The paint process was ok but it didn't cover it well. It should be 3 coats but it didn't.

They worked with me before the process to figure out the color that I wanted the cabinets to be which was good. They completed the work on schedule. While I liked the color, I noticed immediately no shellac was applied on top of the paint which highly concerned me given that the cabinets would chip and scratch easily given their daily use in the kitchen. I was assured that shellac would be applied when they showed the color sample on the back of my own cabinets. I expressed this concern on several occasions upon talking with both Doug and Dennis but to no avail. Then when the chips and wearing around the handles occurred within the first several others, they attempted to explain it to both my husband and I that it was normal wear and tear. Unacceptable. There were also mistakes made in the evenness of the paint applied in several areas. They promised that they would take care of it but when Josh and I made a time and date for him to come out and pick up the cabinets, he didn't show up and didn't call. I have now found out that the company - Kitchen and Bath Options - I paid $4600 to refurnish my cabinets no longer exists and that Dennis and Josh have started their own company - Wood Renewal of River City. I am hoping that the new company will honor my 5 year warranty with Kitchen and Bath Options since Dennis was the one who supervised the work to be done in the first place. But since I am not receiving return phone calls from either, I am highly doubting it.

They did a great job!! I felt comfortable with the painters in my home. They were very friendly and neat as well. They also came when they said they would and completed the process in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone!

We could not be happier.  The crews were professional and efficient.  On time, and did very high quality work.  The process was completed over 4 days and involved multiple steps.  Each crew was great and did very high quality work.  The final finish crew was incredible, hand painted glazing on doors and molding and in the end we basically have a new kitchen at a fraction of what new cabinets would have cost.  Doug was right when he told us they are not the cheapest but they are definitely the best.  We got several other quotes and the process and the design vision was not there with others.  We felt confident with KBO and we are very, very happy. <br />

They did a great job! They painted all the cabinets and put new hinges and knobs on them. They were wonderful people to work with and they did an excellent job. Anything they weren?t pleased with, they re-did as they were perfectionist, which was nice! I had a lady who painted our kitchen and she was so impressed she asked for their card! They did an awesome job so I will have them work on a table and possibly some chairs for me later. They were on time, always called to make sure you were home, and they were always aiming to please. They were absolutely proud of their work and stood behind everything they did.

We couldn';t be happer with the work and results of the K&BO Team. Dennis, John, Josh and Chris performed a remarkable transformation of our 20 year old kitchen. Like a lot of us these days, we've had a plethora of bad experieinces everywhere from car dealer repairs, to restaurants, to retailers who fail to serve the customer and./or live up to their commitments - it'[s just hard to find people who will do what they say they're going to do these days. You can;t even get McDonalds to make a burger right any more. <br /> These guys renewed my faith that there are companies and people out there who will work hard to do the right things and do everything in their power tp exceedthe customer's expectations. AS with any job, there are always a few unforeseen obstacles. Dennis and his team didn't take short cuts or the easy route - they adjusted and took the time to do the job right. They accommodated all our adjustment requests and kept things cleaned up as much as possible given the scope of work. They never left a mess and made everything look like a totally custom install. <br /> Our custom cherry kitchen was showing it's age, and we wanted to refresh and also add upper soffit-level cabinets with glass doors and lights (I did install the puck light system), but they were kind enough to cut the recess holes for me.. We took a risk and had everything changed over to a satin white along with the new cabinets. We had a full U-shaped primary cabinet area, plus a fridge cove and pantry cabinet on another wall and a desk area with hutch doors and shelves across the kitchen. They did it all and with the dark hardware we had already replaced, it looks like a new end of the house !!!  We have a rolling 26" island cabinet we kept Cherry to ratain some contrast and consistency with the rest of the house and they refinished that piece to look like new as well. <br /> They worked soooo hard to make things look right, That's hard to find these days, so for us, we are super pleased and very thankful for all the work they guys put in. This service was amazing.  The cabinets (1960) look brand new.  The new doors have raised panels, hidden hinges, and look fabulous.  Our neighbors cannot believe how good these cabinets now look.  People are asking for the contact info for Kitchen and Bath Options.  The price beat the other quotes we had.  The process was very neat--cabinets were carefully taped off and did not need to be emptied.  The kitchen was never a mess.  Doug and Dennis created two new drawers and had the tip-downs under the sink panel.  We could not be more pleased.  We highly recommend Doug and Dennis and their work.  They really go the extra mile to be sure everything is the way it should be.  Great people to work with, as are the men they employ. <br />

Overall it went very well.  We were impressed with how well it looked when they were finished.  We later found a couple of rough spots so we called them back and asked that they return to fix them.  They showed up within a few days to re-sand and re-finish those few spots that weren't quite right.  They didn't give us any problems and acted with great professionalism.

The work was way faster than I anticipated. The guys were careful to keep the mess confined to the kitchen and were great about cleaning up after they were done. My kitchen is beautiful and I love it!  Please hire them and write a review for them!

The team at nHance (and Dennis the owner specifically) were fantastic. My expectations were much lower than the "scope" items I list above.  I just expected my doors back on my porch looking "better but far from perfect."  nHance set an expectation that was realistic, then set about exceeding it.  <br /> They were careful in removing the doors and hardware. I had asked they refinish elsewhere to avoid the activity and chemicals in my home (I have young children). I was anxious when my doors left, knowing they are near irriplaceable due to thier age.  The owner was very happy to sign for receipt of the doors (a nice extra).  nHance returned the doors one week later, minus one they felt "they hadn't done a good enough job on" which was brought back a day later.  <br /> The doors look like new. I had a realistic expectation, and they absolutely exceeded it. It actually seems impossible they could do so much in so little time unless they had seven guys working in parallel.  <br /> The door brought back one day after the others had a panel pushed out on top.  It was fully 3/8 of an inch protruding past the rest of the door on the bottom, with a very large splinter/piece missing, about an inch wide and four inches long.  I'd have tried to match it with wood putty.  My expectation was that they would stain this area to reduce visibility, but I had no expectation they would repair it.  nHance didn't explain how they got the panel reset or how they filled in that hole, but it even has perfect woodgrain.  Obviously they have depth of experience working with wood. <br /> I fully intend to do more business with this crew.  They are fast, do great work, and thier prices are ver fair indeed.  How do you refinish all sides of seven 10' hardwood doors, including repairs, for that price?  I'm already lining them up to do some work on my hardwood floors. <br /> A further note.  The attitude presented to us by all of thier staff was professional, courteous, and at all times good humored.  Attitude means a lot, and thiers was good all around.
