Roger from Kitchen Krafters and his team completed another successful project with us. This time around it was updating bathrooms and installing a beautiful built in fireplace/TV surround. As always, the work was excellent, done on time, and with top notch materials.

My basement remodel turned out as I hoped and looked just as drawn up by a separate architect. Much of the work and cost was re-routing plumbing, electrical and HVAC to get the most floor and ceiling space, and the subcontractors were great. Roger's attention to detail ensured and I was happy with the quality of all the subs. He was very responsive and always answered my questions in a timely manner. He had good suggestions as the project progressed. I had to do a bit of work on my own for the permits as not licensed in Milwaukee, but it was not too difficult as I already had the architect's plans. I also did a bit of running around for some supplies which helped keep a few costs down. Overall, although the cost was higher than I had hoped, I am really enjoying the space and happy I did it.

Roger always makes sure the job is done right! He and his team do great work and are pleasant and honest.

We purchased a 1924 bungalow in early 2021, which still had the original and not very functional kitchen. We enjoyed working with Roger from Kitchen Krafters in part due to his enthusiasm for old houses. He helped us to create a plan for remodel which made the kitchen much more functional, using some slight movement of walls and opening of space while also still mostly retaining the original charm of the house. We appreciated his flexibility, as he was able to start the dirtier demolition and rough work before we actually moved in, by adjusting his own schedule somewhat. He is very detail oriented, and he identified and corrected a structural problem in the basement that would have eventually become a larger problem and which could easily have been ignored by a contractor working in the kitchen upstairs. The finished product is beautiful and meticulously installed. Work included replacing all electrical/plumbing, reframing two walls, restoring hardwood floor that had been covered with linoleum for many years, new cupboards/back splash/quartz counters, and all in a newly designed configuration. We do have one concern that is not the fault of Kitchen Krafters. They only use cabinetry from one company, and we have been disappointed with the finish on that cabinetry (white), as the paint has been wearing off the corners of several of the drawers despite careful use over the past 8 months. Roger has been really helpful in touching up some of these areas even though he's been done with our job for 8 months now, and so that really speaks to the quality of his company. But, I would recommend that other cabinet manufacturers being considered for future use.

We have used Kitchen Krafters for two major renovation projects in 2019 and 2021. We purchased a fixer-upper home needing a lot of work. Roger had a lot of ideas and was very responsive to our needs. He was able to turn a tiny, inoperable kitchen into an amazing open concept space that is the now the center of our home. He helped us to redesign our master bedroom and bathroom, which involved moving walls/plumbing and building a new closet, to make the space more efficient and conducive to our needs. He is very trustworthy and responsive, especially if you need him to resolve any issues.

We have used Roger before to remodel our kitchen and knew that he would do a great job in remodeling our bathrooms. It was a little tough getting workers in to do the job, due to the high demand of labor. This problem and the delay in getting started after demo, created a longer process than we would have liked. However, the end result was great and we really enjoy the final results.

We had an excellent experience with Roger and Kitchen Krafters. We needed a bathroom remodel plus work on other rooms due to a leak. We were overwhelmed and unprepared for a remodel, but Roger walked us thru every step of the process. He made sure we understood the process and the costs before we started. His crews did great work and he was there to check the work at every step, calling them back if it was not done to his or our standards. We were very happy with the frequency and ease of communication we had with Roger, the transparency of the process and the outcome. We love our new beautiful bathroom and when we are ready to remodel our kitchen we will be calling Kitchen Krafters.

Roger by far exceeded our expectations for our kitchen remodel. He is professional yet down to earth. He worked with us to get exactly the kitchen we wanted and we couldn't be happier. When issues came up, he explained them to us clearly with as much detail as we wanted. His subs were very respectful and always on time. Three words: Attention. To. Detail. I have owed several houses and have had multiple remodels, and this is the only one I can say was done correctly, to my satisfaction, and was even enjoyable. Roger works very hard to make sure that everything is right, and he is involved, reachable, and responsive throughout the whole process. Any materials or workmen he uses are top-notch. People come on time and every day, work hard, are pleasant and friendly, and most importantly, they are respectful and clean up every single day. I have never had experiences like this. I can trust Roger to be on top of things and communicate with me. Everyone is certified, contracts are in writing, and he pulls the permits. Very professional. You get what you pay for. Roger is very knowledgeable and I am glad to have worked with him. These projects have added value and enjoyment to my home!

