KJS showed up about 30 minutes after we called them and went right to work putting up air-movers and a huge dehumidifier. They removed the carpet padding that was soaked and checked for any additional damage that could have been caused by the water. Three days later they removed the drying equipment and returned a week after that to do the carpet repair and cleaning. They were always professional and easy to reach in case of questions. KJS was conscientious enough to recommend not getting the carpet fixed and cleaned on an extremely rainy day because they said it would take a long time to dry. I appreciated their concern. The carpet looks/smells great and there is no hint of mold in the basement. I would call them again without hesitation if needed.

It all went  very well, and I highly recommend Steve Katleman and his teams. They were always prompt, efficient, friendly, and professional. They explained every step beforehand and completed all the work very well. Rotating the teams through went easily without waiting days or even hours. By the 27th they were done and left a happy customer! <br />

Steve and crew were always professional and always went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us resolve our issues.  They were always prompt in responding to our situations and very flexible in the scheduling working with us when it came time to pick up their equipment.  I fully recommend KJS and will use them again in the future if the need every arises.

We had used KJS before for cleanup related to a sewer line backup and were happy with their work, so we had high expectations when we hired them a second time.  This time, we asked them to get rid of all of the dirt, rocks, and dust left behind after two separate contractors did extensive jackhammering in our basement, first to replace the sewer line, and then to install drainage under our basement slab.  KJS gave us an estimate via e-mail since they already were familiar with our basement.  We then scheduled them, and they arrived right on time.  They stayed for several hours and cleaned just about every surface in our basement, even wiping down all of our storage bins, boxes, and other belongings that had accumulated a thick layer of construction dust.  Our basement now looks and smells much better.  We hope we'll never need this type of service again, but if we do, Kim, Jaime, and Steve will be our first call.  <br />

KJS was very attentive and prompt with their service. The time spent attending to our needs made us feel like we were their only customers, even though I knew they were helping other people. As this was the first time this had happend in a home of ours we had no idea where to begin. In this regard, KJS, was great. They came in and did what they needed to do. Most of the cost, however, is not the labor of removing the wet materials, but rather the rental of the equipment to dry the wet areas. This was a surprise to us, but I don't blame KJS for this. This was just how their service works out. It would have been the same if I called ServPro. Steve, the owner, was also prompt with writing us an invoice for our insurance to help keep things moving on our claim. We were thoroughly satisfied with KJS and would recommend them to anyone.

When we discovered that a leaking water pipe had spewed at least an inch of water all over our storage room and into the carpeted hallway plus one bedroom.  We were horrified.  It was a Sunday afternoon.  We called our regular plumber who came within an hour to fix the leak.  I called KJS Complete Cleaning Services and they showed up within 45 minutes!  This was a Sunday afternoon!  The two men were exceedingly professional and spent several hours soaking up the water, removing the saturated carpet padding, taking the one ruined bedroom carpet out, and - finally - setting up big fans and dehumidifiers.  The company sent someone to the house several days later who judged that we needed the fans a few days longer to be sure the basement was perfectly dry.  We feel so fortunate to have had this company help us out.  We give them A+ for their professionalism and competent work. <br />

I had water damage to my condo floors from a leak in my air conditioner / heat convector unit. Steve the owner was very professional on the phone, very clear about how the process worked and how he would work with my insurance provider. He came over in less than an hour with 2 technicians who worked quickly to pull up my parquet floor, vacum the water, cut some drywall and then applied a spray everywhere necessary to prevent the growth of mold.  They were quick and efficient.  They left 2 dryers and a huge industrial dehumidifier in my living room for three days to make sure everything is bone dry.....the dehumidfier works so well and I'm amazed at the water its draining via a long hose into my sink....very happy with their service <br />

KJS was fantastic.  Came out the day we called and were very helpful, honest and professional.  They did a great job cleaning our carpet and worked with the insurance company when necessary.  Strongly recommend and would definitely use them again. <br />

Service was absolutely flawless. I emailed them on Saturday, not expecting a reply until Monday.  Steve Katleman called me immediately on Saturday and came over to inspect and give me an estimate.  Work was performed 2 days later, exactly as Steve described it.  They arrived on time, even early.  They enclosed the area in thick plastic and set up an air scrubber that was to run all night. I confess that I didn't realize how loud the air scrubber would be...I would probably have been happier if I'd spent the night elsewhere. The next morning, Steve returned to remove the air scrubber and take down the plastic.  The area was spotless (likely cleaner than they'd found it).  The final bill was the same as the estimate. <br /> While I hope not to have water damage in the future, if it happens I will definitely call KJS again. <br />

Went great - they were at my house a few hours after I called.  very easy to work with.  Made me feel like the whole mess was much more manageable than I initially thought. <br />

We had a fire at our townhouse a month ago, and the fire department hosed down all three levels with water. Unfortunately, the insurance company requested that we stay out of the house for 5 days until after they completed their investigation. By that point, the carpet and drywall were no longer salvageable.  <br /> Steve from KJS came out and gave us an estimate well under 24 hours of when I called him, and they began removal of all the wet materials the morning after I gave the "go-ahead" notice. Steve has had excellent communication throughout the process, from the first discussion to the final invoice. The quality of the work appeared to be excellent and exactly in line with what we had agreed upon. KJS was also an excellent value for the work being performed, coming in almost 40% lower than some of the other estimates we had received for similar work. I highly recommend them, and in the unfortunate circumstance where we'd ever need their help again, I would reach out to Steve at KJS without hesitation.  <br />

