Kelco Electric was awesome!! I needed my above ground pool grounded!! They were very responsive. Chris came out to give me a quote very quickly. The following week Eric & Nathan came out and completed the work with so much professionalism and they were so pleasant! I appreciate the work they did especially on such a hot day!! Having been ghosted by an electrician in the middle of a heat wave, we consulted Angie’s List - and two (count ‘em, two!) Kelco representatives responded immediately. Within an hour, Ryan showed up and wouldn’t leave until the mystery was solved and we were cool again. Hire these guys. Seriously.

I needed to have the electric switch/light dimmer replaced for my Dining Room light. I felt that I was grossly overcharged for their services based on the time that it took to replace the switch. I was charged a total of $257.00; which included $50.00 for the new switch and $200.00 for the labor and diagnosis. The $200.00 labor portion was exorbitant because it took the electrician only 15 minutes to replace the switch. Additionally, the electrician arrived at my home 2 hours later than the time that the appointment was scheduled for.

One circuit in our house kept tripping and we could not reset it. The technician determined an outlet was faulty, replaced it, and everything is fine now. Called back promptly, arrived as scheduled, no problems.

They showed up 30 minutes late. Forgot a ladder. Left for an hour. Took smoking breaks every 20 minutes. The 5-hour job was an 8 hours job on the hottest day of the year. They left and did not turn on the new circuit breaker for the refrigerator. They were supposed to do 5 other projects. That is not going to happen.

Everything went perfect from start to finish. Chris responded to my inquiry that very evening and we set up a date to have an estimate for the replacement on my old fuse box panel. Randy his technician went through everything in detail that needed to be done to upgrade my sevice to 200 amps and the added safety features. At that point I knew I had the right person for the job. I signed the contract that day to have the work done. Randy and his co-worker (sorry forgot his name) arrived on time and completed the work that day and for the exact price I signed the contract for. I'll be calling them back in September to have more work done. Don't hesitate to call Chris.
