We recently had a new garage built and needed the old (30+ years) driveway replaced. I called Korpaczewski & Son Asphalt for a quote. They responded within a couple of hours and scheduled an on-site visit for the following evening. The owner John arrived as scheduled. John immediately recognized that the garage was a little lower than the old driveway and based on the existing grade water was most likely pooling at the end of the driveway. It does! We were specifically concerned with water potentially building up in an area between the house, porch, garage and a high section of lawn. He clearly explained his recommendations to regrade and contour the area so the water would flow away from the structures. The day John and his team arrived to remove the old driveway, grade and lay the base for the new driveway, he took the time to beautifully contour the lawn area next to the house, going well above and beyond expectations!! John and his team came back the following week to lay the asphalt. We were extremely impressed with how well his team worked together. They all knew their tasks and went about their jobs upon arrival until finishing. These folks work like a well oiled machine! John’s knowledge and integrity was obvious from our first meeting. John and his team didn’t disappoint on any aspect of the job! We highly recommend Korpaczewski & Son Asphalt to anyone looking to have a new driveway or any other service that they provide! Team K also did our neighbor's driveway last summer, so we knew they would be a strong contender when the time came to repair our old driveway, too. We were very impressed with J Korpaczewski & Son right from the start, when we received a very prompt response to our request for an estimate. John spent time explaining exactly what he would do to fix our driveway issues and gave us an estimate on the spot. We accepted his estimate. He gave us advance notice of when the prep work of digging up the old driveway would be done, and again when the actual paving was done. I've never seen a crew work as hard as John's! We are very pleased with the end result. It's wonderful not to have to navigate ruts and bumps, but to be able to drive up a smooth, level driveway. We would recommend John and his company to anyone needing paving.

John and his crew were top notch from start to finish. Came out the day after contacting them this past winter, gave me an accurate quote, prepared me for the whole process, and booked the job. Finished all prep work and laid first layer on time and in record time, and were back to lay asphalt in less time than we expected. We went from water and ice in my garage all through the winter to all water running nicely away from the house. Highly recommended!

After obtaining a few estimates from paving companies we decided on having John and his crew pave our driveway. They arrived when they said to estimate the work and again arrived when they said (on time) again to pave. Very well orchestrated crew where everyone knew their tasks as if like they’ve been working together for a long time. John and his son were very detailed in explaining what needed to be done, what the possible outcomes would be, and gave literature on what to expect for the different phases of this big project. From the very beginning John was very timely and responsive to questions we had before, during and after completion of the project. John was also on site during the whole project which was very important. John's crew worked very well together, there was no time wasted, they all seemed to be very experienced and well trained. The driveway is now as perfect as such a long driveway can be, drains well, looks beautiful. John and his company are detailed, completes projects timely from beginning to end, and are very professional with their company.

John and his crew did a great job. I was impressed by their professionalism from the moment the quote was done. He took me through all the steps, explained their approach, and made recommendations based on his expertise. The job consisted of removing the old pavement and laying down a reclaimed layer, followed by new pavement after about four to five weeks. I would be happy to refer others to his business.

John was totally professional from the beginning to the end. As we changed the configuration of our driveway (without plans), all of the old asphalt was removed and new reclaim was placed and rolled. The configuration was slightly different than the original plans but when I mentioned this to John he stated the asphalt would be done as I had expected and it was. Great job. My wife and I are very satisfied with the work and the process of getting to completion.

Superb! A++ John and his team of 9 showed up two different dates on time 6:30 a.m. as promised. He telephoned day before as a courtesy to let us know. The first time to dig up our old pavement and put down “reclaim” after that settled a couple of weeks He came back as promised with team and laid down 3” of beautiful hot pavement. When we phoned John he always returned our call within the same day or next morning. He was the best price quote out of 4. He is a busy man but made room in his schedule for us.
