Considering they are 50 years old, he did a great job.

He does awesome work.  I am using him again to refinish my hardwood  floors. He has a great crew and they are trustworthy.

Again they did an excellent job.  James did an excellent job of tying in the new floor with the floor that had been laid previously.  The flooring matched with the previous & couldn’t tell which was the new & old.  They also installed 5 in baseboards.  They were very professional.  We definitely recommend them & would have them come back for any future work.

I have Clay's Floor number on my cell phone because coworkers are always asking if I know someone who does this or that. A simple call to Clay's Floors and I got an install date about one week out. They came on time, installed the floor as stated and placed all the furniture back how they found it. I've met the installers before, they are polite and professional. They have have done two previous jobs for me before, so I've gotten to know the Mr. Clay so we always spend a little time chatting afterwards. They have become my "goto" floor company. All three jobs were for laminate floor.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!!! I sued and was awarded a judgement  against this company and Mr. Keith Clay for the shoddy workmanship he did installing hardwood floors in my home. The judgment was rendered on August 18, 2009 in the amount of $4,180.00 under Cause Number. SC-8137 in precinct #4 Ellis County Texas. An Abstract of Judgement has been filed in Ellis, Dallas and Collin Counties in Texas. Mr. Clay to date has not paid us the judgement awarded to us. The last contact with Mr. Clay through our attorney was a phone call from Mr Clay stating that he was filing for bankruptcy. We contracted with Mr. Clay in November of 2008 to lay 2" wood flooring (glue down on concrete) in two rooms of our home. Mr. Clay stated he had done this work before and he had an A+ rating (he is a member) with the Dallas BBB.  The installation was done improperly from the start. His crew failed to properly prepare the concrete foundation, per the glue and wood flooring manufactures instructions. They did not sand the surface and failed to remove the over spray paint that was on the concrete before installing the wood flooring. This is a must in order for the glue to properly adhere  to the concrete foundation. After laying the flooring without properly preparing the surface, they then failed to properly roll over the installation every hour with a 100-150 pound roller,per the manufactures instructions. As a result the wood did not adhere to the foundation and was moving and popping as you walked over the floor.I called the wood floor and glue ( Bostik's best) manufacture's and read the instructions on the product, and was informed that Mr. Clay's installation was not done properly and that the floor could not be "fixed'. It would have to be torn out, then the glue removed and start all over again with new wood flooring after the foundation was properly prepared. After numerous attempts to get Mr. Clay to make this right, which he said he would, but he only wanted to attempt to nail the floor to the concrete ,which also did not work. I was told by both the wood floor and the glue company that this also would not work that it would have to be redone as described above.at this point we determined that Mr. Clay did not know how to properly install this type of wood flooring  so  we asked for a refund our money. Mr. Clay assured us he would refund our money as we were not satisfied. Mr. Clay avoided our calls and the few times we were able to contact him by email he assured us he was going to bring us or mail us our check but he never did. After filing a complainant with the BBB Dallas, which is a waste of time, we contacted an attorney and filed suit.. We had to pay a different company to come into our home and remove the flooring and the glue, which cost us even more money. They then properly prepared the foundation and layed the flooring. This of course meant we paid double for the flooring plus the cost of the removal of the defective floor. The second installation was done properly  (I watched it every minute) and almost three years later we have had no problems. There is NO WAY I would ever do any business with this company or any company associated with Keith Clay. He is not a man of his word and he DOES NOT stand behind his work.   He claims to be a Christian but I have seen no evidence of this in his business dealings.

Keith's company did a great  job.  The 40 year old brick floor looks fantastic!!  I would definitely use this company again.  His work was very professional. 

Keith Clay personally supervises all work, which is of exceptional quality. His crew members are highly skilled, pay close attention to detail, and are a pleasure to work with. They go to great measure to minimize dust and disruption. Keith and his crew even came back several days later to move heavy furniture back into place. We plan to have them back to complete work in several other areas. Update: Clay Floors returned one week later to refinish an additional area. The quality of their work and attention to detail were identical to what we experienced previously. They provide exceptional service.

The tile floor in the craft room turned out beautiful, and the folks from Keith Clay Floors kept everything neat and tidy throughout the entire installation process. With the advise on cleaning the sap off the laminate wood flooring, Keith Clay Floors has earned our praises. We highly recommend this company and we will use them again when we have other flooring needs.

Keith came same day with samples. He was very knowledgeable - gaves us options & that would work within our price range. He worked with us on our timing. The job was completed on time. He followed up & checked the work & made sure that we were satisfied. He gave us a floor clean kit. Made sure that if we had any questions & problems to call him right away. Keith is very professional & takes pride in his work. We would definitely use Keith Clay Floors in the future. We give him an A++ rating.

Keith had a little bit of a problem with a delay (six weeks) from the factory getting the product. Once the product was delivered, the installation was quick and looks great.

Overall, the job went very well. Hard wood floors need time to "cure" so expect the job to take a little longer. We had to move all of the furniture out of the second story. That was an issue. I rented a 16 ft "Pack Rat" storage unit which was delivered to our driveway and helped with the storage needs. After the job was complete, Keith came by to inspect the work one last time. He was not happy with one of the thresholds leading from a bathroom to the bedroom so he had his team redo it. He cares about the quality of the work that bares his name. I am so thrilled with the end results. I love walking barefoot on my new floors! They are so easy to keep clean.

It went well. There was one small mix up stemming from a miscommunication with one of his guys which Keith immediately came and fixed that day. He was very apologetic and took full responsibility. The final floors look beautiful.

They were good. The person who came out was knowledgeable and gave a reasonably priced estimate. The one negative is that he was not on time.

It went OK. He's a good provider himself, but the crew he had working on our floors didn't do a good job. He did remidiate the problem, but it was too bad it wasn't done well the first time. It was a plus that he did remidiate the problem.

He was really good. He did a very good and clean job. He was very prompt and quick. I was very impressed. He came out within a day after I had called him. He completed the work in two days. He was excellent. His prices were very fair. I spent $1500 on the job. I am planning to use him again, next month.

Keith arrived and was very friendly and professional. He gave me a quote to refinish our hardwoods that had just been previously refinished 2 days, earlier by guys that didn't know what they were doing. Keith's crew were very friendly and did an awesome job of refinishing 550 sqft of flooring and replacing all toe moulding.

It went very good in every respect. They were reasonable in price, did good work and I would use them again in the future.

They were very conscientious about the work. They were very neat and clean. They took care of the things that were in the house and they were very flexible. Their work was very good.

I was able to schedule him to come within a week of calling. Unfortunately the previous job took longer then expected so at first he had to delay the time he was coming then finally he moved our appointment to the following day. He ended up coming late because he got mixed up about what part of town he was going to for the day. My floors are very old and dry and haven't been getting regular maintenance so they really needed to have the expensive treatment which would require sanding them down first but that would have been about $900 dollars. As it was they were there less then 2 hours and I felt that the $300 dollars I paid was a lot for buffing the floor which only required a couple hours of work. Overall the floors do look much better.

The workers did a good job. They took their time and the job took longer than they estimated (3 hours). Since they finished late, they did a bit of a rush job on one of the transitional pieces. Overall the job was well done.

His workers were very nice and courteous. They got the job done in a timely fashion.
