Workers came demo Kitchen, some supplies were dropped off, then nothing. This company has left us with no kitchen and will not return any phone calls.

On April 13, 2018, my wife and I entered into a master bath remodel contract with DAPKB Companies, LLC DBA Krystle’s Kitchen & Bath Design Studio (KKBDS). The contract included KKBDS gutting our entire bathroom and supplying all materials and labor for the master bathroom remodel. We chose KKBDS because Krystle Barboza provided a great layout change of our bathroom and we were able to choose all materials in her showroom in Pasadena, TX. The first day of work did not begin until May 16, a full month after our 50% payment check cleared the bank. From the first day of demo, this project was a disaster. Very little effort was taken to protect my home from dust and from tracking dust throughout my home. There was little to no communication from Krystle or Paul Barboza during this project. I would call, text, or email questions and concerns but would not receive a reply. I had to raise these concerns because neither Krystle nor Paul would be onsite to provide direction/instruction to their subcontractors. The last day any work was performed was June 29, 2018. After having paid 75% of the contract price, in the span of 10 weeks the following work was performed: The bathroom was gutted; Electrical work was performed (which must be corrected); Plumbing work was performed (which must be verified by a licensed plumber); Drywall was installed, taped, floated, textured, and primed. From July 1, there was no communication from Paul or Krystle Barboza. It was not until my wife and I drove to the KKBDS showroom in Pasadena, TX on July 13 to confront Paul or Krystle that we discovered a lockout notice on their front door. On July 24, 2018, Paul Barboza met me at my home to discuss the progress and the status of his company. I informed Paul that we did not trust him nor his company and that we no longer wished for his company to do any additional work on our project. I informed Paul that I was willing to pay for the materials received and the actual work that was performed. We would also require the proof of purchase for our cabinets. Paul said he would give me his dollar amount of materials provided and work performed no later than July 27, 2018. Paul has not contacted me since our July 24, 2018 meeting. The bottom line is that we have paid a huge sum of money and we have not received the products and services for which we have paid. KKBDS owes us a great deal of money, including materials, but neither Krystle nor Paul Barboza are returning calls or texts or emails.

Poor contacts with Krystle after initial demolition. Workers rarely showed up on time or even days scheduled. Their storefront has been closed by their landlord for non-payment of rent. All contact numbers are now non working. Work on our kitchen has not been completed. Today is July 11, 2018. Krystle was here on July 5, 2018 with workers and they were scheduled to work Friday and Saturday July 6 & 7. No one showed up and all the company phones are disconnected.

Wonderful service, the workers were on time and were extremely polite. The owners were very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend.

Not good as in wanted the money but didn't want to finish job

I was looking for a kitchen designer. I was referred to Krystle by a friend. I was very impressed by her designs so I had her design my closet and master bath as well. Very satisfied with the service.
