LA Landscapes

We had a patio paver installed and couldn't be happier with L A Landscapes from start to finish! Lee has a great eye for transforming a yard into more useable space! He and his crew were prompt on answering questions and did a wonderful job putting the patio together. He and his crew were also very friendly (and dog friendly!) and we look forward to hiring them for future yard projects!

They have done a marvelous job on my yard. I have used them for the last several years. I do a package deal; they do all of my lawn services.

<p>I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for the company.  When I purchased I was asked to select dates I wanted the mowing to take place.  I didn't select the dates so I later received an email asking me to call when I was ready.  I had it on my list of things to do but they just showed up whenever they wanted.  I happened to be home so I was a little surprised when people were all of a sudden in my home.  They were fast and did a good job but after they finished, they were just standing in my neighbors yard smoking.  I wouldn't appreciate that in my yard and doing it someone else's is a poor reflection on me.  Regardless of that incident, I was still planning on using them for the rest of the season.  However, when I asked for a quote for mowing every other week, I was told they would only be willing to come every week until July--then they'd be willing to come every other week.</p> <p>UPDATE:</p> <p>After the company said they wouldn't be willing to come, I secured another landscaper.  After approximately 6 weeks I received a bill from LA Landscapes for $120.  When I called to speak with the owner he didn't even ask my name or address.  Simply said I should have let them know I didn't want them to continue after the two I initially purchased.  But I had done that.  I would not recommend use of this company.  Poor customer service!</p>

They are always courteous and very efficient. They were able to mulch the leaves that had fallen so I didn't have to rake anymore this fall <br />

They mow at both locations and do maintenance as well. They even cut down trees at my business location. They are terrific. Very responsive and do a great job. I highly recommend them.

L. A. Landscapes did a nice job. They've been good. For shoveling my drive and my walk, they charge $45. For cutting my grass, they charge $35. I will continue to use them in the future.

They were great!  They were efficient and came back a few days later to make sure everything was appropriate and growing.  They were really easy to work with to schedule the job.

We found the landscaper through Curly Bros in Westfield.  After reviewing Angie's list write-ups on this landscaper we decided to try him for our project.  Lee Ackerman, owner of the company came to the house the same day as we contacted him, reviewed what we wanted done and provided an estimate of $1900.  We accepted the estimate on the next day (Tuesday) and his crew showed up Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. to start the project.  The wall was in place by earlier afternoon; the crew was very efficient and professional. <br /> <br /> <br />

This has been my lawn company for 4 years. Lee is very easy to communicate with and gets the job done. He may not return my phone call that day for a special project, but then the crew just shows up and does a great job. That is why I don't switch to another company every time a flyer appears in my mailbox. When the crew trims all of my shrubs every spring, I don't have to hover over them to tell them what to do. They know how to take care of a yard. <br />

They were very neat, they care more for my lawn then I do.

They are reliable and they do a more than decent job. The workers who come out are fine. I would recommend them to others. Some of the workers like the ones who blow for instance can be better trained. They tend to forget that you don't want the grass blown back into your flower beds and trees that are mulched.  He usually comes out on Thursday.

Used them for years.  Reliable, flexible, fair.  Excellent value.

We switched to some other landscaping company this year since we had some issues with dandelion. We used to pay them $70 for mowing but spreading weed killer and fertilizers were more. However, the landscaper was in par with everybody else around. It was only we who stopped using their services. They are very reliable and neat. They do good mowing and clean up the grass and other part of the yard very nicely after the work is done. However, we were never displeased with their job and we are thinking of going back to them. We just wanted to have them get rid of the dandelions.

I have been using Lee Ackerman (now LA Landscape) for a variety of lawn and landscape services since 1994. I have never had a single issue, problem or compliant. I estimate I spend $1,000 - $1,500 per year and I will continue to LA Landscape.

He does a great job and if I ever have a question or problem he is willing to come back out. He always handles it himself.

Very good work for reasonable price.

A nice large replacement tree was planted, and they even edged my flower beds and tree beds also.
