We've been painting houses and installing epoxy flooring for over 30 years, and as you can see from our reviews we take pride in being very good at it. We do the carpentry repairs that most painters cover or don't know how to do. We will paint your house as if it were our own. I contacted this company for a repair and they seemed very nice and we set up an appointment. They never showed up for the appointment, I called them and asked if they are still showing up and they said they would call me back in 5 minutes but they never called back. I then called them the next morning and they set up another appointment for me that morning....and never showed up....waste of time

Our house was in dire need of exterior painting. After researching Kevin Turner Painting and talking to Kevin personally, I knew he was the man for the job. Ours is a fairly large house and the job took seven days for Kevin and his three assistants. They removed all the gutters (which were to be replaced later by another company), removed all the storm windows, power washed the entire house, and scraped off all the peeling paint. Before painting, Kevin made a number of wood rot repairs, caulked where needed, repaired the front porch awning, reglazed a number of widows -- and even removed an unsightly old tv antenna from the highest part of the second story, During the painting, Kevin made a couple of suggestions which we agreed to that really improved our house's appearance, such has adding some shutters rather than trimming the doors and windows with an accent color. We were really impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of Kevin and his crew. We are extremely pleased with their work. And our house has never looked so good! We whole-heartedly recommend Kevin Turner Painting!

Very well. I had this done in late October, but luckily the weather was still warm and mostly dry. It took most of the week, and Kevin was present and working along with his crew much of the time. He doesn't provide a detailed contract beforehand, but since he lives in the neighborhood and has many good reviews, I wasn't too worried. I picked up some nails from the carpentry project on the patio afterward, but no big deal, and he was nice enough to trim the top of my cedar tree that I couldn't reach with my personal ladder. His crew also removed all my storm windows before painting, which gave me a chance to wash them for the first time in quite a while--some of them I can't get open from the inside.

It went great!....... Mr. Turner and his crew where wonderful. Very courteous and friendly. Did the work in timely manor. Our house had not been painted in many years. The paint was peeling and cracking. Most of the windows need to be reglazed. Several of window pains ere broken and needed replaced. Kevin and his team did a great job. Pressure washed the house and prepped for paining.They cleaned everything up after wards. They even painted my old shed with out me asking them too. All at a very reasonable price. Would recommend them to family and friends.

It was very easy working with Kevin, and he and his team did an excellent job painting and repairing our house. They arrived punctually every day until the job was done, even working on Saturday. The glazing on our wooden windows was in rough shape, and Kevin did a beautiful job reglazing and repainting them. They also power washed the vinyl siding on our house, and got off lots of stains that I'd been unable to remove no matter how hard I'd scrubbed. As many of the reviews here have noted, Kevin will go above and beyond to do the job right. He even painted an extra door and some extra trim that wasn't in the original quote, because he noticed they looked dingy when compared to the newly painted windows (and did so without tacking on additional charges, which I wouldn't have minded any way). Highly recommended!

Kevin and his crew were very efficient. He came by and left stain colors as well as the estimate for work even though I was not able to be home to meet him. In order to do the job well he trimmed some bushes surrounding my deck and got rid of the yard waste. As the crew worked, he sent me pictures of the process and put the deck furniture back where it had been. The entire process was professional and immaculate. I definitely recommend Kevin Turner Painting!

Kevin and his crew were very prompt, professional, and streamlined. He met with my husband and I and walked around the house with us to get the entire picture of what we were looking for. He recommended some repairs (wood rot areas)-which we took him up on- and shortly thereafter our house was power-washed and being painted! He and his crew cleaned up daily and continually checked in to make sure things were going as we desired. In addition to this, he removed excess wires which were running all over the outside of the house from unused landlines and cable companies. Overall we, to this day, are very pleased with the job that was performed. We would definitely recommend Kevin and his crew to anyone looking to freshen up their home's exterior!

