Their prices are escalating severely. Prices for parts are two to three times those available in the markets. The service-trip (Call-out) fees can be up to $205!

It was excellent. I had a problem I was not sure wold be solved, and they solved it. I had lost the key for this antique secretary. I couoldn't open it, I had locked it and put the key in a proverbial safe place. $70 to come, make new keys and deliver them back here. That was a pleaant surprise if I do say so. I would be using them again if I have a lock problem.

Very responsive when there are issues. Completely silent under normal circumstances. Their monitoring is wireless, so there's no integration with the phone system. And the wireless connection for monitoring provides peace of mind in case the phone line is out for any reason when there's an alarm generating event.

I was locked out of my condo on a Saturday morning.  At a neighbors home, I called at least 5 locksmiths that advertised emergency lock out service.  All except Keyth's told me that they didn't have someone available because it was Saturday or there was no one available to provide the service.  The person that answered my call at Keyth's was very friendly and professional.  She told me that someone would be at my home within an hour.  The locksmith arrived early and was able to open my door in a short amount of time.

We have used Keyth twice, once to change our locks and another time to rekey our locks.  Great provider to use, easy scheduling, work is done well, would use again. <br />

This was an easy job for these guys.  They are real pros.  All was done in a timely fashion and we are quite happy with the results. <br />

When you get service as good as Keyth provides, you want to scream it from the rooftops. <br /> My fiance and I recently bought a house in a good but not great neighborhood of Chicago.  I heard Keyth was the best, so I gave them a call to change the locks and give me a quote on a security system.  They changed the locks on the day I took the property, great service, no issues.  Later that day, (on a Saturday) Keith Fisher, the owner of the company rings my doorbell to consult me on the security system.  This is a big company.  I was shocked that he was involved. <br /> Keith walked through my house.  He pointed out every vulnerability the house had.  Garage lighting, yard lighting, vulnerable windows, the durability of the locks and door frames.  He then questioned me on certain preferences of my living conditions:  Which room the home office was in, which windows I'll be opening, which door I'll be exiting.  He explained how a thief or attacker would break in and focus on my house and garage. <br /> Based on all of this, he gave me a customized security solution.  I went with his every recommendation.  It was a considerable amount of work.  His price was good considering the amount of work that went into it, and since it was more than I was originally intending to spend, he gave me flexible payment terms.  The installation was prompt and professional (a huge team of alarm specialists and electricians), and the post installation service was excellent. <br /> Now my house is nearly impenetrable and is secure as possible given my lifestyle.  I recommend calling these guys to do a similar analysis of your home.  Don't assume your house is safe because you slapped a security system in it that you saw on TV from the same people that offer you Cinemax.  These guys will help you protect your home and family.  They will increase the value of your home and give you better piece of mind. <br />

Keyth Locksmiths were recommended by our realtor after the purchase of our home. Their locksmith rekeyed or replaced approximately 10 deadbolts/locks. They were punctual and courteous. We had no problem scheduling a service call the day after we purchased our home. The locksmith worked quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to use Keyth in the future.  <br />

Joe Massa from Keyth  came out and provided us with a quote in 2011. We also received other quotes but ultimatley decided to go with Keyth.  <br /> We waited another year before we went through with the project and Joe Massa was very patient, not pushing us. I called him a year later and said we finally were able to complete the project. Joe was again very professional and 3 weeks later we had our system installed and ready to go. <br /> We have had no problems and the staff was very responsive with thequestons we had: whether they were about the terms of the contract or about the technology. <br />

They are very fast to respond and get someone out to do the project. All the people they send out are extremely skilled and professional. I know the job is done right.

Great experience from the call to schedule to the service appointment.

Randy was on time (or early?) and very pleasant.  He rekeyed our 5 locks and made keys to go with them.  He was very helpful in suggesting we get "maid keys" that would increase our security somewhat without having to get 5 different locks and 5 different keys installed.  The locks work perfectly--so smooth!  We spoke about many lock and security options available but he didn't try to persuade me to spend extra money.   He was very nice and informative and even told me how to change my garage lock code, which I had no idea how to do.  I will definitely use Keyth again. <br /> <br /> The price to rekey the locks itself wasn't high, but there is a service call fee that made it a little pricey for the work performed.  Overall, though, I was extremely happy and would pay the same amount again.

I arranged to have my home's 50 year old locks replaced. I also asked them to replace a bedroom door lock and knob that were broken. The young woman in the office was polite and efficient in taking my order. She gave me a complete accurate price in advance, and was able to schedule the work to be done at my convenience. The locksmith showed up on time as scheduled. He was friendly and competent. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and explained what he was doing. I was very pleased with the work and would definitely call them again if I need locksmith services.

Joe reinstalled the handle temporarily b/c he had to order a part. He came back the next week with the new part and installed it. I would use Keyth again.

It as excellent and they were very good except workers, they made a couple of holes and never did patch it up. I know that they had difficulties trying to wire throughout the house. In the end they did what they had to do but one thing I was disappointed with was that they didn't patch up the holes.

Called on Tuesday, August 31 to schedule and they were able to schedule on Thursday in the afternoon for work done. John arrived on-time at 1:00 pm and changed all of the required locks, including the lock for which we had never had the key. John also replaced the latch for the handle to the garage interior door that was stuck and broken and was done in a couple of hours and I signed off on the work and paid the initial 248. The fee structure was: service call: 65 cylinders@18 162 latch 20 Later, the next week, the latch began to stick again on and off, so I called on Friday 09/10/2010 and requested some warranty work, indicating that I thought that the lock would soon break as the last one had. The dispatcher scheduled Bryan to come out the next morning, Saturday, at no charge to look at the handle. Bryan arrived on time and replaced the latch with a new one. He also indicated that the handle itself was bent and would probably cause the latch to fail again in the future. On inquiry, he related that the cost to replace the handle with a sturdier one was about 80 and that he could order the part and return to install it when it was available. The following Tuesday, 09/14, Bryan returned with the new handle and installed it for $50 after crediting me for the labor and parts cost from the initial work on the handle. Bryan also explained how the doorframe and the door would conspire to make the bolt on the door misalign when the door was slammed, thus saving me some consternation (and personal trouble-shooting) later. The initial call I would rate as good. Professional, on-time, with a knock on price and on the handle that required follow-up. The warranty work by Bryan, along with thoughful explanation as well as the company policies that require prompt warranty service and permit the freedom to make appropriate price adjustments in the field make this an excellent report and experience.

KEYTH is definitely a great company to work with. Their price is quite reasonable (way lower than the quote I got from another reputable company) and their service is incredibly efficient. Knowing that I was anxious to get the lock work done ASAP, the owner himself actually came out on the same day to give me an estimate. With 35 years experience in business, he soon came up with a detailed plan for me. Rather than trying to sell me unnecessarily expensive hardwares, he helped me to come up with a thrift plan by switching two existing knobs without compromising security. Within two days since estimate, the actual work was done! The locksmith who did the job was very nice too. After completion of the work, the owner followed up more than once to see how the job went and if I had any other questions. He even helped me to contact the owner of my alarm system company (who happens to be a friend of his) to resolve some issues I had with my alarm system. I was thrilled!

After an attempted break-in (where the alarm scared off the would-be burglars) my basement door was askew. Representative came out and fixed door and alarm trigger and tested system.