We now have a lovely kitchen that is a pleasure to work and live in. Our home is over 70 years old and past remodeling made for some strange surprises. Roger finds ways to fix problem areas correctly. He is detail oriented and carefully monitors the work of all the subcontractors, having them correct things not up to his standards. Roger installed the cabinets and did all the finish carpentry himself- his perfectionism here is much appreciated. The color scheme we chose is not commonly used; after looking several places for tile, we found only one match for the back splash. It was very costly ,so we settled on white subway tile. But before it was time for installation, Roger found the sea green glass tiles that make our kitchen perfect. In addition to our kitchen we had some door problems that he also took care of for us, Overall, working and getting to know Roger has been a very positive experience. We look forward to hiring him in the future.

We had a great experience with Roger from Kitchen Krafters. He was responsive to our requests and any concerns we had about the work being done, always striving to ensure the work was completed to perfection and the quality was top notch. He offered good ideas, while also respecting when our ideas differed. Our outdated and non-functional kitchen/living room/dining room has been transformed into the focal point of our home!

We wanted a complete kitchen remodel along with creating an open concept family /kitchen/dining room. After meeting with a few local contractors we chose Roger and Kitchen Krafters. This was a very large project which encompassed our entire main floor. He took the time needed to meet with us over the course of several months to plan our project. He also spent time educating us on the best ways to maximize our dollars spent for the maximum impact towards our vision and to stay close to our budget. He would give great options where monies may be better spent or where he thought we wouldn't want to pass up or cut corners on certain areas, revisiting this with us along the continuum of the project. Ultimately he came up with the perfect layout to accommodate the open space we wanted along with a large island, plenty of cabinets, and functional space. He did all of this in a relatively small space, but made it feel large yet cozy. Roger created more space for us in our dining room by bumping out a wall. He also removed an existing wall and part of another wall to open up our space. This in turn created rerouting some electrical and venting, which all worked out very well. We bought our own flooring, (bamboo which we love) and his crew installed it doing a marvelous job. In the end Roger talked us into doing the bamboo on the entire main floor, and we couldn't be happier with it! Needless to say with all of this renovation we were limited to our upstairs and basement. When we were home while his crews were working they were respectful and efficient. We are now able to entertain at our large island, enjoy the family room space, and work in our kitchen without being on top of one another. His work is immaculate! He installs all the cabinets himself, and they are gorgeous and functional. The cabinets truly are the crown jewel of the project! Roger also installed a fantastic hood vent for us. His tile worker beautifully installed our subway tile, and we couldn't imagine our kitchen without it- a true WOW factor. It is our back splash and climbs the wall behind our hood. Getting the floor boards ordered and installed was a headache which we hadn't anticipated, but that also turned out wonderfully despite the extra work and price tag. There were a few bumps along the way as there are with any project, but the end result is truly magnificent! Lighting was a another huge project. We had our dining room chandelier moved, had under mount cabinet lighting installed, new dimmers, recessed lighting throughout the kitchen, hallway, and some in family room, and pendants added over the island. Just deciding which lights to use is exciting and fun, and they are all amazing! Lighting changed the look of the entire space. We would gladly and enthusiastically hire Roger again and we highly recommend Roger and his crews for your next job.

We hired Roger to remodel the kitchen and two bathrooms in a house we had just purchased, to paint the entire interior and to refinish all the wood floors. We are very happy with how it turned out - the kitchen is really beautiful, as are the bathrooms. They look great while maintaining the house's original character. Roger is very focused on quality and it shows in the final product. Roger was also able to get the job done relatively quickly. We needed to move into the house five weeks after the start date, so we agreed that the initial focus would be on completely finishing the upstairs by that time. He worked quickly to get the upstairs/bathroom completed prior to our moving in, and was very respectful of our schedule once we did. The entire project was completed in less than three months. Roger is also very communicative - we texted multiple times almost every day - and the quick communication helped keep the project moving.

