They got here in one day and they got the job done in two weeks, which is amazing

Lake Erie Roofing blames a storm for our roof issues. Snow, ice, water and wind has been getting underneath different sections of the rubber roof that were improperly installed and sealed. The whole temporary repair the employee did is now failing as well. All sections of the roof they worked on are no longer secured to the roof. Most of the rubber membrane has become unattached. The rubber membrane has not been installed, glued down or sealed properly which seems to be the cause of leaking, expansive ballooning and trampolining. This issue was never fully addressed by the temporary repair and continues to be a problem. One example of our roof issues is when they sent a roofing employee to inspect and temporarily repair the roof. This employee was able to put his finger between the rubber membrane and the wood of the roof at the opening of an unprotected downspout. Another example is that a downspout insert was installed to only two downspouts out of 4. That alone has left two downspouts with the ability to allow snow, ice, water and wind to get underneath the rubber membrane and cause damage to our roof and building, as well as, the ballooning and trampolining. Another example is that the rubber membrane underneath the metal eve that this company installed, also became unattached creating at least one found large gap which is an open funnel to the elements. All seams in the mobile membrane areas are being compromised due to this ballooning and trampolining. The problems we now have with our roof originated and continues due to Lake Erie Roofing and not a storm. We have video and picture proof of our roofs condition including the examples mentioned above if needed. Also, Jeff is not honoring the 20 year labor warranty that is in our contract.

In March/April of 2016 I had them do my roof, siding and gutters due to tree strike. The gutters on the side of the house were put on a 45 degree angle which was really strange. The soffett is on a 45 degree angle so I let that one go. The roof started leaking immediately so I had them come and fix it. Last month I saw that the same place they repaired was leaking again. I called them several times and they finally contacted me and came over to see it. The guy said it needs a square of shingles to fix. I did a follow up call with the owner and he made an appointment with me and they never showed. I called again. He said he'll do it soon. Then I noticed the gutter on the side of the house has come unattached to the house. I called and left a message about this. I called twice a week for two weeks. Still no response. He obviously does not intend on repairing his shoddy work and future customers deserve an avenue to be warned.

Never showed up even after multiple calls, emails, voicemails from me and Angieslist

I waited all afternoon on the scheduled day. No one from Lake Erie Roofing, Construction and Landscaping ever showed up or called. So the following Monday I called and left a message. No return call. I called again a couple of days later and left another message. No return call. I called again and left another message. No return call. I have now contacted Angie's list about setting up another provider or getting my money back as winter weather is soon to set in and my yard needs work that I've not done because I thought I had contracted through this big deal to have it done.

They just showed up and did the work and everything I had on my list was copleted. I asked them a couple questions about landscaping and they took care of everything.

They failed to show, did not answer my calls when they were late and to this date have still not responded to my message

Terrible never heard from them once even though I paid for work.

The actual labor went fine, but it took many phone calls, with 2 previously scheduled appointments that they did not make. The team worked quickly and professionally, but the amount of time it took to schedule them was frustrating. I also had to provide my own lawn bags.

There was a several issues with communication (it took nearly a month after the initial purchase date) and punctuality. Once they finally arrived (nearly 4 hours after the initial appointment window), the crew did do a good job. The bushes look nice, they spent some considerable time cleaning up and made sure everything was ok. Not sure I would hire again, need to think on it. If you hire them, make sure to stay on them until they actually start the job,

did a thorough and complete job, they were finished ahead of the time I paid for and asked what else they could do. Very courteous and professional.

Repaired the problem. Arrived on time. Staff were professional, kind and respectful to y family and the families that surrounding our property. I would use them again.

They did an excellent job! The thing that I liked most was that they did more than what I asked them for, mowing and edging both the front and back yard. The person overseeing the job made sure that he understood my priorities, ensuring that everything was done to my liking. he also came back to me and said "we can do more work, we work fast." I purchased the big deal for 8 hours worth of lawn work, however they did such an amazing job I intended to tip them also...but they left and I did not realize it. That being said, I definitely recommend them and intend on using them in the future. Hardworking and honest...is hard to come by these days. They were both.

Workers did not come prepared. Asked if I had garbage bags. I don't think I should pay and then be asked to supply them with garbage bAgs

Overall went well. Scheduling involved a lot of phone tag. Scheduling was the difficult part. Once date/time ironed out, crew was there early and got the work done fast. Quality of work was very good!

I had the company redo my roof and repair my chimneys. It took 6 weeks!! yes there were many rainy days, but this just dragged on and on and I was the one who always had to call and see what was going on. I kept waiting for the estimate for the retaining wall and it came 6 weeks later when I made the final payment. The roof and chimneys look good, but I repeatedly asked for information on the company who made the shingles and their warranty and never got it. Also I did not hire for the retaining wall. They wanted to charge me $3500. I contracted with another company who got the work done in 2 days for less than half of this companies estimated cost !!
