The most professional and best contractors we’ve ever used. Robbie remodeled our master bath and did an excellent job. He was reasonable, had great communication and does quality work. We will hire him again.

Robby did an excellent job with our master bathroom, and we were completely satisfied with the work; the ceramic tile work in the shower is beautiful. He did the extensive demolition work quickly and efficiently. His workmanship is excellent and the subcontractors for the floor, plumbing and shower door were top-notch. He is reliable and efficient when scheduling work to be done; easy to work with and very creative. Would definitely recommend Keedysville Construction.

Robbie did an outstanding job for our master bathroom. He always wanted to make sure we were satisfied with every part of it. Robbie is polite and knowledgeable. He has done other work for us in the past which overall was very good. He quoted a certain price which we understood would cover the work to be done, but when the time came to do it, we had to spend more and eliminate several aspects to cover the total cost. It is possible that this was just a misunderstanding, since he is pretty casual about contract details. I agree with the other reviewers that rated his company a B overall: beware of his subcontractors which make serious as well as cosmetic mistakes and be aware that he may take weeks or months to contact you, unless it's an emergency. I also thought his price estimates were in the high range, although I believe the finished project was probably higher quality than much less expensive contractors.

The remodel project exceeded our expectations. It is a small bathroom and we took out the tub and installed a walk in shower with Corian walls, floor and custom Corian sink and tiled the floor, installed a wall with glass panel instead of glass doors, with a rain shower fixture. It is beautiful and were extremely pleased with the workmanship from Keedysville Construction. We would hire them again. Robbie is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Also Kevin was great.

We removed two walls between the breakfast room, kitchen, and dining room to make one large kitchen. Keedysville Construction They were easy to work with. The vendors that they recommended were great and made the process seem effortless. Keedysville relocated a window and switched out a large window for new French door. They really took the time to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. They were also patient with the last minute changes we made without impeding on our project completion time.

Everything went great. I showed Robby a picture of what I wanted and that’s what we got. The project took a bit longer than we thought but the final product is excellent. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them if your looking for a bathroom remodel.

Robby did a beautiful job. Looks like a bathroom out of a beautiful homes magazine. We could not be more please with the result - just beautiful. Robby was a pleasure to work with and offered many good suggestions. He cares about his profession. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I was apprehensive about the process and had delayed initiating the renovation for years. Now I truly will remember this as one of the most pleasant and satisfying home projects we have done. Keedysville Construction owner Robby Minnick will answer your emails quickly, and your texts almost immediately. He may be honest to his own detriment and gave us a VERY FAIR price. Robby explained the entire process along the way, was punctual, an excellent problem-solver, and cleaned up his work space daily. The photos may not show exciting design (we were listing our house for resale), but Robby has a creative and artistic side, and is ready to share his craft. Most importantly, I think Robby listened to his client, clarified for accurate understanding (I didn't know/use builder's terms), then made recommendations for product quality and price. He and his co-worker are courteous, neat, and talented. Robby loves the tile work, especially...not so much drywall and paint. I would recommend!

I have used a lot of contractors over the years and Robbie was the best ever. He cares and listens to the issues you are concerned about and does everything to meet your requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with how everything went. Due to the age of the home there were some building issues that needed special consideration and Robbie was excellent. His people were very good as well. We would definitely use hime again.

We used Keedysville Construction for the remodeling of two bathrooms. The first bathroom was remodeled in late summer of 2014 and the other in the fall/early winter of 2015. Generally speaking, we liked Rob. He's a nice guy, polite and easy to talk to, which is why we chose him to remodel our second bathroom even though the first project had its problems. </p> <p>Our major concerns and complaints involve his subcontractors. If you use Keedysville Construction, we STRONGLY advise you to be extremely clear and specific about what you want done and how. Don't assume what you think SHOULD be done, will be done. </p> <p>The first bathroom was more complicated in that it required closing off an entrance to the attic and opening up another attic door in an adjacent bedroom. In this bathroom, the electrician put the vanity light about 12 inches too high. Consequently, my husband had to move it and then repair the hole where the light had originally been put. We didn't look closely enough at the drywall before we painted, so there are ridges and pockmarks that should have been sanded out by the drywaller, but weren't. Also, I didn't realize until it was too late that Rob had made mistakes in the pattern when he put down the tile floor, so he had to re-do that (meaning he put another layer of tile over the first layer). For this bathroom, not only did a door have to be relocated but the bottom of the attic stairs had to be rerouted so they curved to the left instead of the right. We assumed Rob would use regular wood risers and treads to construct the new stairs, but he used ¾ inch pressed chipboard instead. There are no stair tread overhangs on the new stairs, either. </p> <p>The second bathroom, which was not nearly as complicated, took almost 4 months to complete. To be fair, we did not give Rob a timetable, but we feel the project dragged out far too long. Learning from our mistakes with the first bathroom, this time, we literally drew on the walls: where we wanted outlets, the vanity light, etc. The drywaller was not reliable. On at least two occasions (probably more like 4 or 5), Rob contacted us, telling us the drywaller would be at our house on a certain day and a certain time, but the drywaller never showed up and never contacted us. This time, after the drywaller was finished, my husband spent half a Saturday re-mudding and re-sanding the ridges and pockmarks left by sloppy work. We assumed the plumber would put in shut-off valves on the shower plumbing but, he didn't. Rob does the carpentry work and he did a good job building and tiling a stand-up shower in this bathroom. </p> <p>In summary, Rob is polite and trustworthy, but if you use his company, you must be very involved with every detail, especially regarding the subcontractors, and don't assume anything.

Very pleased with the quality of the work.  They were able to complete the work in a timely manner and did an excellent job fixing the bad drywall job from the previous owner. <br />

All work was done professionally to a very good standard. The plumbing and electrics work great, with no surprises. The finished job looks good, with attention paid to little details. The tiling is particularly nice - porcelain floor tiles set on the diagonal, and subway and mosaic tile in the shower. Robbie is a good communicator, proactive, responsive and reliable. His team was pleasant to deal with and kept the house clean. The job was done within our deadline.  <br /> <br />

<p>We were first impressed by Robby's ability to quickly understand what we wanted done. Robby and his crew do excellent, quality work. They showed up to work on time. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the job took much longer than promised. This was explained to us as difficulty getting labor for things like plumbing. We did note that there is a lot of construction, so there are probably not enough skilled labor for certain skills in our area. With that said, I would use their services again, just pack your patience! If you want someone that will do the job right the first time, I would highly recommend these guys!</p> <br />

Robby and his team were excellent, he listened to what we were looking for, came in on budget, were prompt and cleaned up each day. They remodeled our downstairs basement bathroom to accommodate my father-in-law. Robby said that it would take 3 weeks and he actually came in under that time line. The job was excellent and I look forward to working with them in the future on several other projects yet to be started.

I was looking for a contractor to finishing tiling my main bathroom after I ran out steam doing the renovation myself. I contracted Keedysville Construction based on the great reviews they received on Angieslist, the prompt and courteous responses of Mr. Minnick and the competitive estimate he offered. This was a small job but Mr. Minnick and his helper gave it their full attention and the results exceeded my expectations. I am really pleased with how the work turned out and with the overall experience. I will definitely be contacting Keedysville Construction again in the future! <br />
