I recommend Kevin from KFG concrete he was on time call you back requested a quote came out on a Sunday took measurements of the steps came out Monday demolished them and next day the new steps were installed. I would hire him for any work that has to be done. He was very good and dependable.

There were some weather and technical problems, but Kevin was a complete pro. He gave us good and honest advice and delivered a superior project. I recommend highly.

Poured 12 yards of concrete. Very Professional. Communication was excellent. Prompt. No contract. All over email. Concrete truck did minor damage to driveway. Damage was told to me by KFG and they repaired it.

Great! On time and on budget. All calls returned immediately. Outstanding work and craftsmanship! This was a BIG job!

I hired KFG Concrete Construction and Landscaping in the fall of 2016. At that time I gave them a $1,000 deposit, and got a verbal assurance that I would be one of his first customers in the spring of 2017. This was important because he was putting a concrete patio around my in-ground pool. My ability to open the pool was contingent upon the patio being completed. It was a rainy spring and that did cause a delay for KFG Concrete, but when July came around, it became clear that weather was being used as an excuse and that obviously my project (even though KFG had been holding my deposit since the fall of 2016) was low on this company's list of priorities despite the promises that were being made. Finally, after several phone calls "pleading' to get the work started, KFG came out and did the work. That work was poor quality. The general pour and shape of the patio was done well, but the detail work was not at all performed the way a professional should do it. Pouring the cement resulted in the skimmer moving off-center so my vacuum no longer fit. KFG had to grind it down and thankfully, the vacuum does now fit but not at all as well as it used to (installing vacuum attachment requires much wiggling to get it in straight). The pool ladder anchors are not flush with the patio, and are raised to varying heights. Some are an inch, some 2 inches. KFG's owner, Kevin blamed this on the customer getting the wrong pool ladder anchors. Of course, he told me this AFTER the pour so there was little I could do about it, even if it were true. It isn't true. The pool anchors I purchased should have been flush with the concrete according to a neutral company who inspected the work. The pour itself was done on two different days, and the result is two different colors that do not match. KFG's excuse for that the concrete has not had time to cure, and that when the sealant was applied, it would all match. This was an obvious lie, the colors don't match. Not only that, it did not match the color we selected from KFG's brochure. KFG's owner even admitted that, and said that he called his supplier and yelled at him for that. Further, the cleanup after KFG was complete was very poor. Chunks of cement that was scraped off remained hardened on the sides of the new patio. My white fence was covered in dust, and my driveway, where KFG put a dumpster to put the old cement from the existing patio that was demolished, was ruined. There are cracks and deep grooves, and KFG's explanation for that was that their subcontractor overloaded the dumpster and that KFG "yelled at them for that." KFG admitted to these issues, and volunteered to let me keep the final $1000 I owed. KFG also agreed to refund an additional $1000. For months (August through October) I exchanged emails with the owner (which I would be glad to share with anyone contemplating using this company) wherein the owner promised he would refund the money. Several excuses later, the company reneged, which again, speaks volumes about how they treat customers. Promising one thing, doing another. I would not recommend hiring them.

We couldn't have gotten a better company to do our work. Kevin came out to look at our job and put to rest all of our concerns. He explained all of our options and took the time to answer all of our questions and thankfully gave us his honest opinion, which is what we went with. He knows what he is doing and I was happy to hear that there would be a wait for him to get to us. That means he is in demand. Kevin is friendly, honest, and all around great guy. His personality alone makes you want to hire him.

After calling a number of contractors for quotes on this project, we decided to go with KFG, as the pictures of Kevin's work looked really good, and he was extremely responsive and professional when I reached out to him to come take a look at the job ad provide a estimate. He came out very quickly and followed up with a quote. He was very helpful in discussing options and providing his input to help decide on some details of the project. It did take a little longer than expected to get started, but the weather is an uncontrollable factor and he was very good about answering questions and providing updates. Once work began, Kevin kept us informed, was very efficient and did a BEAUTIFUL job on the stamped patio and pre-cast concrete stairs that he installed. We are very happy with his work, and he was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend KFG Concrete.

