KMJ Contractors began work on August 22, 2022. The crew showed up for the first week and then issues began. Crew members did not show up and when reaching out to the owner/foreman, he promised better attendance. Eventually, they just stopped coming. I was left with a bathroom that was unusable. The last day they appeared was on September 20, 222. Attempts to reach the contractor went unanswered. This company cashed two checks totalling $4,600. Some work and some supplies were purchased, that is why I am requesting $1,800

Terrible communication. From the beginning to the end communication was horrible. Seemed like a very unprofessional group as far as knowing what they needed to do and being prepared for the job and this continued throughout the 3 days they were at my house. All in all the job got done and the electrician side other than not being prepared or having materials and having constant issues with the parts that they did have and ended up turning out well. The crew was friendly however I did feel unprofessional and not necessarily high quality.

They showed up on time. Did an amazing job on the deck extension. They used top notch materials and were very professional and even cleaned up everything when done. Def 5 star and so happy I have them to do more work for me in the future

Didn't finish work after several visits. Late each time they showed up. Not only didn't fix the problem, made it worse and then instead of coming back when they were supposed to never showed back up again and left me with a house with half the electric out that included bedrooms and bathroom. Had to hire anither electrician to fix what they mucked up. The plumber did his part of the work. Slow to do it and finish, but he at least finished his part and seemed to do a decent job. If you're looking for an electrician...this is not the place to go. If you're looking for a company that stands by their business and takes ownership for the workers they send out to work for them THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!! It wasn't just the electrician not knowing or doing his job properly...it was the OWNER of the company accepting NO responsibility to work on a resolution and just stopped taking calls/texts. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!!

"I'm sorry you were not happy with our service. In all fairness, we completed the work you contracted our company to do, and you paid in full. You then made arrangements with the electrician to do some additional work beyond the contracted work that we completed. This included rodent damage to wires in the garage. I notified you that the electrician, plumber, and 2 other techs had become infected with covid, and were unable to work for a period of time, as we do not send covid positive workers to job sites. This unfortunately affected the extra work you made arrangements with the electrician to do beyond the contracted work we had already completed for you. In addition, we readily accommodated your time schedule, as you were only able to have our techs come to the job on Saturdays and Sundays because you did not live on the property, and had just recently purchased the home. This schedule had our techs working seven days a week, and I apologize if you felt they worked slowly. It is unfortunate that the electrician became ill and was unable to perform the additional work you requested of him. We strive to satisfy our customers, and stand behind the completed contracted work we provided to you."

KMJ demo-ed the roof above our kitchen to expand an upstairs bedroom, did new construction to convert that bedroom to a master suite with a full bathroom and two walk-in closets. I am very pleased with the work!
