Great! Kimberlin Construction Company is the best. This is the most recent project we had done by them. As always they did a great job. Showed up when they said they would. Great crew and excellent craftsmanship. This is the fourth project we had done by them and we will definitely hire them again in the future. Best contractor we have ever worked with.

We had a bathroom renovation on the first floor completed by Kimberlin Construction. We were quite happy with the process of working with the owner, Gary, and his team from start to finish. They were reliable, professional and friendly. Gary was honest and fair in pricing. The work required making sure our heated floors did not get damaged, and Gary and his team were creative in developing a solution to protect our floors. The team was efficient in completing high-quality work.

It went perfect. Gary and his crew are our go to contractors for everything. They have done work on our house and landscape many times. I would trust them with everything. My kitchen pipe under the sink rusted out on New Years Eve one time. I called Gary and he was at our house and went to Home Depot just before it closed, for the parts and fixed it that night. Best Contractor ever. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Our home is 20 years old and due to some things that the original builders did during construction, we had excessive floor noise (squeaks and creaks) and the overall floor performance wasn't what it should be. I found Gary and Kimberlin Construction here, and after reviewing the site, talking to Gary, and sharing the specifics of our situation, he and his team were the right folks to come in and help us out. The overall job took three days, and I'm extremely happy with the results. The floor feels much better when walking on it, and the squeaks and creaks have effectively been eliminated. Throughout the job Gary and his team were professional, always on time, and took the time to both listen to the info that I shard, as well as explained what exactly they were going to do as well as what they did. They worked in a safe manner while in our home, something that is so important given the situation with COVID. The price was quite reasonable for the work that was done, and if I had to do it all over again I would. I whole-heartedly recommend Kimberlin Construction for any work that you need done, and I will certainly be using them again as needed for other repair or remodeling projects.

Gary Kimberlin's team did a great job for us with a series of small projects which were too big for a handyman, but apparently too small for most contractors. Most of the general contractors we contacted through Angie's List never never got back to us, but Gary treated us as valued customers from the start. Gary himself contacted us to provide a bid, and his responsiveness was exceptional. He spent about an hour with us taking measurements and discussing what we wanted to accomplish. Maybe we could have found a cheaper bid out there somewhere, but we were pleased with the punctuality and quality of the work, so I don't regret a cent that we spent. We had a series of small tasks which Gary's team performed over a couple of days. They arrived and departed when they said they would. First, they installed roll insulation in the crawl space under our living room. Rather than stapling the insulation in place, they recommended a slightly more expensive hanging system which allows the insulation to be removed and then put back without damaging it. Since additional remodeling is always a possibility, we appreciated the foresight on this issue. Second, we had planned to install a skylight in the living room, but Gary suggested can lighting instead, and I'm glad he did. Any time you punch a hole in the roof, it could leak, no matter how well you seal the edges. Can lighting was less expensive and created no possibility of leaks. We weren't happy with the first set of can lights Gary's team installed. Without complaint, Gary's team uninstalled them and replaced them with lights that we could swivel to highlight our artwork on the wall. We appreciated the team's flexibility and good attitude about the change. Third, the most complex portion of the job was repairing a wall and floor that had been damaged with pet urine. Gary's team removed the damaged baseboard, cut away the damaged carpet and pad, repainted the wall, and installed a new baseboard. This left a hole in the carpet which we covered with a throw rug, which was the solution of our choice. The repairs to the wall are seamless -- you'd never know the work had been done. Gary didn't press us to replace the whole carpet, which we weren't ready to do because our beloved older pet was still with us. The solution worked -- the smell is gone, and we didn't spend more than we wanted to. We'll complete that remodel another day. Last but not least, Gary's team did a thorough job cleaning and repairing the gutters. Small sections of guttering had come loose, which they refastened to the roofline. The one part of the remodel that didn't go as I had hoped pertained to a roofing issue. We had a gap in the soffit panels under the eaves. We had been concerned that a squirrel could climb through the hole and nest under the roof. Gary's team assessed the roofline and said that the hole in the soffit didn't communicate through to the attic, as far as they could tell, so the squirrels couldn't use it as a gateway. Unfortunately, that conclusion turned out to be incorrect. Six months later, we had to pay a wildlife control company to get squirrels out of our attic. The animal control team determined that the entry point was the hole in the soffit and installed a sheet metal cover for it. While the squirrel removal and roof repair were expensive, I don't fault Gary's team for mis-diagnosing the issue. Two other contractors/handymen had previously looked at the same problem and reached the same conclusion as Gary did, so obviously it was tricky. (We had had squirrels under the roof in a previous home, so I was concerned about this issue.) We look forward to work with Gary Kimberlin Construction again on a future remodel.

