"Thank you for being a repeat customer! We are always honored when a customer comes to us with a second job!"
"Thank you! Glad to help!"
"As always, we are very disappointed when a customer is not completely satisfied with our work. The customer is correct regarding the measurements being off. The refrigerator depth was not taken into consideration for the aisle width. However, we did move the island to their liking and even offered to make it smaller to accommodate the aisle. They declined a smaller island because they wanted the island to fit 2 [Member Information Removed]. They agreed with the current placement. The door has been a tricky one due to the concrete stem wall. We have made several adjustments and at this writing, we will be making another. We will make sure the customer is satisfied."
"Would love to have more specific information regarding design. Sometimes the overall design is a good one, but maybe one thing that seems odd? Also, was something on the hand drawing difficult to understand? Thanks!"
"Thank you for your review! Glad you chose us for your project. We appreciate you taking the time to review us on Angie's list."
"Thank you for choosing Kitchen Design Center to complete your project. We like how it turned out too!"
"Thank you for choosing Kitchen Design Center for your job.. We appreciate each and every one of our customers!!"
"We appreciated the opportunity to remodel Rebecca’s bathroom and install new flooring in her utility room. The scope of this job included tearing out old fixtures, flooring and the visible wall rot. We provided sheetrock work, plumbing fixtures and labor, new wall and medicine cabinets with installation, tile flooring for bathroom and utility room, cultured marble counter top with bowl all of which was included in the original contract price. Our 10 page Contracts and 4 to 5 page Project List, were provided to this customer at contract signing. Both documents are very detailed with what is included in the contract price and what is not included. Section 7 “Premises” of this contract states in the first paragraph: “the contract price does not include a contingency for unobserved conditions in the property or the structure, that, if encountered will lead to additional construction time or costs”. This section was acknowledged, by customer initials at bottom of page. Typically for Kitchen Design Center, entering a crawl space, going under a home is not part of the bathroom remodel bidding process, and even then, you cannot see the total scope of the damage until the area is opened up. We are not in business to gouge customers because we have extra work to be done on the job. We charge the same rates for everyone. A bidding process takes time, more than 15 minutes. An appointment is made, the jobsite is visited, measured and customer wants taken into consideration. Then several hours are spent compiling the bid, which consists of a detailed contract and a detailed project list. An appointment is made for the customer to come into the shop and documents are reviewed in detail. We encourage our customers to review the documents before signing, and ask questions. We absolutely strive to end each and every job with a well satisfied customer. When a customer expresses dissatisfaction, we pay attention, learn and make changes to improve what services and products we provide."
"The following is a response to the issues expressed by the customer. ..We offered to replace the 4 hole sink, but she declined. She would not have been without a sink, because the 4 hole would have stayed installed until we had the 3 hole installed, which she was aware of. We did give her a stainless steel soap dispenser for the 4th hole at no extra charge, even though she could have had the 3 hole she wanted. ..3 days is a minimal amount of time to be without a complete working kitchen when a remodel is taking place. We strive to group our subcontractors together to limit that time. ..We did not order enough tile because the customer changed the tile layout during the install, thus having to order more. We received the tile the next day and promptly installed it. .. The Jenn Air range was measured incorrectly by our subcontractor, and was corrected the next day. .. The countertop was sloping due to inadequate support installation prior to Kitchen Design Center work being done. We were informed of the slope by our tile contractor, and we fixed the issue with brackets, once again, at no extra cost to the customer. .. The trim piece was brought to our attention at the final walk through. We discussed this with the installer. The installer explained the whole kitchen was out of square, which is typical of older kitchens’ and cabinetry. He did his best to apply the trim to the out of square cabinetry. ..Yep, I did hang up on her, which I have never done with another customer. She had previously made an agreement to pay the majority of her balance due, (significant amount) and hold a small amount until 16 handles were installed at the final walk through. This involved a screwdriver. She decided to not pay, without notifying Kitchen Design Center, until the owner did the final walk through because he had "rescheduled several times." In actuality he tried to schedule with her 2 weeks prior, but she had family in town and could not find time to have him do a walk through. He rescheduled twice because of unforeseen personal circumstances, which rarely happens. From the time he rescheduled to the actual appointment was 4 days. We do our best to please our customers, but unfortunately there are those that you cannot."
"Thank you! We have a good team here at Kitchen Design Center and I am glad we could put everything in order for your new bathroom! Enjoy!"
"Thank you! I will pass along your positive comments to Chris! We appreciate you choosing Kitchen Design Center for your project."
"Thank you [members name]! We really appreciate the time our customers take to write a review. We value the feedback. It gives us tools to improve when needed, and enforces our commitment to customer service. I liked the "friendly helper" title,, , and never really liked "salespeople" so much because it does encompass what we really do! Of course we are happy your like and are enjoying the completed project. We are here if you need us in the future!"
"I am sorry your experience with Kitchen Design Center was not a good one. Unfortunately we destroy files after 7 years, so I cannot look to see what might have gone wrong and offer a better response. I can say that we would have addressed and fixed the venting issue had we known about it. We do strive to work with our customers on issues and I am sorry we were not given that opportunity."
"Thank you for your positive review. We know it takes time to respond and we appreciate that. We hope you enjoy your project for years to come!"
"Thank you for the review. Occasionally errors occur and I apologize for that. I am glad we could rectify the error quickly and satisfactorily. We appreciate being given the opportunity to do the work for your project! Enjoy!"
"Thank you for sending a review to Angie's List. We are always appreciative to have repeat customers! Thank you for allowing us to complete another remodel for you!"
