This company was amazing from start to finish. The salesman gave the bid, the owner contacted me to go over details and when It was time to start the project, he kept me informed each step of the way. This team was prompt, professional, very friendly and did an excellent job! They all assured me that their work would be done in a professional manner and it was. I would highly recommend Kleeschulte.

James Rumfelt came to give us a quote for the driveway. He took the measurements, did his calculations and then gave us a detailed quote. He explained in detail how the driveway will be rebuilt and answered our questions. The rates were very reasonable. They took care of getting permits, getting utilities marked. Many competitors gave a quote without giving details or even taking measurements. There was zero down payment. The full payment was given only after completion. The quality of work was excellent. After pouring the concrete and finishing, the next day they did the clean up and seeded the soil with grass seeds in the worked area.

The Concrete work was good but do not allow this company to use grass seed on areas required. They used a contractor grade grass seed that looks horrible and I will have to sod the effected areas this spring. I expect that it will require 8 to 10 pieces of sod to correct this problem. I am not a happy customer when it comes to this aspect of their performance.

They poured in concrete for us, but for just about 2 years, the concrete was corroding and breaking up already. WI have called them before to request that they repair the corrosion and breakage, but they told me then that they are not responsible. I have called them back again on March of 2019 but never got any response from them. All I want is for them to come and fix the concrete driveway and the sidewalk too.

Kleeschulte replaced my driveway in three stages on three consecutive days: they tore out the old driveway, they poured the new driveway, and they cleaned up. The men who tore out the old driveway took great care to not disturb our landscaping or sprinkler system. The men who poured the new driveway carefully navigated the cement mixer around our new mailbox and old tree. The man who did the cleanup was nice enough to keep the grass seed out of the flower beds, and instead he put a little extra in a bare spot on our lawn. What really struck me was how everyone spoke to each other pleasantly: there was no bickering. The best part was that when each of them had a momentary break they would spend it standing and looking at my driveway. They liked how it looked, and they liked what they were doing. We are very pleased with the result.

Mike's crew did an excellent job of both the driveway and patio. Mike worked with me in the design of the stamped patio and made several recommendations that I would not have considered if he had not volunteered the information. The concrete and stamping crew were professional and listened to my concerns when I voiced them; however, I would have liked it if they could have been more tidy with cleanup at the end of each day, but did a good job once the project was completed. The only point of disappointment was in the regrading and reseeding along the driveway and patio. This was done by a separate crew who did a less than spectacular job which eventually was resolved after several phone calls.

our neighbors were having their driveway replaced. while we were out watching them jackhammer, their rep asked if we wanted ours done. we desperately needed it, and they made a great offer since they were already there! we got a new driveway and sidewalk within 48 hours for a great price! understandably, we were fortunate under these circumstances, but we will definitely call them if/when we need future work!

I would use the again if I had another patio to do. I was very happy with their work.

It went horrible. The driveway looked so bad my painter and neighbors told me it wasn't done correctly. The owner came out and admitted to me it was done incorrectly and that he was going to tear it out and re-do the driveway. The problem is, he kept pushing the date off. He never showed-up. He left some of his forms on my lawn and several sprinkler heads were yanked out of place. My advice? Don't hire this company. They do poor work. If you do roll the dice with them, do NOT pay them until the work is completely finished to your satisfaction because the company does not back their work.

Mike Kleeschulte also agreed to fix two small concrete areas on the property as part of the job.  His crew prepared the areas by removing necessary dirt, and putting in forms to pour the concrete.  At the end of the day his crew said they ran out of concrete, but would be back the following week to finish the job.  They never came back.  Multiple calls were made to the company without a successful response.  Winter weather came so I put it on hold, and when spring came I once again made calls to the company.  Mike assured me he would come out and look at the situation, and get us taken care of, but he never showed up, and has never called.

NOTE WORK COMPLETED DATE should be Sep 15 2011, not 2015. <br /> They laid the driveways/sidewalks/walls and patio for me back in 2011. Immediately after the work was done we noticed some small cracks in the driveway. We called them and they said that hairline cracks were pretty common. We accepted their response at the time. <br /> <br /> In August of 2012 we contacted them again and met with the owner. He said that his work was warrantied for 20 years and that they were going to fix the work. They never did. <br /> <br /> We contacted them again in late 2013 and they said that they would fix it in April of 2014. Again they did not. We had to reach out to them again in September and again they said they were going to fix it. <br /> <br /> It is now September of 2014 and they will only agree to “patch” the cracks. At this point we have a 43 foot crack in one of the driveways that is as wide as three credit cards and is starting to raise up. It is well past the point where it can be corrected by just sealing or patching it. There are additional hairline cracks on almost all of the concrete sections, but this 43 foot long crack is beyond repair. <br /> <br /> We finally received a call from the owner on October 3, only to tell us he will put sand in the cracks and cover it with an epoxy. He also advised that he is closing his business at the end of the month because he has ad so many problems with cracking concrete.

Arrived 2 hours after promissed time, due to being "hung up at previous job"  for the tear out of the old driveway (asphalt) and old sidewalk next to the house.  Everything except the forms and spreading of gravel base was done the first day for prep. The crew arrived next day to do the pour and put up the forms.  Apparently they had the cement truck scheduled at a certain time because they were not quite ready for the truck.  During the pour the city inspector arrived (Dellwood) and asked them for the permit, which thay did not have (they had applied at the county office--not the city of Dellwood).  We were fined $75.00 for the lack of the $20.00 permit.  The foreman did say they would pay the fine, just let the office know when we get it.  Also, it is hard to get a live person on when you call  the office, but they do call back.  No 6 x6 mesh wire is included in the job unless you request it.  Finished job looked great! <br /> Willing to work with you on special problems or requests. <br />

Work, scheduled approximately 3 weeks out, was started / finished on time.  I had provided plan drawings for the work I wanted done. However, the workmen did not appear capable of reading or understanding them.  I had to stay on the job site and show them what I wanted.   Workman also appeared to lack basic skills - measuring, leveling, etc...  I spent several hours back filling and grading after they were gone.  In the end, I have an acceptable concrete parking area that seems to be holding up okay.  Fortunately, mine was a VERY simple project.  I can not recommend this company for anything more complicated. <br />

Everything went very well. The walk ended up being 3-4 inches higher than the previous walk. Needed some top soil to bring it level. They took care of it. <br /> <br />The quality of the concrete work was outstanding. <br />

They called with the date to start and all neighbors were in agreement with the date. Thankfully, there were a couple of retirees who were available to watch over. <br />

I contacted them because I found out they were related to the gentlemen who installed our garage door and was very happy with them and saw that they also had a good report from Angies' List. They gave us an estimate, came and did the job and we are satisfied.
