We were disappointed with the performance of the contractor, Gutter Wizard, from Maryland Heights, MO. His work required correction, which he promised to do. Unfortunately, he would never show up. We were unable to reach him on the phone, and he never returned our calls. Beware of his services. Home Advisor should have a better selection process for contractors. For now, we do not trust Advisors recommendations.

I spoke with two gutter companies for this job. The other company immediately tried to sell me on replacing all of the gutters on my house instead of reattaching my existing gutters and fixing the broken downspout. When I convinced them I wanted a repair, not a replacement of all the gutters, he priced it 2.5x higher than KC and also hedged that by telling me it would likely cost more because he would probably need to replace the fascia on the house. When KC came, their price was less than half to fix the same issues, and he said there was no reason to assume the fascia should be replaced when I asked him about it. They came the next week (the other guy said 2-4 weeks) and did the work in about an hour.
