Going on 9 years old, I opened my laptop to the “blue screen of death.” I wasn’t ready to give it up and Chad’s expertise and skill helped me keep my PC. Chad and Wendy are friendly, courteous, professional and prompt. A new hard drive, reinstalled drivers and programs had my PC running like it was brand new again. Chad is able to access my computer via TeamViewer so he can work from home. Chad diagnosed the problem immediately and resolved my issue. He also 'cleaned up' a couple other issues I had (e.g. Chad removed a couple extra McAfee-type security program that I didn't realize I had installed which were slowing down my computer). I found Chad's name on Angie's List at least a year ago and have contacted him several times during that period of time for assistance. His expertise and knowledge is amazing.

Chad reinstalled it, and also resolved a printing problem. He arrived within 24 hours of my call, and everything was completely resolved when he left. I definitely would call him again, and I have his business card nearby if that call is needed.

Chad was quick to visit my house and get my daughter's desktop running again. He found that a combination of the latest system update and a couple of viruses had shut it down, and he took care of everything as fast as a system reset would allow. Waiting for Windows to fix itself was actually pretty entertaining when he told stories about his twenty years as an IT guy. He also gave me some great tips for virus-proofing all of the family PCs and mobiles! He's definitely my go-to guy for PC problems.

He arrived on time and got right to work. He had everything up and running in around 3 ½ hours. No messing around, no wasted time. I was very happy with his work, and felt that his time and price was very reasonable. On top of that, he also gave me a break because I’m a veteran. I really appreciate that. I intend to have him come back out for a short follow-up visit, and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a good computer expert.

9-18-17 My computer basically would not even boot up. I attempted all the normal fixes and tried to reinstall windows 10 but could not get it to even allow that. I contacted Chad and within a few minutes he had me dropping the laptop off at his home. Hands down the easiest and best experience you can have with someone. He was able to advise me my SSD hard drive was bad and I needed to replace it. He even suggested the best place to shop for one and what type to get for the best experience. I bought the new SSD dropped it off and the next day I was able to pick up my laptop. It was working better then new. Seriously if you have an issue with a pc and you are in the area give KingPin Computers your business. Excellent work and him and his wife are great to talk to. 10/10

Chad came to my house on a Sunday afternoon and we spent 2 hours going through my list of troublesome computer and printer issues. He gave me a lot of valuable information. He figured out why my printer was not working. He set me up with a new internet security/firewall service that I didn't have and desperately needed. I have "TeamViewer" on my computer now so that Chad can assist me remotely because I still have a lot of questions and issues that I don't know how to resolve by myself.

Chad was able to come out the same afternoon I called, and he had me set up in no time. This was a different brand of printer than I'd had before, and he took extra time in showing me the basics of how to work it. He also ran a security check on my computer and said everything looks great. Really appreciated all he did. He goes above and beyond!

I called on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to drop off my computer that very same day. Chad gave me an idea of what he was going to do to diagnose and correct the problem. The next day, I received a call in the late morning that everything was completed. The diagnostics were done, the error message resolved and my new hard drive and OS installed. The laptop was up and running. I was able to stop by that evening after work for the pick-up. Chad explained what was done and gave some pointers for proactive care. It was a good experience and I would definitely call Chad for future computer repair.

First off I never leave a review for anything, I guess that's because I never found a service that went so above and beyond that I had to take time out of my day to write a review. KingPin was better than I would have imagined, they did everything I would have wanted from a repair service and more from being very friendly to keeping in touch with me at every point to explaining everything that was happening and recommending what they would use/do. I honestly don't think there is anything computer related that they cannot do, and all for a price that I thought was going to be more. I will be going to them from now on without a doubt for anything I need for my computer hardware or software related and as a huge gamer it feels great to know I have them around and not have to worry about my computer problems.

Chad did a great job fixing my desktop - I thought all was lost or at best I would have to reinstall my operating system and lose all of my files. Chad was able to save everything and get the PC running again. It has been running the best it ever has. He also answered a lot of questions, gave me some advice and saved me from some future grief. He met the one week turn around time. Chad works out of his home which might put some people off but it was not a problem for me. I have been to the Geek Squad before and had less than satisfactory results.

Had problems with security program in that it was not doing its job. Not updating as needed, not always running a schedule scan as it was set up to do. Basic stuff I guess but was not able to fix problem myself

It was great to work with Chad. Very nice guy who listened to my concerns and answered every question that I had. Dropped of my laptop which seemed worthless to me because it was running extremely slow and I knew had many problems. He took it and fixed all the problems associated with it and my laptop has never run so fast and smooth. He explained what he did and gave me additional pointers to keep in mind about my laptop. He really cares about his customers and his work shows it. I will always go to him for any PC question or issue, and you should too!