While weather was a factor and delayed the project initially, when Kevin was finally ready to perform the work, he did so when he said he would and in the timeframe he said it would be done.

The project went very well! Kevin was very responsive regarding the timing of the project and was great at keeping in touch. He and his crew were courteous, friendly and professional. Kevin has an eye for design and made a great suggestion to the design and it made a big difference in the overall look. You should listen to him! I would hire him again.

The only issue was the weather....Kevin stayed in touch with us and it is all done now and it looks great!!! We are quite pleased with the outcome...it looks wonderful.

Excellent, I would recommend for his craftsmanship. Read fine print in contract, any problems that come up are homeowner's responsibility and expense. Never told us sprinkler would need to be cut & moved when he bid the project, instead left it hanging (literally). We had to get a crew out to fix it and the landscaping around the new patio which got trashed in the process of bringing in the concrete. Not exactly a turn-key project -- you have to invest in landscaping which can take alot of time and money after. Live and learn -- but Kevin's work is excellent and reasonably priced compared to other quotes we got. I would definitely recommend -- esp a year later with the grass grown back and the sprinklers fixed. We have a beautiful patio that increased our property value quite a bit. Thanks Kevin!!

went very well my walkway has an unusual pitch to it making it hard for me to walk down and Kevin did a wonderful job designing and creating a walkway I could comfortably use.  He even came back for an adjustment to at no charge to be sure I was very satisfied and comfortable with the job. <br>

Kevin arrived on time to take a look at the project and give us a quote. He was EXTREMELY professional. Not something you see these days anymore! We went over colors, ideas and layouts. We found Kevin on Angies List and went with him because of all of the wonderful reviews. They did not disappoint. At the first visit we spoke about wanting to clear an area of land as well but needed to find a landscaper. He said that he has a reputable landscaper that he partnered with on many projects and he was able to quote the two together for us! We were ecstatic. We received our quote within the week. We felt the price very reasonable for the amount of work we were looking to have accomplished. He even gave a discount on the built in fireplace (which came out BEAUTIFUL I might add.... We have a small backyard that until recently had not been able to use in the way we wanted... After this job was completed we now have an oasis to call our own. The landscaping that was done was not a small job, 3 smaller trees and all brush needed to be removed, dug out and new stone/dirt and seed was laid. That area is also something I look out at each morning with a sigh of relief. The grass has gown in beautifully aside from a small patch that was disrupted upon a shed install. (We will reseed that area soon) All of our neighbors are jealous of our new patio. It's become the neighborhood hangout for all of us on our street. My husband wit the help of a friend built an outside bar off of the stamped patio to make it even more inviting. I would recommend Kevin and his team as well as his landscaping partners to anyone looking to have their yard transformed. You won't believe your eyes when it's done!!! Our concrete stamped patio was approximately 450-500 sq feet and the area to clear and reseed was approximately 30 x 60 feet. I couldn't find my pics of the landscaping but haven included the concrete patio. It's dark now or I would take new ones for you to see how great it came out!

They did a good job. I didn't have any comparison for pricing. The quality was good.

Mr. G's associates did a beautiful job! A nicer and more hard working crew you will not find! They went above and beyond in every aspect. We were always kept aware of the next step and the final result is just perfect. We could not be more satisfied with our retaining wall (and our new driveway doesn't have a mark on it)! Would hire again in a heartbeat- Thank you for the great job guys!

This experience could not have gone better and the entire process was painless. I contacted Kevin through email and he gave me a quote. Within a week the job was complete. The work was excellent, the site was cleaned and even prepared for pavers being installed. Kevin was nothing but professional and an all around nice guy! Also, the price was great! I plan on having him install a stamped concrete patio next spring and would not have a second thought about hiring him for any project.

The yard made the installation challenging but Kevin and Steven (Simone and Sons) did a great job installing the stamped concrete patio and sod.  We have already received several complements and look forward to enjoying the patio and yard this summer.

Kevin was on time and explained what he was going to do and why. He answered any question that was asked of him. He is very polite and will not take any shortcuts.