As others have stated, Gary appears to be the only contractor who works when he says he will (he and his crew showed up early that day after we met) and spends the time with you to go over every aspect of the type of work he is going to do. Nice, friendly, trustworthy. Great job and will hire again!

Kimberlin construction did beautiful work on our bathroom remodel. Gary is very responsive and his team was focused on providing the best service and excellent, high quality results. Overall it was a positive experience and we look forward to working with them again.

Gary was the only one to call us back. We had emailed and left messages for a total of 7 contractors. He was punctual and very thorough. We got a detailed bid including picture. The men working were on time, cleaned up after themselves and did quality work. We will use them again.

I cannot think of the words to describe how phenomenal our experience with Kimberlin was. They truly saved our home. Everyday they were on time and professional throughout the work. They walked us through the whole process and kept us calm through the project (a very complex and stressful project, in which we had several bad contractors previously).This was a very large job, they finished in 3 days! I really felt they focused on me and included me throughout the whole process. Their clean up was impeccable. The entire experience was amazing, we will use them for life. Gary, Bruce, Tim, Tom- the entire crew was on a level I've never seen.

no other flooring companies would take the job as we are currently living in the house and cannot perform let them completely rebuild the subfloor to remove squeaking of the old wood floor. Gary sent his workman Bruce to work nonstop in our house for two days and drove a hundred nails to the spots where it squeaks. although it is not a permanent fix, it solves most of the problems. it is a great relieve to us as we just had a baby.

It went very well. Gary Kimberlin is very creative and works closely with the customer. He makes sure that the project is done properly and the customer is satisfied. His follow through and follow up is very reassuring.

Gary was just awesome to work with from start to finish.  He began by really making an effort to understand exactly what we needed.  Since we were not totally sure of what the best solution was ourselves, he made suggestions and we went back and forth talking over different options.  He really listened which was so appreciated.  The work was absolutely great, done quickly for us and was exactly what we agreed on at the start.  We also appreciated the professionalism of the team doing the work.  Gary promised that they would clean up after themselves each day and not leave sawdust, drywall dust etc. in the house and they totally lived up to that promise.  I have no doubt we will be calling on Gary again for our next project. <br />

Kimberlin Construction was one of five contractors to bid on this job.  The owner, Gary, was the only one that had suggestions on how to get the product we wanted without spending excessive amounts of money.  His responsiveness was always prompt and communication was consistently open and professional.  He has a regular crew of workers that were a joy to work with.  They were courteous, friendly, knew their business, and got right to it.  The work site was left very clean at the end of each day and all materials were removed from the site immediately.  This was a very positive experience, and I would not hesitate to hire Gary and crew for any upcoming work at my residence. <br /> Thank you Gary, it was a pleasure doing business with you and your crew. <br />

Everything turned out well.  The two workers were straight-forward, explained everything clearly, and did a good job with the repairs.  Ultimately, I had no complaints, and I'd recommend them to others.

Gary and his team basically came in when a previous contractor had not been responsive. He picked up where they left off and did a tremendous job in pulling it all together. It turned out really well. I had them do a cedar deck, and it comes off a four season room so it works really work. They do good work, and Kimberlin has good people working for them and they are responsible. I have recommended them to people. Their prices are competitive. You get good work for their price!