<p>I cannot say enough good things about Kevin Turner and his crew!! I found Kevin's company through Angie's List and after reading several glowing reviews about his work and his experience with older homes, I decided to contact him for a bid. He responded out to my address the very next day and, while I was at work, looked over my house and placed a bid in my mailbox. I have to admit, it was quite a bit more money than I had hoped to pay but, I knew my 1924 Craftsman needed a lot of work and so, my husband and I decided to go with Kevin Turner. I cannot express how glad I am that we did!! From the very beginning, Kevin went out of his way to do the very best job possible. </p> <p>The first day he and his crew worked it was rainy and cold, and they were out there all day for a solid 8 hours power washing my house. They then spent over 2 solid days just scraping paint, replacing rotten boards and siding, and prepping the house for painting. After over a week of prepping, painting, and dodging the sporadic rain storms, my little house was finally finished. If that had been all Kevin had done, it would have been great. But, it was all the other extra things that Kevin did that demonstrated how much pride he takes in the job that he does. </p> <p>First, I had this old crabapple tree that blocked half of the front of my house so Kevin said he would like to cut it down, if I would let him. I was thrilled!! I had been wanting that tree gone for years. So, he brought his chainsaw the next day, cut it down, chopped it up and had it hauled away. Then there was my sad, crooked steps on my back deck, he fixed those without me even asking. He took off an old satellite dish and all the random, wayward cables that went with it. He replaced 2 ceiling joists and the 2 posts on my front porch. He painted my front door and screen door and even painted a little wooden table on my front porch that was peeling badly. The old, ugly plastic gutters on my house were taken down, new fasciae boards put up and Kevin even arranged for a seamless guttering company to come out and give me a bid on new gutters!! I know I'm leaving some things out because, every day it seemed these little projects would come up and, without a second thought, Mr. Turner would just take care of them. It was such a relief to leave my precious house in his capable hands and have him work his magic. He is a true professional craftsman and was simply a pleasure to work with. </p>

If you are so inclined you can add a before and after photo in this review space. When I cut down the sorry little tree in front that was rubbing on the roof was as big of an improvement as replacing the original wooden drip edge over the side windows instead of leaving the 2x4 that someone had nailed up to cover the worn out wood. Washing and staining the back deck was not part of my bid but I am glad we did it. That just completed the job and made the area a bit more useable. Not difficult and I was able to use some leftover stain that I had. I will come by this weekend to see if the new gutters are on and take a picture. Thanks again Kevin Turner"

Kevin was quick in responding to our request for an estimate. The price was fair for the amount of work that needed to be done and we decided to go forward with his company. Not only were they timely, they also went above and beyond what I expected. They replaced pieces of wood siding that were beginning to rot, removed old cable and landline wires, trimmed some of our plants, and painted our house exactly as we had envisioned. At each step, Kevin kept us posted and always asked permission before doing things such as removing the wire. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves daily. The job was done over the course of just a few days and we adore the way our house looks now!

The entire job was fantastic. Kevin was punctual, reliable and great to work with. Kevin and his team did an outstanding job as our house turned out beautiful. The attention to detail was superb. They even sent pictures of the day's progress while I was at work. To top it off they left a new welcome mat by the front door when the finished painting the house. Possibly the best experience with a contractor I've ever had. <br> <br>We communicated via Angie's list, I described the problem and Kevin dropped by to take a look (without me needing to be in attendance, which was a great benefit to me). He gave me the quote online, said he'd come by some time the following week (again without me needing to be here) and as promised, completed the work. <br> <br>I came home one afternoon to find a small slip of paper in my front door which turned out to be the invoice. I went outside to take a look at the results and was just so delighted. Kevin had power washed the eaves which were grey with mildew/mold, and also did some unexpected painting touch up. The eaves literally look like new. The yard was clean and the only evidence that he'd even been there was some small leftover puddles of water. <br> <br>All this after I'd been given a gloom and doom kind of estimate from another provider in the vicinity of $2000 for the equivalent work (not to mention all of the additional work he scoped out for himself). Another reason to love Angie's List! <br> <br>And many thanks Kevin, for a job well done! <br> <br> <br> <br>
