was very patient with us and wow, what customer service skills! It was our first time to utilize the James Hardie siding product on our home. His team was meticulous, disciplined, and so unbelievably cross trained in their skills.  Most importantly, Ryan's team was  very careful in working around our landscaping and always left the job site as clean as can be each day. They did not waste time and completed the project timely and efficiently- and we didn't feel like we were living for weeks with the project- He has a team to complete the project- not just 1 or 2 workers. We highly recommend Ryan!

I had received a flyer and called to get a quote.  I had already investigated the type of replacement windows I wanted and the <br /> approximate cost to install.  KCEPros returned my call within 24hrs and came out and measured the windows and <br /> gave me a quote within 48 hours. Not to mention, his quote was highly competitive.  I agreed to the price and the installer remeasured for accuracy, the windows were ordered and  installed within 2 weeks.  The installation was painless, and when the windows were installed, I had no mess to clean up.
