Unfortunately I appear to have had the same experience as the two previous reviews. I submitted my request to Angie's list and Lenny called promptly. He called several more times to convince me to have him do the work. Once the contract was signed and a deposit sent the calls stopped. His office Manager Mary fielded my inquiries thereafter when I no longer heard from Lenny and there were no updates on when the work would be done. I mentioned several times I could wait into spring but still have no firm date or time window. Just like the other reviewers I can't help but wonder if this is a scam? If it is shame on you Angie's List for not investigating this company earlier and stop endorsing them.

Lenny came to our home stated he could start the next week. We gave him the 50% payment to purchase the supplies, the check cleared a few days later. That was the end of September 2020. He never came, nor has he returned our money despite multiple requests. We had no choice and had to hire someone else. Save yourself the grief, look for someone reliable and trustworthy that is not this person.

Lenny is a magician, he does a disappearing act after you pay him. I paid him the 50% deposit as per our contract on or about October 13, 2020. Lenny would never give me a verbal start date, just repeats "I'm next." He always picked up his phone until I paid him, then he stopped responding to phone calls and texts. I finally reached him and he claimed he was on a job near Bangor, Maine and had no cell service. He disappeared again, finally responded to my calls or texts and claimed he had to replace his phone and lost all his contacts. No idea why he couldn't just look at his paperwork and contact his clients. It has been over 30 days since we signed the contract and no work has been done at all. No surprise that he has not responded to my request to return my deposit. AVOID THIS COMPANY, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. .

It is true that we are running behind on our roofs because it has been raining, and we can't install asphalt shingles in the rain. We can install metal roofing in the rain, but not in the wind. Between the rain and the winds this past month, it has really played havoc with the schedule. I just want you to know that he is finishing a big job in Dover tomorrow and you are truly next. I am sorry if you have felt abandoned. Please accept my apology and if you need anything else, you can call me...I always answer. It has been a dog eat dog month and it appears that I am wearing the "Milk-Bone" underwear...LOL So feel free to call and vent to me. I hope you are well. Regards, Mary"

At first it is yes ma'm no ma'm all the way and returned calls immediately. He started all the different jobs and finished none-really who starts something then half wash moves on to another and so forth without finishing anything...Lenny does. First few days he was there on time, then after I gave him a deposit he began to not show up with excuses after excuses and finally went MIA and will not return any calls or messages. Now I have a deck that still need 2 4x4 post replaced with 6x6 and the camp still needs to be leveled. I had to finish the cable wiring myself as again it was half done. I have a shed which he was going to convert into a screen room with stripped wood exposed to the elements, and a groomed yard ready for the pave stones. NOTHING IS FINISHED! The lumbar yard that recommended him cannot even get a hold of him. DO NOT HIRE.

"the reason for this is because u jetted from Maine to irland and had problem getting ahold of you and didn't get paid my money so when u took off and I heard all the contractor around tell me they all have not received the money you have owed previous contractor I'm not wasting my time with it unless u are here I'm sorry"

Outstanding... very professional and respectful. Job was completed ahead of schedule. Quailty of work was impressive. Entire work area and surrounding yard was cleaned up perfectly. Mr. Keyes will be doing more work for us in future. I was thanked for my business, don't hear a lot of that these days. Keyes Construction is an outstanding company!!!

Keyes construction responded to my email within 24 hours. I needed a layer of metal and two layers of shingles removed and everything replaced. He was the best priced and completed the job within a weeks time. The workers were very professional and and showed me and my family nothing but respect. I see using Keyes Construction for all of my future projects! 10 out of 10

Stay away from these guys. See photos of what $4000 bought me before they quit. This is 5 weeks of progress. Multiple no shows. Poor workmanship. Who but joints trim work n instead of miter cuts? We will be heading to court if I have to pay more than what they quoted to finish the job . Wish I could post photos of the mess they left.

I had a bad contractor who gutted my house and left it. I called E&L and they came in and rescued the house. They were outstanding. They were quick, professional, and I would highly recommend them. They were trustworthy and I would definitely hire them again.
