The service and everything was fine and he is very pleasant. I was just concerned for the cost of the job for the refrigerator. The dryer was 265 which we didn't question. Its just that the refrigerator. He just move something or adjusted the wiring in the freezer then it worked he didn't have to take anything apart at all and he didn't have to replace anything. He work with the refrigerator for like 20mins.

"Sorry you weren’t satisfied with the price. I do not charge by the hour. I give a flat price whether the job takes 5 minutes or 5 hours and it doesn’t change. I do work efficiently. I charged $230 to replace the dryer belt and $165 to clear a clogged drain in the refrigerator which is a $20 discount because I was already at the house."

Dave was excellent in all respects. He answered the phone on the first call, even though I called on a Sunday afternoon, in the middle of a holiday weekend. He was quick in determining the problem, knowledgeable and professional in finding the best solution, and he was very accommodating to my work hours so I did not have to miss a work day when he returned to complete the fixing of my washer. Definitely will hire him again. Best job in the area!

Dave was very thorough in dissassembling the dryer & located a broken belt. He also vacuumed the lint to return my dryer to optimum drying capacity. He was very knowlegeable, informative, pleasant & professional.I appreciate that he rearranged his schedule to accommodate & resolve my problem with the dryer. I would definitely hire him again!

Great! Dave knew the most likely problem immediately and replaced the components involved in the problem area which related to the condensed water drain. Dave is highly experienced and very knowledgeable. He even gave advice on what to do to extend the life of a washing machine we just bought. We are completely satisfied will all aspects of the service and would highly recommend K & R Appliance Repair. We would, for sure, use them again.

I was called back promptly and while KR doesn’t cover my area still advised me how to fix problem (gas stove elements clicking continually) and save an unnecessary service call. He called before he came, arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and got to work. He was personable, professional, a clean worker and was done in less than an hour. The cost was less than what Samsung quoted me to just show up. I would call them again for any appliance repair. I also like that he is a local small business .

Not well, he replaced a part and said that should do it, didn’t work, wanted to replace another part and said that should do it.Passed , bought a new dryer. He must of had a bad day.

"There are intermittent problems that can not be replicated when the tech is at the house sometimes. Spent a lot of extra time with the customer and a thermometer inside the dryer that showed it was heating properly. At that point it’s educated guesses or nothing"

Dave is the man! He came out from K & R to fix my refrigerator while I was working from home. I was certain I was going to have to replace the fridge, but Dave quickly identified the issue and fixed it within an hour! Dave was friendly, clean, followed all of the CDC guidelines (in accordance to wearing a mask) a truly great experience overall! I would 100% use this company again if I face any issues in the future.

Although the washer was not fixed Dave did a great job. Always wearing a mask and trying his hardest to make the washer work. He returned 5 times and replaced several parts. I would highly recommend them.

Dave showed up early and promptly the morning after I contacted him. He went immediately to my garage, removed the paneling in the frig and quickly determined the problem. He said it would take a couple of days to get the part. Well, this took 6 days, in part because (he says) he didn't save my phone number. But he showed up on day 6, with the part, quickly made the fix and voila - my spare frig was working again. Aside from taking a little longer than expected, the price was reasonable, he was very professional and I would certainly trust him with any future problems.

The oven is old so the part has to be ordered. Dave came back two days later and replaced it. He is friendly and professional and did a good job.

Overall it went well because the refrigerator is working again. David call me within minutes of me submitting my request on Angie’s List, and he showed up within the promised service window. The only complaint I have is that he didn’t have a vacuum or any other tool to remove the dust / dirt from the refrigerator coils. He did give me specific instructions on how to clean the coils so he gets to keep his A Grade.

"I do not provide maintenance that every homeowner manual advises the “homeowner” should do periodically. I also asked the homeowner if they had a vacuum I could use to clean the unit while I was doing the repair and was told they didn’t have one."

If there were a higher rating, I would use it. My request was replied to very quickly in light of power outages at the time. My repair was performed quickly and service was professional and thorough. I will definitely use him again if needed. It is great to know there are still people who care about their product and the folks they provide it to.