One of our greater achievements in life was to hire Roger to remodel our kitchen which we found to be no longer functional. He helped us turn it into something fabulous. It is beautiful, functional and we have more cabinet space than expected. Roger is professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and detail oriented. We had a few bumps in the road which wasn’t unexpected and some of that was our doing. He tackled our kitchen remodel as if it was his own. He stayed within our budget and time frame (again some of our doing for going over a little on both) and addressed any issues immediately. Thank you so much, Roger. We love our new kitchen. I’ll start by saying we absolutely love the way our kitchen and bath turned out. One of the main reasons we hired Kitchen Krafters to do our complete kitchen and bath remodel was because we thought Roger would be able to stick closest to our budget. In our initial meetings, he provided a detailed estimate and had great ideas on how to make a more efficient design for our kitchen and how to maximize the space in our powder room. He did not disappoint! Both our kitchen and powder room were taken down to the studs, the water and gas lines were moved, a new window and vented hood installed, and both a weight-bearing wall and the wall to the dining room were both demo’d. He even removed and relocated one of our built-in China cabinets from the dining room to the living room, so we wouldn’t lose an original feature of our house as well as the extra storage space. This was a big job, and he was able to stick to his timeline and most importantly stay close to our budget. Outside of a few unforeseen repairs due to the age of our home (1940s), the renovation ran pretty smoothly. Roger responded to emails and texts in a timely manner. He worked well with his subcontractors to ensure a quality job and they kept a clean workspace. Roger was also one of the few contractors we met with initially who was willing to work with an outside company to complete our countertops. We do feel that organization was an area that could be improved upon in the future. Written communication was requested before the project began including a timeline and breakdown of the different phases of the project including a list of the subcontractors and their timelines. We were never formally given this. We did receive a text with a weekly rollout, which was helpful, but again didn’t give us much of a heads up for things coming up. This caused us to need to make some decisions in a short time frame that caused additional stress. At times, we felt it was unclear when materials needed to be chosen, ordered, and delivered and through which vendors or when payments were due. With that said, when our concerns were communicated, Roger did do what it took to clarify or fix the problem. He would break down costs to see where he could save us some money and he would fix the problem as we saw fit. The additional work was always done at a fair price. It has now been a few months since the work has been finished. We can honestly say this remodel was a huge investment in our home and one we are enjoying more than we could’ve imagined. Roger was a pleasure to work with and had a great rapport with our children, which we believe speaks volume on a person’s character. We wouldn’t hesitate to give Roger a call to provide us with an estimate and design for any future projects.

My 1920s house has a small kitchen where space was not used well and an attached small bathroom with no sink. Roger provided great recommendations on how to redesign the space and expand the bathroom to fit a pedestal sink. He listened to what I wanted and provided good advice on design that fit with the style and age of the house. Inevitably issues come up with redesign in an old house, and Roger clearly explained options to address them and kept my budget in mind. He was able to reinforce second floor at reasonable cost and quality work to ensure not only that it was up to code but also structurally sound. The cabinets he uses are high quality and helped guide me through the numerous options available. He provided quality workmanship and demanded the same from the teams you used. When the paint quality was not good, he ensured it was redone until it met my approval. When I wasn't satisfied with design of the base boards in the bathroom, he came back and adjusted. I found the best way to avoid any misunderstandings was to keep in constant contact and ask a lot of questions no matter how dumb they may seem. Roger was always quick with his responses and explained options or his recommendations. I would use him again.

When I embarked on this project, I had high expectations for my contractor's professionalism, value, subcontractors, finish work, and more. Roger met them. Like many, I've dreamed of redesigning a kitchen and home for many years and took the opportunity very seriously and with some nerves. I'm a detail-oriented person, had a tight timetable, and have been underwhelmed by contractors in the past. <br /> From the moment Roger first walked into my house to the day of final touch-ups, he was 100% invested in my remodeling project and my satisfaction as a customer. Initially, I loved his enthusiasm for playing with design ideas and commitment to working within my tight time frame. As the project went on, I was pleased to see that, despite a variety of subs and a couple of small unexpected things to come up, Roger took calm, steadfast responsibility for the work and pride in the final product. He even helped me out when, in the 11th hour, I realized I couldn't complete a couple projects that I had taken on myself. I can't thank him enough for helping me to create the dream home that now brings so much joy to my family. I look forward to hiring Roger again. <br />

Roger helped us achieve the new kitchen we?ve been dreaming of quickly and without any issues!!  He had a ton of ideas to help us with our first big home project and was very open to discuss alternative ideas to save costs.  Other contractors had easily dismissed us since it's not a $50k job but Roger was patient and took the time to walk us through everything.  Since our house was very old I was afraid of major problems coming up but Roger?s extensive knowledge put our minds at ease.  When we wanted changes he easily adapted to them.  Work was completed on time and within the schedule he set out right in the beginning.  He kept in constant contact with us for everything and always was available to answer questions.  We learned a lot in the process too!  Can?t wait for the next project and I?m sure I?ll call Roger to do it! <br />
