They repaired the roof and the gutter on the side of the house. They were very professional and very quick to answer any questions I had. They made sure I was happy with the job before they left. Can't wait to use them again for the inside repairs!

We contacted Kozycolors the week of March 5th 2018. Spoke to Jason and he said he would come give me an estimate on the job on March 14th at 9am. He gave me a quote of around $850. I was happy with the price and asked if they had a specific tile person who would be doing the installation. He told us that he does all of the finish work and it would be him. There was some confusion about when we were scheduled. He put us on the calendar even though we had told him that we hadn't picked a tile yet. We had some samples and wanted to make sure it didn't matter which tile we picked. We eventually got all of that figured out and work moved forward. Someone came and took down the drywall and installed cement board. About a week later another guy came to install the tile. It wasn't Jason like he originally said it would be. The guy installing it clearly struggled over the next 2 days. Then he just left and didn't return. The tile job was horrible. Bare spots where there was no tile. Putty all over our kitchen. Glass scraps littering our garage and driveway. One of the tiles was completely crooked in the middle. Anyway, we called Jason to see what was happening and to let him know we were unhappy. He came out and looked at it and said he would send someone out to fix the problems in the next week or so. After 2 weeks we hadn't heard from him so we called him and he told us he had been fired. He gave us the phone number of the new foreman. We called him and told him what was going on. Him and another guy came out to see it and couldn't believe what a terrible job it was. They weren't sure how they would be able to fix this mess. They spent about 8 hours trying over the course of the next couple of days. Finally, unable to repair it he said he would talk to the owner, he took some pictures, and was going to let us know what he wanted done. All of this occurred over about 6 weeks. We hadn't heard anything so we called to check in and he said he had been fired. We finally got ahold of someone named Tom who said he was the owner. He said he new nothing of any of this and thought our job had been taken care of months ago. He said he felt terrible and that he would make it right. He said it wouldn't be until June, but we were going to be out of town for a month. We called when we returned in July. Tom said he would come to our house to see the problem on July 12th. He didn't show, but sent another guy. This guy said there was no way to fix the project and took pictures and sent them to Tom while he was at our house. Tom agreed that the whole project needed to be restarted and that he would take care of everything. There was another delay because the previous tile was no longer being manufactured and we had to find a new one. We chose a tile, Tom said he would purchase it. He sent someone out to remove the old tile and put up the new cement board. They were supposed to come back the next week to install the new tiles. They set up numerous dates and would sometimes call to delay and other times just not show at all. We were getting very frustrated by this point and told Tom we just wanted our money back. We weren't even asking for our whole $1800 investment. He just kept promising he would take care of it and that it would look great. We spoke to Tom multiple times and allowed him extra time because his son was sick. We were even praying for his child. The final time we communicated was on Dec. 13th. They were to arrive at 9:30 am. I hadn't heard from them that morning and I had an afternoon appointment. I left a voicemail around 11am and almost immediately received this text,"Hi this is Chrsten with kozycolors, the gentleman that's comining is running late. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we don't want you to have to wait and miss your appointment. He was called to a service call this morning and will text you back when he's on his way to your home." I believe this is the final communication we have received. My husband sent several texts to Tom, but we have never heard back. So, after $1800 spent we have less of a kitchen than when we began. We wanted to place the house on the market in 2 weeks, but don't see how that will be possible. We have cement board in our kitchen.
