The repairs done by Lake Sunapee went very well and a professinal service provided; we have no complaints for this company.

Not well! A couple months later the trap came loose and our bathroom was flooded. We called and they sent a plumber who again "tightened the trap" and said it wouldn't be a problem anymore. But it was a problem! Another couple months and the trap loosened and the bathroom floods again. I called them and said to send someone that could fix the problem and I made it clear that I wanted someone who could really fix the problem. A different plumber came and replaced the trap with a new trap and it is now secure; but it took 3 trips and two flooded bathroom floors to get it done. They've sent a bill for $88 for the 3rd visit which I'm disputing. When I called their office and asked to speak to the owner, Randy Willey, the office mgr said he left the billing and paperwork to them and refused to transfer call to him or to ask him to call. She then threatened to take us to small claims court over the bill.

Great! They were prompt and curteous. They gave me a free estimate and then came back to complete the job. They answered all my questions. Project was completed in a little over a day. We have 5 heating zones. Final cost was within the estimate given. I have other projects that I plan to use them for.

BEWARE. Randy Wiley at Lake Sunapee Heating LLC is as deceptive, dishonest & unscrupulous as they come. He underbids on jobs to win them, overcharges on the invoice, leaves work incomplete, and won't hesitate to take YOU to court to fight for his nonsense inflated invoices. <br>On our job, he did all of the above. First time I've ever had a contractor not finish the job and sue <i>me</i>. I should have known, when I met him, we talked briefly but he mentioned suing people and how easy it is... 'Just pay the $95 fee', he told me. Wow, I should have run from this company. Note, the courthouse is 1 mile from his office. It may as well <i>be</i> his office. When I attended, the judge knew him FROM SIGHT and I was one of THREE lawsuits he had filed for THAT DAY. He fills his days playing the courtroom like Vegas, betting $95 that defendants won't show & he'll be awarded judgements. <br>Don't trust Randy Wiley or Lake Sunapee Heating LLC. He's happy to lie, leave the job unfinished, overcharge, and then sue you. An additional note - the lawsuit came immediately after I appealed to the BBB for resolution. He's so protective of his fabricated BBB A+ rating, he will sue you to protect it (BBB doesn't get involved when the case goes to court, and since he sues everybody who complains, no complaints make it through to the BBB).  <br>He is incapable of communicating anything to his workers, so if he quotes the job, his workers will have no idea what their task is when they arrive - beware. Beware, beware, beware. There's a lot of heating and cooling companies out there, PLEASE consider choosing someone else. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>

They're reliable. They come in a timely manner and they pretty much come anytime. If there's any kind of issue, they'll show up. They seem experienced and knowledgeable. It was reasonable, otherwise we would be looking for somebody else.

It all started in early November 2013 when I was promised a quote for a Mini split system. I waited three weeks, and after having to call them, was emailed a contract only, which stated they would "install a complete hyper heat Mitsubishi Mini split heating/cooling system in the master bed area." I then signed the contract and sent a deposit. I waited a and waited, finally the last week of January I called them because I still didn't have the system and our bedroom was at 50 degrees, and was told by the owner the "system had just come in." I scheduled an install for the following Monday. They came out and spent the most of the day installing it. Imagine my surprise when they told me " when you have the electric installed, don't let them turn it on, call us and we'll come and finish the job." A "complete system" means it works in my mind. It took several more weeks to get the system working, always with an excuse. They paid for the electrician, then sent me a bill for half.

The owner visited and provided an estimate in a timely manner and was very personable.  The estimate was very reasonable and the work began on time.  All workers were professional but it wasn't made clear most of the time, what time they could be expected to arrive on subsequent days after the start.

We were concerned with a couple of issues and they put our minds at ease.  They were professional and efficient;  George and Joe cleaned up after themselves, were very carefully to always use a drop cloth, and kept us in the loop on the installation.  If we had one area we wished that Lake Sunapee Heating would improve it would be in the area of customer communication.  However, we are more than satisfied with their work and would recommend this business. <br /> Overall assessment:  quality workmanship at a reasonable price. <br />

They did an excellent job.  Instead of replacing an entire panel which would have been more costly and more labor intensive, the took the time to research the issue with the furnace manufacturer and were able to fix it quickly and much more economically.  They were professional to deal with and prompt in their service.  <br /> They also did a middle of the night call for me sometime in December for a water heater that went bad and were efficient, prompt and very easy to work with.  Within two hours I had a new water heater installed and was back in business. <br />

He was very clean, and professional.

Overall experience was very good - Randy in particular was very helpful in letting us know what we needed and the job came in at just about the estimate. <br />

Overall LSP came highly recommended by another plumber and they employ only experienced, well trained people and have a well organized office.

I never had a problem with them and I did not have any complains. They are also good in terms of punctuality.

It was timely, efficient, and it was placed where I wanted.

Sunapee used high quality fixtures and fittings, the workmanship is very good and the system now works as was previously advertised. The plumbers/technicians were pleasant, communicated effectively, kept the area clean and cleaned up when they were finished. They explained what it was they were doing (I asked) and how to operate it when it was complete. They removed all the old material saving me from having to take it to a dump or recycle it. Based on this experience with Sunapee I also had them PM the boiler and improve the controls. That work also was done in a timely manner, done neatly and all the work was again explained to me. The system has only been operational for a week but I can tell the burner is not running as frequently nor is the flue as hot (strong indicator of inefficiency). Hopefully the savings will follow in the coming months.

They came in fixed everything. They were great. This was an emergency and they showed up very quickly.

They clean my furnace every year. My experience was wonderful. I have been using them for years.
