The project went well, they were here when they said they would be they cleaned up after themselves. Except for one small item, they left nails on top of our motor home roof this is not the reason for the c rating. The reason I give them a fair rating is due to the service after the installation. A year or so after the work was done we realized they left gaps in the roof line. Due to these gaps squirrels made a home in our attic. When I realized, I called an squirrel relocation company to come out and get rid of the squirrels as they can cause significant damage. I called LaFever and asked them to come out assuming this was an oversight. They informed me this was standard procedure, they leave these gaps all the the time and that is would be an additional charge of $500 do fix this. Terry was not interested in helping with this and almost condescending in his tone, "We have been doing this for over 20 years and have always done this". I would recommend to anyone if you decide to use this company that you verify there are no gaps prior to them leaving your property.

They came and looked at it same day, gave me a free estimate, promised a return date, were punctual on the second visit, not only did they replace my shingle but also re-sealed/nailed a set of shingles next to the wall where the problem occurred. Good sevice, thourough. Pricey but you get what you pay for. I would call them again, no question.

All the people I dealt with at LaFever were fantastic from the owner and office staff to the crew that worked on the project. They went above and beyond in assisting me with a warranty claim and accommodating my tight time schedule due to my house being under contract to sell. I decided to go with LaFever over another roofing company which was slightly less expensive based on their stellar reputation and they lived up to my expectations. I greatly appreciate their professionalism and quality workmanship and highly recommend them.

<p>I received a bid for Lafever in 2015. Terry Hagen provided me with a big with no pressure and actually gave me a repair quote for a few missing roofing tabs and said that he could check back each year to see when I really needed to replace. No pressure didn't try to say my roof was probably leaking and I needed to do it right away as others have. This was in July 2015 I believe, I thought about going ahead with the roof in late in the year and then decided to wait until spring. February rolled around and I received an email with an offer of 5% off any previously bid projects bid in 2015 and I signed up.</p> <p>Lafever worked with me on the schedule and had it done when it was right for me. Roofers showed up on time and very courteous. We are very happy and our house with the new color roof looks even better. Time will tell about the product used but so far very happy with everything</p>

<p>Excellent company! After initial contact with the office personnel (who were just wonderful and always, always took the time to answer our questions or put us in contact with the general manager, and he, without fail, returned our calls) we signed the contract and set a date (had to reschedule once due to rain). The tear off crew arrived in the morning. The foreman introduced himself and explained what they were doing. They put down tarps to protect landscaping, got on the roof, roped up, and finished the same day with the tear off and "dried" it in (in case it rained overnight, nothing would get wet). And they cleaned up. After they finished, and on the same day, the shingles were delivered to the roof top by another crew. Next day, the shingle/roofing crew arrived, the foreman checked in, everyone roped up, and worked until they finished with the roofing and cleanup. Wow! The next day, the roof was inspected by the manager who also checked in with us to make sure we were happy with how things had gone. What a super group of people! And run like a well oiled machine.......we know we have a roof that will last!</p> <br />

"[Member name removed], our invoice records indicate that the first repair was completed March 30th 2012 and we did have to come back out to resolve that issue and then that took care of the leak. That sounds like the repair you mention in your review. We also show that we had been out for another leak issue that was prior to the repair 3-30-2012 and that was taken care of without any further issues. We also came out January 29th 2013 to repair an issue with a improperly installed attic fan and resolved that issue also. We did not install the original roof or roof the addition. The house was built in 1995 and the addition was added in 2007. It is not always easy to diagnos a roof leak the first time and we apologize for the inconvenience of having to come back. I'm not sure when the other contractor gave you his thoughts on the life of your roof but typically when a roof is close to twenty years old it is coming to the end of the manufactures intended life expectancy."

They came and repaired the leak but not completely. The second time they seemed to have found and repaired the leak as we have had no further incidents. In all fairness this was a very small leak and the water flowed over a large distance so finding it was most difficult. Credit to them for identifying and repairing the matter. <br />

The best professional response from the initial call, to the bid, to the actual installation of the roof. There was also an inspection after the job was complete to confirm all was done to specs and that I was satisfied. I've given their name to several friends and neighbors, as I was so impressed by the qualify of work. <br />
