Keith S Nagy Construction

We hired Keith Nagy several years ago to put new pavers in our pool area and to resurface the existing cement around the pool. When work was complete I asked about the veins in the cement and asked if the cement would hold out in the weather element ... answer was yes. Well after 1 1/2 years the cement was cracking and lifting. Had Keith come back to remove cement and replace with pavers. There was so much dust from removing the cement it seemed that there might be a difference in color from the previous pavers. When asked about it he said it is due to the chemicals on the pavers. Well it got worse and when asked he indicated that the wrong pavers were ordered. Well 1 1/2 years later after texting him constantly he never fixed. He kept promising he would come over and measure but then always had an excuse why he did not come. Finally hired another mason who corrected Keith's error. Would NOT recommend Keith to anyone!

We purchased a new home in July 2016 that needed some updates to the garage and driveway. We received an estimate from Keith before we moved in since my objective was to have all work completed before I returned to work from maternity leave on September 1st, leaving him two and a half months to complete what we expected to be a one to two week job at the most. We paid for 1/3 of the job up front and 1/3 of the job after he completed our garage floor. It took six weeks for Keith to even show up at our home to do the first part of the job. I do have to say that the quality of the work done in the garage was good. However, after this point, Keith was nowhere to be found. We waited weeks for Keith to come complete the preparation of the driveway and paving. There were endless phone calls and texts, first followed by excuses and then no responses at all. After weeks of no response from Keith, we hired a different paving company to complete the job. It was completed by the new company in three hours, just two days after booking the job. We still have not heard back from Keith and doubt we ever will since he already has our money. I would not recommend him to anyone.

It went well at first. Keith Nagy was the first one to respond to my Angie's List posting and showed up to give the first estimate, he was personable. Keith then sent me an invoice and scheduled the day to start work, he was the best price. This was about August 2, 2016. I paid a $1,666 deposit, he was 2 weeks late to start the job. In a strange bit of timing, the city was repairing the curbs along our road and fixed the driveway as part of their project at no cost to me. After multiple emails he showed up 9/7/16 with a crew of 4 guys who removed the blue stone patio and left a pile of dirt in my driveway, Keith indicated they would be back the following week to complete the job. So many emails, calls, excuses (his well broke, his daughter had a baby, it looked like rain, another job went way over) I persisted and he finally arrived with another crew to fill in with dirt the area where the blue stone patio was removed, seed, fix most of the loose blue stone (not all), removed the wrought iron hand rail indicating he had a friend who would repair it and he would be back to replace it within 2 weeks, that was on 10/8/16. I have paid the bill in full, the hand rail still has not been installed, the step up from the back walkway to drive still remains unsecured. Several emails, a few calls, more excuses, the job remains incomplete, the invoice has been paid in full... in fact over paid because the driveway was part of his original invoice of $5,000.00. He has now not responded to multiple email requests for an update to complete the job and provide a rebate for the driveway. It doesn't make any sense to me, the work that was done, is good work, he is a nice guy, this is a small job why damage a reputation? He has "Angie's List" top rating (or something like that) on his vehicle. I rated quality a "D" above because he didn't finish.

Keith came out to give me an estimate within a week and the job was completed a few days later with quality materials. He recommended bluestone treads for the stairs and deconstructing/reconstructing the retaining wall. It came out beautiful!

The result is phenomenal! Keith is very responsive to customer needs and insures that you are satisfied with the work done. He treats his workers well and it shows in their work.

Keith had all the qualities I value in a contractor - he was on time, he communicated well and the work was very professional. My patio pavers had all loosened up. Keith not only re-laid them and put a border on them, he suggested a polymer coat to prevent them from become loose again. I would most definitely recommend him <br />

The owners design was spot on to what we discussed with him. The stone work which included some (of what I perceive to be) difficult curves turned out beautiful. The owner was not only responsive, but open to suggestions and changes as we progressed. His staff was courteous, helpful and they cleaned up their work areas after each day's work.

We learned a great deal with the scope of this job. It took longer than expected but we are pleased with results

The project went extremely well as Keith provided exactly the work necessary at a reasonable price. He communicated well and I <br /> would definitely use his company for future construction work.

Patio came out great. Keith was great to deal with. He had many recommendations for design which we are glad we followed. Very professional and gave a fair price and stuck with it.

He was very honest and respectful. The job was done on time and budget. Keith explain everything and in a very clear way. At the end he and his team clean all the area in where they work and they left everything spotless and very clean

Everything Keith has done for me has been done with excellence, and a desire to serve.  Even if I didn't like something his crew had done,  he would quickly fix or change it to my satisfaction.  Keith and his crew are first class, reliable and meticulous.  Every job was done with detail and with my desires in mind.  Some contractors have their own agenda and don't listen to my needs.  Not Keith he is a great listener and is always attentive to my concerns and preferences.  He does jobs with in budget unless there is a legitimate change.  Projects seem to run smoothly and get done quickly with little down time.  I highly recommend him to anyone that wants a great contractor at a great price who you can count on to do the job right.  Hire him you won't be unhappy. <br />
