Another company told me I needed to have my coil replaced. They quoted 1,500.00 for labor, as the coil was under warranty. King gave me a second opinion. The leak was not in the coil but at a easy to reach coupling. They had me up and cooling in 2 hours, 300.00

The Technician (Cory) was early even though it was a Saturday. He quickly found the issue - a gecko blew my AC capacitor - gave me an estimate and then repaired it. They have a service plan that I decided to sign up for because the savings plus my Angie's List discount covered almost the whole cost and I still get 2 free service calls next year. Cory was quick, professional and courteous. Really like King AC and will definitely use again.

<p>Told us what why the furnace wasn't heating and had suggestions and fixed everything that was wrong that day. He didn't have some of the parts but he left and went and bought them. Excellent service!</p> <br />

Everything was done as described and more. We have a small, older (50's) home and this is definitely an improvement from the system we have lived with for the past 30 years. It took about 3 days; but the job was not finished until they were satisfied that everything was done correctly. They did a great job. He stuck with it until he got it done. He had to go run and get a part across Dallas. It took him about four days to get out of here on the time the A/C was down so it was really hot but once he got here he didn't push me off.

We wanted a complete system to replace our aging one. We knew we wanted a Trane system, and wanted a Specialist that could install, maintain and service the system. After several proposals, it was clear that King Air could meet our needs and expectations. The salesman listened to our concerns, surveyed our home, and was able to recommend the right type of <br /> system for us. He gave us several options, and never pushed us into buying a higher priced unit. Financing was also a big consideration, and he mentioned that we qualified for a ?special financing offer? through Trane. The day of installation, the crew <br /> arrived on time, were professional, knowledgeable, detailed oriented, and explained everything to us. Afterward, they did a walk through with us and gave us information on filter replacements, thermostat settings, etc. Their Premium Installation included a 29 point quality assurance checklist to guarantee the system was installed correctly and that we were completely satisfied. We highly recommend King Air for any of your heating and cooling needs. <br /> <br />

Let me just start from the phone call to this company. A very nice and professional Janna answered the phone by stating the name of her company and asking me how she could make me smile today! I immediately started smiling! What a great way to start off a service call. Then 15 minutes later Tom showed up to assess the problems with my two issues. The heating issue was due to a clogged flame sensor which he quickly repaired. The second issue was the UV light was improperly installed by Hobson A/C using only duct tape to secure it. Wow! And, it wasn't even installed in the proper location! I just asked Tom to seal the plenum area where it came unattached. I was very pleased with this company and will definitely use them again! <br />

I was shocked that they were able to have a technician available so promptly after my call - less than 2 hours and Tom arrived. I was even more shocked to get an email from King, prior to his arrival, with his picture. And, go one step further - they called me to tell me when he was about 10 minutes away. Service is truly King <br /> When Tom came in, I described the smell and where it was coming from. He went into the attic and took a look at my unit and ducts to see if he could identify the source. Since the smell was not consistent through-out the house or continual, Tom did his best to check any possible sources. He found no reason for it other than possibly smell from a blow dryer or portable fan that drifted through the vent and out when the A/C kicked on. I went ahead and asked for a full "spring check-up" and instead of me having to call back the office and schedule, he did it on the spot. I am very pleased with King and will contact them again in the winter for a furnace check-up.

I was able to get a technician to our house within 24 hours of my call. The King Air Conditioning employee, Bruce, showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to relate what was going on with the unit clearly and was able to fix the freon leak in the line in a timely manner. The service call was $49.95 (the other companies I called were $87) and the rest of the services were reasonable, as well. Let's face it, getting anything done to an AC unit is expensive. But, in this situation, I did not feel like I was price gouged. I would highly recommend King Air Conditioning to my Angie's List companions. <br />
