Kimmies Appliance Repair Inc is great. They came in and I had two possible projects for them. One was my washer and the other was my ice machine. He looked at the washer and told me exactly what I had expected. It was a major repair on an old machine and that I would be better off buying a new one. For the ice machine he called his supplier and got the ice maker and came right out to install it. I was very pleased with them, they were very professional. They did good work and I would use them again.

Stove top is working with the exception of light not going off as described above <br />

This is my second time using them and wouldn't hesitate to call again if needed. I had them clean my dryer vents and fix a leak in my washer. They had to order a new seal so it was completed on a different day but they kept in contact with me and let me know when the part arrived and when they were in-route to my house. Punctual and very nice. <br />

My Whirlpool dryer stopped working about 10 days ago (220 volt line checked out fine) and I needed to know whether the dryer could be repaired or would have to be replaced.  Kimmie's Appliance Repair promptly and courteously returned my initial call last Friday,  and an appointment was made for Monday afternoon that worked with my schedule. Owner technician John was prompt and totally professional in assessing the situation.  He soon advised that the dryer door switch had gone bad and would need to be replaced, that the necessary part could be in hand the very next day and quoted me a  most reasonable price including the part.  (I knew also that this repair meant two trips to my home for John.)  We agreed on today, one day after his initial visit, for repair work to be done.  And so it was!  Quickly, pleasantly and at slightly less than the original quote.  I could not be more pleased!!  If I ever need appliance repair again, I would call on Kimmie's  in a heartbeat.  Courtesy, speed of response, efficiency, value, professionalism all top drawer. John came out to fix a freezer frost problem and discovered that a shelf in the freezer was keeping the door from closing properly. No charge whatsoever. Now let me tell you something, they could have charged me a service call fee, but for that price they could never buy the amount of good will they got by being that kind and helpful. I will never use anyone else, ever, if I have an appliance in need of repair. My dad was in HVAC, and this is exactly how he operated his business, and he was repaid with loyalty from his customers. This is exactly what I am going to do with Kimmies, repay them with my patronage and loyalty. Thank you, John. <br />

I thought something was odd on Saturday morning around 10:00 a.m. when the tea I pulled from the refrigerator was not freezing cold like usual, but it was still very cold, so I didn't think anything of it.  At around 6:00 p.m., I got a bottle of water out of the refrigerator and it was barely cooler than room temperature.  I checked the freezer and all the items were defrosted. <br /> I ran to the 7-11 and got a bunch of ice and packed everything into coolers, thinking I would have to wait until Monday to get someone to repair the refrigerator.  I looked up appliance repairs on Angie's List (the normal way I look for help), and found that this company had Sunday hours.  I called and left a message at 7:18 p.m.  I received a call back very quickly from Mr. Morton and he asked me some questions about my refrigerator.  He diagnosed the problem based on my description and quoted me a price to fix it that night.  <br /> This was far beyond my expectations; I was hoping for Sunday at the earliest.  I eagerly accepted and Mr. and Mrs. Morton (the eponymous Kimmie) arrived at 8:15 p.m.  They got right to work and discovered that Mr. Morton's diagnosis was correct and repaired the refrigerator.  He also noticed that I hadn't cleaned behind the refrigerator in a long time (probably never) and he cleaned out the coils with his brush and my vacuum cleaner.  All the while, Mrs. Morton kept me company by chatting pleasantly. <br /> The entire process, from arrival to getting my receipt via email took 20 minutes (8:15 arrival and 8:35 email receipt).  I cannot envision a more prompt, pleasant, and professional experience. <br />

Called Kimmies based on Angies List reviews several months ago.  They seemed great on the phone and showed up when they said they would.  John, one of the owners, worked on our KitchenAid refrigerator that was not staying cold any longer, and we needed some parts for out GE oven.  Well it has been several months since John started working on the refridgerator and it still does not work correctly--after 5 visits I finally had to send him away.  We have lost hundreds of dollars in food, and we just don't trust his skills any longer.  He even put in a new ice maker over 2 weeks ago and it never worked from day one (he never tested it before he left)!  Now I am stuck with a broken refridgerator, no ice, and out hundreds of dollars in repair bills and food loss.  Regarding the oven--he took our broken handle with him months ago saying he would order the parts--we never received any parts and the oven door is still broken.  Our recommendation--stay as far away from this company as you can!! <br />

I called at 8am and they were here by 8:30.  Very trustworthy, nice and professional. Told me what the problem was and got is fixed for a great  price. I would highly recommend Kimmies applicance to anyone. <br />