Kim and Steve showed up about 2 hours after my call and went right to work.  They identify the damaged areas very quickly and describe a course of action for me.  The pulled up the carpet and took out the wet pad...place three blowers and a dehumidifier to dry up the water.  A new team came by on Tuesday to place new padding ..repair the seams and clean the carpet.  All in all a good experience considering. Great job guys..thanks! <br />

We had just purchased our townhouse and the main supply pipe burst, causing flooding in our laundry room and carpeted basement. <br /> KJS was extremely responsive to our call and was out to our house within a  couple hours of our call. They were very helpful in explaining the insurance claims process and amount due over the initial phone call, so I knew what to expect upon their arrival. They assessed both the carpet water damage and drywall damage, and immediately set up drying the carpet and removing the damp drywall. <br /> We received estimates for both water remediation (including installation  of padding, and carpet cleaning) and drywall repair. They were great working with our insurance company and knew what forms to submit, etc. Made it very easy to manage on our end, and we received final invoices on the completion date. <br /> They checked back each day during carpet drying to make sure that the fans were still set up and working properly and they were able to move very quickly with the padding/carpet/drywall repairs. The carpet cleaning was great, and they even cleaned the carpeted stairs, even though they weren't damaged. <br /> The drywall installation was excellent - the only thing was the workers painted over a few of the electrical outlets, but when we reported that issue to Steve, he made sure that someone came out to take care of those soon after we mentioned it. The responsiveness throughout the process, and punctuality were great. <br />

KJS responded in a matter of two hours from my first call.  They were friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough.  They brought up my carpet in the affected areas and removed the carpet padding that was wet.  They then removed baseboards that were wet.  I had a Pergo floor that they suggested I take up as well (I didn't want to) and found a good amount of standing water under it.  They did only what they needed to.  Steve (the owner) and Jaime were very attentive to our basement.  They both went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.  Steve wrote up multiple estimates for myself and a thorough one for the insurance company.  Steve even offered to write up an estimate to replace the baseboards and fix minor drywall areas (as this is not part of what you are paying them to do).  Their service is only to pevent the growth of mold, not repairing the damage (this is great to know ahead of time).  I would highly recommend doing business with this company. <br />

Excellent.  I called on a Saturday morning, and they came that same day.  They were very up front regarding cost, and the final price ended up being completely within the range they had given us.  In fact, it was at the very bottom of that range.  Kim was great on the phone, Jaime did great work in the basement, and Steve could not have been nicer when he came back to pick up the fans and give us an estimate on another issue in our basement.  It is their company, and you can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do.  We thought the price seemed quite fair, given the extent of the work and that it was on a weekend.  I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and have already passed their name to a friend.

I returned from a trip and discovered water in my basement. <br /> I called several companies to address the water issue but only KJS responded within a reasonable time frame. <br /> They arrived as scheduled and quickly set up their equipment to dry out the basement. <br /> <br /> <br />

KJS's representative was responsive when I called on Friday morning and they were able to have someone come to the house and detail the needed work on the SAME day.  Steve K. did a thorough inspection of the damage, detailed in an estimate all work and associated costs and provide pictures of the damage so I could use them in support of an insurance claim.  The services provided included removal of damaged carpet padding (carpet was able to be saved), baseboard, drying of carpets and wood work and restoration.  Steve was able to get everything up and running on a Friday to begin the restoration and removed the equipment on Monday.  At that time he scheduled someone to come and replace / paint the new baseboard and he returned to reinstall new carpet padding and clean the carpets.  All the work was completed within 1 week of the incident.  I am very impressed with KJS responsiveness and would use them again for any water damage / restoration work.  My rating on pricing is only reflective of not having a comparison to base pricing on since this was more of an emergent job.

Clothes washer broke and flooded the basement.  Discovered the one inch of water around midnight and called KJS after turning off the water and describing the problem.  A very professional crew arrived promptly at 9:30 in the morning and pumped out the water, cleaned up the area and set dehumidifiers and fans to dry out the basement.  By Monday morning, everything was back to normal and we were able to replace the appliance.  KJS was most efficient and totally effective.  We would use them again if necessary and can recommend them to anyone in need.

KJS was professional, knowledgable and helpful in all aspects of water damage and remediation.  They quickly sprang into action and their explanation of what needed to be done and why was clear and understandable.   And they were forthright in answering questions i had.  I found their rates to be fair and they even adjusted their invoice for work that ultimately wasn't required.   <br /> <br /> All in All  KJS was one of the better experiences in an otherwise poor experience. <br /> <br /> I highly recommend them.

They were very prompt.  Steve was professional and he took care of all the water in my basement.  Overall, they were excellent.  I didn’t have time to compare their price and I think that they were fine.  I would use them again in the future if need be.
