Ken's Plumbing did an excellent job of quickly responding to our call regarding the failed water heater. The person who came to do the job answered all of our questions very thoroughly and did a first-rate job. Because there was a part that had to be ordered a second visit was necessary. The entire process was handled in a way that we felt fully informed and certain that we had received excellent service. We definitely will call on Ken's Plumbing for any future needs.

I have mixed feelings about my interactions with Ken's. I was referred to them through a contractor - they were professional but had great difficulty getting the work done in a timely manner and failed to communicate their progress with me as a homeowner (I was renovating a rental property). I was highly disappointed with their communications during my bathroom remodel - their delays resulted in an additional $200 expense and over week and a half delay in finishing the bathroom. (The vanity I had was left out in the yard so that when they failed to reinstall it, the ceramic cracked and I had to purchase a new vanity AND faucet.) It seems we were victims of an office turnover (they fired a scheduler) and a personal emergency on the part of a worker. Still, next time I would shop around for a different plumber before working with them. Not worth the expense - premium price at average service.

Great!! Adam and Joe came right on time and even though there was a slight misunderstanding about the work to be done they did everything I asked with no hesitation! My downstairs shower was repaired quickly. After going into the crawl space (not easy since Adam had to go through a very small window!) Adam advised me that the outdoor faucet could not be replaced due to its age and location. So he put in a new washer and that worked! The faucet in the upstairs bathroom shower is very old so Adam had to order parts for me. He said someone would call when the parts were in so we could arrange to have them installed. I also asked about changing the handle on the main water line and Adam told me exactly how that would be done. I have used Ken's plumbing in the past and I would recommend them very highly! Ask for Adam and Joe! You won't be disappointed!

Very happy with the service. Another guy had told us that the entire pipe had to be replaced, however these guys came out and had a much less complicated solution. They diagnosed the problem right away, were friendly, clean and informative. Would hire again for any other plumbing issues.

<p>Had used Ken's plumbing for a few jobs around the house. </p> <p>1) Snaked a sewer drain pipe - March 2014. Simple job, showed up on time and completed based on estimate provided.</p> <p>2) Replace exterior hose bib - Sept 2014. Straight forward, showed up on time and competed based on estimate provided.</p> <p>3) Identify and fix leak coming from 2nd floor - Sept 2014., This is where the issues began. Claimed to have found and repaired leak coming for hallway bathroom on the 2nd floor. "fixed" and charged for repair and left. Leak continued ... they identified, fixed and charged for something that wasn't broken.</p> <p>End up identifying the leak on our own (Jacuzzi tub in the master bath) and turning off the water supply to the tub.</p> <p>4) Replace another exterior hose bib - Sept 2015 Straight forward, showed up on time and competed but cost was higher than estimated due to "complexity".</p> <p>5) Master bath Jacuzzi - Sept 2015. We had done the hard part in any leak repair ... we identified the source of the leak for them. And since they were replacing the hose bib had them repair the leak in the Jacuzzi tub. They failed at the repair. And, when I say failed they made it worse. I have videos of water pouring down to the 1st floor kitchen and into our new (at the time) subzero fridge. Had sheet rock ceiling damage, subfloor damage and had to have a tech come out to clean/dry out the fridge which just took a shower. Called Ken's plumbing back and they came back to fix it for real this time. Failed again. Supervisor from Ken's plumbing then came by to take a look at what happened (funny thing was that he was wearing a t-shirt from another plumbing shop). First he didn't believe us when we told him what was repaired - though his guys did the repair and I am sure he did ask them. Then he said he definitely knew what it was this time around ... </p> <p>The incredulous part was that not only did he want to charge more to fix something that they had "already fixed and charged for multiple times" he didn't want to pay for the water damage that they caused. </p> <p>Would not use again and would not recommend based on experience.</p> <br />

Called first thing in the morning, and was promptly given an appointment. They arrived, assessed the job to be done, and started working right away. The job was done quickly and professionally. They explained my new water heater to me and left my place clean as a whistle. <br />

"[Member Name Removed] purchased a service on Angie's List Storefront. He stated he had an unidentifiable sewer smell. The situation had been going on a few years. During our phone conversation, he stated the smell was only apparent when the heat or AC was on. We informed him we cannot repair HVAC systems, only plumbing. He insisted we come and have a look to determine the origin of the smell, since he felt maybe he had a cracked sewer pipe. Our technicians arrived at 8:45 for a 10:00 appointment. They inspected all plumbing fixtures and checked all piping. All sewer pipes had plugs and all plumbing ran well. There was no smell detected from the plumbing system. At that point, he turned on the heating system and our technicians did detect a smell. Our technician put a video in the vent to see if there was any water in the ducts. There was no leak in the heating system ducts. After we exhausted all possibility of any plumbing issues, we referred him to a HVAC specialist. The next day the customer called to inform us he felt the fee was too high. Since it was purchased through the storefront, he had paid for an hour of plumbing service. After we received the payment from Angie's List, the office then credited the difference between a plumbing and service charge fee. A check was promptly sent reimbursing him. Our plumbers do carry foot coverings on their vehicles and at a customers request they are worn. Had the customer asked our technicians, they would have happily put the booties on. We are very sorry [Member Name Removed] was dissatisfied with our service, however we feel we did everything possible to make [Member Name Removed] happy."

I have used him in the past and I am always satisfied with the services, so I called him out again for this larger project and was very happy with the service. They did the whole trap line and replaced the entire mainline for an excellent price. They are very professional.

The water company wanted to replace my 40-year old meter but the old valve (probably 40 years old as well) didn't work. This valve would stop the water from the water main into the building. <br /> It seemed like a small and simple job to do, but I got a quote from another company, which was atrocious. <br /> I called Ken's plumbing from Angie's List and scheduled the work. They gave me a quote over the phone once I described exactly what I needed. I had to schedule the work with the water company, since they had to shut off the street supply. Ken's team arrived on time, with towels and bucket and parts and completed the work in about 45 min. They explained the work and also turned the street supply back on. <br /> They were quite friendly and had a local office too. <br /> Overall, I'm quite satisfied with their work and have referred them to some of my neighbors. <br /> <br /> <br />

I used Kens Plumbing and Aaron Sewer Service to clean my severely clogged kitchen drain. After a few hiccups with changes in appointment timings( which was handled very professionally by Ashley) , they came over to get the job done. Adam and Anthony were extremely proficient guys. They evaluated the situation, discussed the technique and got to work immediately. One of the earlier plumbers I had called to solve the problem suggested that I replace the entire pipeline to clear the problem!!!!. These guys used a powerful tool to clear the block and saved me hundreds of dollars. I had couple of other minor plumbing work which was also handled very well. Will highly recommend this company for plumbing problems. <br />
